Hey guys,
I have noticed that Xperia S doesn't have a light sensor. but in whitepaper they say it is.
i really like to enable auto brightness control but with this i am unable to do it.
The auto brightness is working fine and it's always on,there is no option to turn it off,you need a third-party app to turn it off.

If u want to enable auto brightness just set ur brightness to about 18 percent and reboot! Then u'll notice auto brightness works!

Hi,
I have seen a few threads on this problem. Proximity sensor showing 0,0 when tested. I am running CM10.1 was wondering if there is a way to disable the sensor, through coding or other means, any help and step by step would be apreciated.
Would a ghost sheild over the sensor cause issues with depth on the sensor?
Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the help!! Hardware disabler is exactly what I was looking for.
I assume it's from the screen protector over the sensor

There's 15 sensors in our galaxy s3. Anyone know function of each? Among these sensors is there one that is never used?

If you have Device Info Live Wallpaper installed you will know that S3 has 15 sensors.

You've been answered. You can count "sound sensor" (mic), "touch sensor", "GPS sensor", wifi sensor and whatever else, because it senses these in some way
When i flashed veneno rom.. I touched settings... Then my proximity sensor not working properly... Plz help me!!
Wash ur phone or if u r using a screen protector without a cut on the sensor, remove it
