Today my friend borrowed my Atrix to root and change the kernel. Its now stuck on Failed to boot 2 Starting RSD mode. i have downloaded the stock .sbf file and rsd lite. But i cant seem to get it into RSD mode. PLEASE HELP and im sorry if this is in the wrong section

I have not made any progress on this myself.....

Look for the SBF flash thread in the development forum, the instructions are very clear.

I did but like i said i cannot get in rsd mode... And if "starting rsd mode" is being in it then why is rsd lite failing each flash of.the sbf

While tuning one the phone, press up and if your phone writes stareing rds protocol, then you are in rds mode.
Root? Okay..
But to install kernel you have to have an unlocked bootloader.
Have you?
Edit: btw aln kernels are in beta! Not too say in alpha.. Most of them install them to report bugs to dev creator..
For flashind sbf, make sure you have almost full battery.. So don't waist your bat..

Use the 1.83 custom sbf in the dev forums that is a custom 1.83 that has the unlock sbf and preinstall root already built into the sbf. I think there's a link to it in the edible pudding thread

You don't. You need the rsd lite app on your computer. Connect your phone with the USB then load the sbf and flash

You did something wrong during the SBF process (of course). You have to make sure that your phone was in RSD mode (which it now is in) and use RSD Lite (on windows) or SBF_flash (linux and mac) to flash the SBF onto the phone.
Also, MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS DULLY CHARGED. I got an error the first time I SBF'd cuz I didn't do that. Had to get a new battery and then flash.
Hope this helped.

Try downloading the file with Firefox or chrome and extract the .gz file with 7zip
Also there is a 2.3.3 and a 2.2.2 sbf file, try them both

Gsm or cdma version?
Well either way, use this utility to flash back to stock, and reroot, make sure to only flash a rom that is for your phone ie. Gsm or cdma, and your area.

Thanks Mate..
i will try to do it again..
if it fail again, i will contact in the thread again
describe exactly what happened
installed leak?
If it fails to rsd back you probably have been updated to ics, that being the case trying to rsd back to gingerbread will always fail. You will need to rsd to the .211 build. I'd use mats new tool possibly skip to the new 214 leak then use the same bundled tool for rooting. (given you are cdma) I must recommend a full charge for any flashing, a low battery can result in failed flash and also blows your batt stats to hell

[Q] Please help with QPST - "No phone" problem

My Motorola Droid RazR XT910 lost IMEI and I'm trying to restore it with QPST (with this motod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1960918), but QPST alway showing "No phone" (http://www.upnito.sk/imggal.php?viewImage=385197517f62c0e78cae468f7c1fa78e).
I'm trying to solve this problem for over a week and I do not know how to move on.
Sorry for my ENG
Do not try to do something to your phone which are for other devices except. The original Razr and Razr HD are completely different. I recommend you download the fastboot file for your region and flash it on RSD Lite
