Hey, my accelerometer won't work anymore so is there a part for it? or what part is it connected so i can fix it? I tried to calibrate it, but the blue dot just stays in the middle not moving at all..
What ROM are you using?
I dont think its the rom tho.. it worked before..

I had the EXACT same problem.
Flash a new rom and check your accelerometer. Mine stopped working for some reason and had to flash the rom over again and it fixed it.
Itsa hardware problem.. so does anyo.e know how to fix it?

Sometimes i have problems with the proximity sensor in call. The proximity sensor isn't quick and i click accidentally some buttons that breaks the call. I would have an app that block the screen immediately after the calling start, and when i leave the ear from the screen the screen is still blocked. Is there? Is there also a feature in such roms for that? I use now the resurrection rom, but i have used also cm and oxygen, and i have had the same problem. Thanks

Hi,
I have seen a few threads on this problem. Proximity sensor showing 0,0 when tested. I am running CM10.1 was wondering if there is a way to disable the sensor, through coding or other means, any help and step by step would be apreciated.
Would a ghost sheild over the sensor cause issues with depth on the sensor?
Thanks for any help!

I saw many people got this issue too after they update to ics stock .587 from gingerbread. But for me I used stock rom for 3 mnths, ultimate hd 2. 02. For 1 mnth nd zellycream for almost 1 month. Front camera nd proximity not working from couple of days. When itried to check it with the Xperia service menu option it says "my device doesnt support this function" both proximity and front camera" I dont think its a harware issue.if it is hardware issue then the camera wont work but the front camera option in the sttings could have been there...
Plzzzzz any dev help me plzzzzzzzz

Skype recognises only the rear camera. No front camera.
I open the service menu (*#*#SERVICE#*#* i.e
*#*#7378423#*#*) and test the secondary camera, and it
says "This device does not support the function". The primary
works fine. All other supported features work fine. Light
sensor (next to the front cam) responds too. (But the
Proximity switch doesn't. Not sure if it should. Perhaps that
could hint at a hardware problem with the connections from
the bottom half to the top slider part

Think its a hardware problem
Need more info

If it is hardware problem then the front camera option could have been there. I think so

After using 3 years my mini pro front camera option disappear
Have anyone got any solution for this
Anyone have the same problem during calling? The screen stays black after putting it in the face and after call end I still need to push the power button 2-3 times to turn the screen on back.
P.S.
I am using Official Kitkat version non-rooted.

Sounds like a bug. Re-flash or repair it in PCC or do a factory reset and see if that fixes it.

Ok I will try to repair through PC companion. I think I am the only one having this kind of problem because I have been searching the forums to look for solution. Until now I can't find anything having the same bug.

Yup, that's true. Are you using a screen protector on top of the anti-shatter film? If yes, the solution is probably calibration, which is very easy.

How can I calibrate the proximity sensor? I haven't done PC companion repair because my Internet connection was so slow. And yes iam also using generic screen protector which doesn't have a hole in proximity sensor. That's why I want to try fixing calibration proximity sensor first.

It seems, that calibration feature has gone, it's not present anymore on KK

I can confirm that the cause of my problem was the screen protector. I removed it now and my phone is working fine now. Thanks to those who help me.

I cannot see the calibration feature either.
I have no screen protector, the cell is clean and quite new. I tried xperia disgnostic and it tell me the proximity sensor is always detecting something. I tried calibrating the sensor with *#*#7378423#*#* but the ability to calibrate is not present only the testing. According to sony pc companion i have the latest version. I just resetted my phone to make sure it was not the problem.
Build Number: 14.3.A.0.757
android 4.4.2
I suggest to revert back to JB 4.3 to do calibration. Then try again flash Kitkat and look if it works.
