I installed devoid-froyo-final.zip using custom recovery CWM
THe zip installed successfully but , i am not getting connected to my network.!!!!!!
Shows "NO SERVICE" in the notification..
I was using Final Official Russian 2.3.3 v.20B_00.KDZ before installing this..
How to get connected to network .?? Please help me.
I see no IMEI , nor network details on my phone.!!!! Why is it so??

I have managed to getback to stock gingerbread V20B .. Now all is well

After installing the 2.2.1 froyo_Achotjan ROM on my Sony Ericsson X10i, I am unable to use my Wifi. whenever I switch on wifi, it says "error"...
any solution to this? did I forget to install something, or did I install something wrong? I followed all the instructions in the guide...

And after reboot install via recovery the fix
if u don't install the fix u wont have the wifi working
and if u install fix at the same session that u installed the rom u will lose the settings.apk

I tried that...the bad behavior...it scans for networks, but refuses to pick up my router. then it automatically switches off my wifi. when I try again...I get "error". When I try to do bad behavior again, it doesn't work.
I installed this baseband: "Achotjan_v01.4_baseband_54/55/58_Full " from the guide
but in my phone, under baseband, it says "unknown" after installation

u installed a option of rom that use the 54-58 baseband
but before installing that rom u should check what baseband r u using...
and after that u could choose what version use...

flash u x10 with that baseband and maybe ur problem get solved

before do anything i RECOMEND U
flash ur phone with .58 baseband
achotjan says that his rom works better with .58
baseband works 4 all the wireless conectivity so wifi could be affected if are using diferent baseband
i'm using the .58 and my x10 works great with achotjan 2.2 vers 1.4

I had updated my phone to the new base band using official Lg update and then i had rooted my phone and also have installed Recovery from Rom manager and Franco Kernel.
Now a update from Lg update tool pops up asking to update the phone.

Don't know if you can uptade by official way after rooting...(in my opiniom the oficials roms are very ugly and had lots of bloatware)...Yes, you can install any rom(if it's for old baseband just intall old baseband trough kdzupdater)...About kernel:if you are unhappy if the touchscreen lag, flash paolo kernel(v6=vsync on, v5=vsync off)...and about the vibration:try downloading audio manager from market and uncheck(or check) the boxes of vibration...
About msg vibration --go to message--setting --below notification--vibrate--never..

Try this method !
But also keep in mind that after using KDZ u will have to root and install custom recovery again.

Use this method, it has more infos and less chance to bricky your phone and yes... you'l have to root and install recovery again if you install a rom, but if you just change the baseband your phone will not brick and you won't need to root again.For change the baseband you can use this method(don't forget to look at the first thread to check if you have the drivers and the lg modem disabled with more info and maybe something i forget, used to change basebands and roms)

I resolved my problem after installing the ROM my SIM card was not detected and I had no network I went to see the setting I did not see the baseband version of my writing there had "unknown baseband" I reflash my baseband 01.02.71 with Flashtool with "X10i_2.1.71_ARO.ftf" and then I reflash the kernel "X10_a1Kernel_v4For.a1exanders.M1U1.v11.and.later.ftf" and my SIM and again, and I detected the network!

is your phone in contract or simunlocked?
I have the same problem. i played with my phone. The phone wasn't locked to a specific operator( i yhink it was unlocked - is a SH Phone). The ideea is that i played with s1tool and everythinh was ok, i flashed the phone, i installed a new room (m&m, but with another kernel, nmot the one recomanded), after that the phone did not boot, i reflashed the phone with diffrent kernels(my mistake) and after that the s1tool told me "NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE". I installed a rom for locked bootloader with doom kernel, but now my phone doesen't see my network anymore -please insert sin card and restart. AAA.. before that i used SEUD and installed the default room - my phone was capable to see the available networks but it keeps told me - please insert sim card and restart. Now i have the MUI rom with doom kernel (both for looked bootloader - the version with the xrecovery installer), and my phone doesn't see the networks anymore.

Guys,
You have some mistakes:
First unlocking bootloader that somewhere harm your device.
Second flashing another kernel instead of recommended one.
Third you don't pay attention enough to installing rom's procedures.
It is important to use the specific kernels that rom maker tells us.

I used SEUS and put the stock rom ... the phone still not recognize my card, but it can see the available networks. I have one question. If i use SEUS when i install the rom it install the specific kernel or the phone keep the one that i installed?

Ok. Somehow i fixed my problem. That's what i've done:
I used SEUS and i installed the stock rom. Then I installed flashtool (try to do a fresh install of flashtool if you allready have it installed) i installed the busybox and then i used the bootloader unlock from plugins menu. After i unlocked my bootloader the phoen saw my network immediatley. I supose that everyone else that have this problem have the bootloader locked or they tried to unlock the bootloader and didn's succeed.

I have a problem using this rom , after i installed it ( wiped everything ) i got a network lock message after boot .. went back to resurrection remix ( latest version and latest syiah kernel ) but i still got network locked message ..i searched and saw the Galaxy S Unlocker which is free , succesfully unlocked the phone .. then i made another full wipe , reinstalled Omega v16.2 but when i try to use the unlocker its simply not working .. is there anything i can do ? i really want this rom becouse its so good optimized and is looking so damn good .. thank you very much .
Isn't it a sim unlock code not network some Sims have a code in them from the network I have that on my partner's e5 I had problems but took it to shop to unlock took 3 day worked but I found that the apn is locked by sim 2 code could this be the problem , just a idea could be sim code not network unlock code so could be Rom related not network

hmm .. ill try to manualy add the apn .. oh **** man it got locked again after i restarted the phone ._. .. even with my old rom that i used for few weeks.. i hope this is not the end of my phone .. **** .. another question : my internal memory is full even if i wipe entire phone .. can i delete everything from internal memory via usb cable ? will the phone create the files needed again ? thank you !

flash the latest siyah or dorimanx kernel and see for the issue
i will try to flash the latest syiah kernel .. but if is still not working .. if i go to an Orange shop and my phone is second hand .. i dont know anymore where the seller is .. will they unlock it ? ._.'

First try the kernel option ma8, if it doesnt help then u can approach the Orange people with the issue

Problem got SOLVED ! im writing this so anyone can see it .. it seems they put a protection on newer versions so everytime you unlock it via galaxy s unlock after restart you need to unlock it again. My problem got solved by flashing stock 4.0.3 from samobile and then flash syiah kernel . I unlocked it , restarted it few times and is still unlocked. thank you everyone !

And are you using philz kernel? If you are, it has a broken recovery. Flash Siyah kernel from www.gokhanmoral.com, then flash the ROM you want.

try to do a full wipe and install a custom rom or any latest .ftf for your phone through flashtool
you can find the latest baseband files here:

I tried to downgrade to GB and installed many custom ROMs and back to the offical ICS and nothing has changed
still the same message when I register to the netwrok
