[Q] Hard Bricked my Atrix. .I think - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok I believe my phone is "Hard Bricked", because it doesn't power up at all. The Green led light will show if i take the battery out and plug it into the computer. This happened as was trying to start the process to unlock my bootloader. I was using RSDlite, loading the "zomgunlock" sbf file, put my phone into rsd mode plugged it in, pressed start and next thing i know it turned off and won't turn back on. Can someone help me?

I just had the same thing happen to me the x1000 error comes up for a second then blank screen. I have been searching the threads but I have not found an answer yet. Anyone have a suggestion??? Thanks in advance.

That is hard brick and for now ther is nothing to do...sorry

[Q] Atrix no fastboot no rsd mode wont turn on

Hello, im new here, i've tried to unlock the bootloader of my atrix 4g ftom at&t on gb 2.3.6 4.5.151 with the sbf 4547-fix-try2.sbf, then my atrix got stuck at screen
with just a bunch of options fastboot, rsd mode etc, and error reads Failed to booot 0x1000 os not found. Then i've tried to fix it with Moto-FB Stock Restore.bat but everything failed then tried to unlock again with zomgunlock-lite.sbf and atrix showed the red logo M then shut down and rsd got stuck at 99% and my phone on the balack screen. Now the atrix wont turn on, im not even able to get rsd mode or fastboot mode, is not even reconized by my pc just the green led when i plug it in with no battery, with battery in, not even the green led its showing. What can i do? its my atrix dead? i've just bought it this monday ...
update.. I've found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182871 now i know too late it has a solution before i screw it.
When i do vol up + put battery in + connect usb i got a green led with battery but still dont show on pc..
Your battery may just be too dead for it to turn on or charge. Try finding an external battery charger to put your battery in. AT&T stores can supposedly charge it for you, or you can buy a charger cheaply on ebay like http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-USB-Sync-Dock-Battery-Charger-Motorola-Atrix-4G-/250868490262
I'm not sure this will fix your phone, but it's worth a shot.
U might also be able to take a voltage meter to the battery see what u get. That will easily tell u if its got a charge. Best of luck to u man

Motorola XT 531, bricked?

Hello.
I have a Motorola XT531, rooted. I wanted to make a full backup and I installed ClockworkMod ROM Manager. When I expected the phone to reboot into recovery mode, the screen went completely blank.
I took off the battery and put it back. When I press the power button, the phone vibrates but nothing more happens, the screen stays blank. The same happens if I press and hold any of the three h/w buttons (volume +, vol -, camera) when powering on (I don't know exactly which one should enter recovery).
If I connect the phone to the PC thru the USB cable, it's not recognized ("adb devices" shows nothing attached).
So, is it bricked?
Done
I flashed a stock rom image and it's working now.
Help me!!!!!
How did you do?
Explain it, maybe I can repair my xt531
Thanks for your help

I've used RSD Lite to flash a stock SBF file.
There are several tutorials on how to use RSD Lite on these forums.
The SBF file I don't remember exactly where I got it from, it's the Brazil Retail version, and worked fine for me here in Argentina. In this thread there are some links to other SBF files from around the world: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1271114
Thanks you... but the RSD does not recognize the xt531:thumbup:

Just in case... Don't forget to extract the .sbf file from the .rar/.zip archive you may have downloaded.

[Q] HELP PLEAE - I think I totally Bricked my Razr Maxx

I am desperate and have searched all over several forums to hopefully find someone else that has pulled this boner and had the same situation. I seem to be the only one ... LOL
I tried updating my Razr Maxx to Blur_Version.6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US (actually is 6.16.215). I got a stock 211 on my Razr using RSD. It booted into recovery afterwards and I just went ahead and tried plashing 215 from the SD card. All seemed to be going well, phone rebooted afterwards and showed it was "Optimizing Apps". I walked off to do something and when I came back my Razr had a black screen. I tried to turn it on, No Go. I tried the Reboot (Vol - plus Power buttons), No Go. I tried to boot into recovery (power and both Vol buttons). No GO
The facts as I know them. I did not unroot before trying to flash 215. When I plug the charger in, I get the LED in the upper left for a moment and then it goes out. I have charged the phone for 7 hours and then tried all the boot up options (regular, soft reboot, Recovery). Nothing seems to work to turn my phone on so I can retry everything via RSD or whatever I need to do.
I know this is long, but I really need your help .... From all you guru's ...
Thanks in advance. I am at work so I may not be able to reply right away. Thanks again.

I guess I broke my XT910

Hi everyone,
I am writing in order to find a helping hint to rescue my Motorola Razr XT910...
I was just trying to install another ROM via BMM, wiped everything, tried to reboot to BMM again because I inserted a SD card...
Now it does not reboot anymore and does not show the BMM boot animation!
It shows the regular, red Motorola logo, and then nothing.. black..
What did I do wrong, or what can I do to revive it??? Is there any windows one click installer/tool/recovery program??
I have been using BMM for a while now and this never happened... I installed many roms but now it seems as if it is broken.
I would be so happy to get some hints. I haven't found some similar posts for this problem.

there isn't a script tool for the xt910 because there are too many firmwares. The motorola logo means your bootloader is there, the black screen after means there isn't a ROM for it to boot up. It is curious that BMM hijack isn't showing up though. Have you taken the sd card out and tried booting it up again?
Anyways make sure you can get into stock recovery, if so, find the correct firmware for your xt910 (it is region specific.)
reinstall it with RSD lite(make sure you have plenty of battery.) Reroot, Reinstall BMM and restore your backup.

Thanks for your quick reply!
Right now I cannot get into ANY menu or something, I can press any button I want. After the "logo" it stays black. The phone also might not even be able to be connected to my computer. At least Microsoft Windows doesn't even show a new device when I connect it via USB, regardless if I have the correct drivers...
I dont know what to do... RSD didnt help me either. It wont find the phone...

What logo? There is no logo in recovery...
Press vol-,vol+ and power button at the same time to get into recovery, select the option AP Fastboot and then you connect it via usb.

Well, whenever you turn on your Razr, there is an initial red Motorola Logo. After that you usually touch the screen to boot into BMM (in case the green boot loader appears).
BUT... (of course I tried the VOL+ Vol- und Power button move) after rebooting it only shows the red Motorola Logo and then nothing but black.

How long are you holding them down.. it can take a good twenty-thirty seconds sometimes. Mine is also finicky if I don't press them all down at the exact same time, it wont let me in then either.
If your getting the boot logo it is just really hard to believe you dont have stock recovery... can the device charge? If you hook it to a computer do you get the white led?
While it is Flashing M LOGO.... just keep the VOLUME DOWN AND POWER KEY Pressed...till it Flashes and Shutsdown....and immediately let go the Buttons and Immediately Again press Both the buttons... VOL DOWN+POWER Key
when you get to the FASTBOOT mode
you can follow this video

Now I am facing an issue that's really annoying. I can get into recovery (AP Fastboot) if the phone is connected to a power source. As soon as I unplug it, the screen turns black! When I connect the phone to my computer, the LED goes white and I cannot access AP Fastboot....
When no cable is connected to the phone I cannot access any recovery mode.
What is wrong here? Even if I connect the phone to the power source only, it shows the red Motorola logo all the time. It seems as if I cannot turn it off. Is there also a trick how to really turn it off and let the phone charge??

First of all: Sony will probably not help you since you unlocked the bootloader.
Next: Have you tryed to to connect to a computer using Flashtool?
