Gsm or cdma version?
Well either way, use this utility to flash back to stock, and reroot, make sure to only flash a rom that is for your phone ie. Gsm or cdma, and your area.

Thanks Mate..
i will try to do it again..
if it fail again, i will contact in the thread again
describe exactly what happened
installed leak?
If it fails to rsd back you probably have been updated to ics, that being the case trying to rsd back to gingerbread will always fail. You will need to rsd to the .211 build. I'd use mats new tool possibly skip to the new 214 leak then use the same bundled tool for rooting. (given you are cdma) I must recommend a full charge for any flashing, a low battery can result in failed flash and also blows your batt stats to hell

A nandroid backup is not an sbf file. Hard bricks come from flashing the wrong sbf file.

if you flash the sbf that matches the stock version you had prior to unlocking, you'll be fine. flash anything older than that, and you risk bricking.

thanks again I have found my version and i am downloading it right now. but how to flash it? I need to enter rsd mode in my phone and through rsd lte? I've downloaded an gz file type. and inside it has ths sbf file, and RSD lite can use both types. I know that it sounds like stupid question but I only want to verify, I need to use the sbf file and not the gz right?

No problem. Search for RSD online, i'm running 5.7, but i think i was told by another user the other day that its up to 6.1 or something. reboot phone and hold vol up. it will display something about standing by for rsd support. connect phone to computer, let any necessary drivers install from device. then load sbf file into rsd, and after the drivers have installed, hit the detect for device button, and then flash the sbf to the device

no problem. one more thing. you may get an error message when you do it. if you flashed a different radio to your device, you need to follow the following steps first
Solved !
1. Copy Radio image (baseband) to the folder where located fastboot. 2. Power on phone and select fastboot 3. execute: fastboot flash radio bp.img, Where bp.img baseband image files 4. execute: fastboot reboot 5. Phone automatically boot on the android recovery mode 6. Wipe userdata/cache 7. Reload in RSD mode 8. on the RSD lite browse appropriate .sbf file and puch Start
Thats all.

Hi all
I purchased what seemed to be a xt910 from ebay once arrived it worked on the android gb retailasia.03 , what was weird about it is that the outside was branded with verizon and behind was written on the phone xt912 while the about page said it was a XT910.
On the phone was superuser which i guess it had to be rooted
I messed up and used Matt's utility to tro to update the phone to ics and got stuck in a bootloop it wont start , go into recovery or anything i have been trying to flash with verizon ics , gb , asiaretail ics and gb it is very confusing since i dont know if it's a verizon or xt910 orignally.
I have not been updating over 4.0.4 since i read that once you update you can't turn back although i tried to update it never booted and received errors on RSDLITE 5.7 cdt.bin Failed on every time
I was low on battery and ordered a factory cable from ebay , If this is helpfull
I am hopeless and gave it to a shop , of course he couldn't do it so this is my last resort and anyn help will be much apreciated i couldn't even use and tryout this amazing phone and yet i have it 1 month stuck on fastboot
I am currently located in israel and people just don't know this stuff here
i will provide pictures as well and hope some of you can help me since i am a noob in this and it's way more complicated then i expected
IT will be greatly apreciated
thanks!

Hello jerjer
Did you clear data / factory reset it at least twice in a row? Before and after using the utility? Many times boot loop is easily fixed this way.
Sorry to state the obvious but first things first right.

Follow the steps below.
1.Doawload a RsdLite,you can find it online.
2.Download a XT912 Jellybean Fastboot
File on internet.
3.Connect your phone to the computer with AP mode.(You can get into AP mode with this way ress the volume - button and power button about 10 seconds, when the screen turns into black, release the power button and keep pressing the volume button.)
4.Run the RSDLite, pull your Fastboot file into the RsdLite window, click the button in the middle.Wait the process over and the phone will reboot automaticly.

Ok so I accidentally deleted the system font I was using and thought I had replaced it with another font in Windows explorer using the app TypeFresh. I restarted my phone to apply the changes. But while restarting it won't go past the boot animation. What happened? How can I fix this?
I am using Jellybean 4.1.2.
*SOLUTION* Purchase a factory cable or adapter. Charge my phone. Restore Software using the Droid Utility.
PROBLEM: Battery Low error prevents me from further flashing the device to restore it's software. Since it turned off mid flash my phone is practically a skeleton with barely any software installed which prevents me from using normal methods to charge my phone.

Ok you need to download rsdlite and latest motorola drivers for your pc or mac and also a fastboot file depending on your region, just google 'em...
Ok here you can get the fastboot file.

install rsdlite and open it up.
Boot up your phone in ap fastboot and connect it to your pc or mac with usb cable.
When rsdlite recognizes your phone, click on the 3 dots and search for the fastbootfile you downloaded (make sure is the same region as your phone i.e. if you live in europe get a europe file)
Then hit start and let rsdlite do its thing,I believe you might lose your data but since you cannot back up there is nothing you can do,sorry.
Good luck.

Hi All,
I have a Droid Razr Maxx (Verizon) which was on 4.1.2 OTA update. I tried to edit the build.prop and messed up. The phone turns on to the Red Moto logo, later goes into the typical Droid Razr graphics and is stuck there for ever (Stuck on Booting?). I am able to enter into recovery, thankfully.
Now can anyone suggest a way to flash only the build.prop to restore it?
Else, can you point me to stock XT912M 4.1.2 so that I can flash getting into recovery?
Or is there is a better way that I could get out of this mess?
Many thanks in advance.

you might want to try using rsd to fully restore the phone. That would also fix your issue. I have done this lots of times. Before you start make sure your phone is charged. Or you will have to buy a USB cable that allows the phone to work with the computer with out charging.
Sent from my XT912 using Tapatalk
In order to flash only build.prop you need to be able to start an adb session and then push the file, or use aroma which executes after boot menu manager so it is not a choice since you can't pass from red logo.
Easier way is rsd flashing a service rom so it will not delete so many files.
