Ok, it appears clockwork doesnt have a mode to move the ext2 to ext4 but I notice alot of roms are including optomized ext4 tweaks. I was just wondering how I can convert my ext2 to ext4?? Thanks for looking.
Hi. Please tell me how can I get ext3 if CWM is only converted to ext4?
I know it can be done with firmware flashing. But I would like to do this without using a PC. On the Samsung it is possible by CWM. Thanks for your reply. And an apology for my English.
Hi I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility to convert the system and data partions to EXT4.
another question is if it is possible to resize the partitions and for example make room for an recovery partition.

I've downloaded and extracted system.img from the SGS III dump, but the usual method of mounting it with something like mount -o loop system.img mnt doesn't work, and trying a few filesystems like ext4 doesn't successfully mount.
How do you mount/extract this img? A Windows method would be even better, but I'll be satisfied with Linux.
Thanks!
