I have been experiencing very low ear piece volume since i bought this atom, even though i upgraded to the latest rom (which claims to solve the problem) but in vein. its really very low when you compare it with other available phone models which are many times cheaper than atom .
any tweaks to solve this problem.

I have the same problem. On the other hand sometimes voice distored and i can not understand what others saying eventhough i upgraded latest patch. Pls help...
I also have this prob , there was a reg trick to set value of IntVol to 5+ , but it didnt work !

would like to ask other Lumia 710 owners, does your phone have real 30 level volume control? I mean, when listening with headphones the volume controls goes like x/30 but there's no difference between 21-24/30, then 25-27 no difference and 28/30 is going to blow my ears off...
Can this be fixed with a new ROM, or it's a strictly hardware-related issue? I'm considering flashing my phone, this is one of the reasons so I'd love to be sure before bricking it

Happens to me on Rainbowmod Rom too. I think it's hardware based.
Well I can confirm that it still works that way after upgrading a 059N1R9 to 1600.3031.8773.12121. The volume changes only every four or five points of the phony 1-30 scale.

I own a Alcatel OneTouch 4033D phone with rooted Android 4.2.2. The sound coming off the phone at first, before i tweaked some things was a bit quiet so i went to the engineer mode and raised it. But throughout having this phone the bass is sort of lacking and i cant really feel it. Ive used many types of headphones and they all sound the same so its the phones fault. Ive used viper4android and always receive a fake bass. When i increased the volume of the bass, other frequencies got lower. I know there could be some sound compression going on as the volume becomes lower only if i increase the bass. It doesn't happen for the other frequencies. Also there is some hearing aid that this phone has that always pops up when i increase the volume above 80%. Thats what i know . The headphones i use are heavy bass so are the earphones.

so i have found the over all volume of this phone to be low making it hard for me to hear. I have used Samsung Sound Adept to better deal with my hear loss. I wanted to know if there is any way to boost the over all volume of the phone. Thanks
Is there any way to increase the overall volume on the phone.. Even when using the speaker, the volume really sucks...
Made a few adjustments in the settings I did not see before.. Now everything seems to a little better.. I just remember yrs ago, there were files you could change in these phones to increase the stock volume much better then what it was..
