Sorry if this has been asked before, but im currently on wolfbreak's TW 8.1 with Zkernel, i know theres underclock to 128MHZ but when i use cpu spy, i can see that most of the time its either at 1113 mhz or at 128mhz.
Am i not suppose to see deep sleep anymore? Is this due to the kernel or i have some application on affecting my phones deep sleep.
okay please close this topic i just found the solution to my problem... forgot to disable automatic time update..

any app out there that cud do this ?? Setcpu profiles arent working fine on stock 2.3.3 with franco's kernel and cpu is stuck at 245 mhz with screen off and freq is not rising when i unlock the phone i have to do it manually ..anybody got any fixes for deep sleeping my phone ??? I want to save battery which btw sucks on this russian v20b
As stated in the title. Im using doomkernel v5 on stock. CPUspy indicates only 998mhz. Is it normal?
I don't know about other frequencies, but the phone doesn't go into deep sleep while charging. Unplug the phone, let it sit with screen off for a minute or two, then go check CPU Spy again and refreshing wouldn't hurt.
I'm using TW v5c with Doomkernal overclock and CPUSpy is telling me I'm only using 998 MHz??
Swyped on my TW v5 2.3.3 X10i
From what I understand, Doomkernel v5 by default boots up at 998, unless you have SetCPU set to overclock it on boot. Boots up in a safe state by default, you can tweak it from there with setcpu.
i managed to get it to charge at 245mhz after restarting my phone.
i found out that the official facebook app cos the phone to not go into deep sleep normally. just go to applications and close the facebook running process.
Today i have an abnormal consumption of battery and i see from cpu spy that deep sleep is unused and locked to 200 mhz.
I have not installed nothing particulary and i made a wipe of cache and dalvik but nothing changed
Use BetterBatteryStatus to what apps are causing wakelocks.

Adjust the settings of the culprit app(s) or uninstall/use alternatives.
Make sure you don't have any email syncing frequently.
Reflash your kernel if you can't find the reason not going to deep sleep.
try siyah kernal its really good and battery life so good too and deep sleep work without any problem and u can oc and uv the cpu
u can use stable version from:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263838
or 2.2 beta6 fromwww.gokhanmoral.com/gm/
I'm running unNamed and ive noticed that cpuspy reports that my deep sleep state as unused.... i was active at one point and i've just recently noticed this change. how can i reenable it/ what is causing it?
Go into CPU spy, reset timers, then put your phone down for about 15 minutes without use. When you check cpu spy you should see the deep sleep state used. If it is not then something is keeping your phone "awake".
You can't manually minipulate the seperate cpu states.
Edit: your phone will not deep sleep if it is charging.
Hey guys...
does setcpu prevent the phone from getting into deep sleep mode? i deleted setcpu and tried it with no-frills cpu control and the deep sleep mode worked but on setcpu it didn't work... is it because of the "Screen off" profile?
Oh forgot to say that i'm using Spawk ROM and munjenis custom kernel.
Nope. I always use it. It's fine

Even with the profile for screen off? i had it on 200/200... maybe it was something else that didn't work thank you
Nope. I have a screen off profile and have never had problems
