[Q] Atrix no fastboot no rsd mode wont turn on - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, im new here, i've tried to unlock the bootloader of my atrix 4g ftom at&t on gb 2.3.6 4.5.151 with the sbf 4547-fix-try2.sbf, then my atrix got stuck at screen
with just a bunch of options fastboot, rsd mode etc, and error reads Failed to booot 0x1000 os not found. Then i've tried to fix it with Moto-FB Stock Restore.bat but everything failed then tried to unlock again with zomgunlock-lite.sbf and atrix showed the red logo M then shut down and rsd got stuck at 99% and my phone on the balack screen. Now the atrix wont turn on, im not even able to get rsd mode or fastboot mode, is not even reconized by my pc just the green led when i plug it in with no battery, with battery in, not even the green led its showing. What can i do? its my atrix dead? i've just bought it this monday ...
update.. I've found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182871 now i know too late it has a solution before i screw it.
When i do vol up + put battery in + connect usb i got a green led with battery but still dont show on pc..

Your battery may just be too dead for it to turn on or charge. Try finding an external battery charger to put your battery in. AT&T stores can supposedly charge it for you, or you can buy a charger cheaply on ebay like http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-USB-Sync-Dock-Battery-Charger-Motorola-Atrix-4G-/250868490262
I'm not sure this will fix your phone, but it's worth a shot.

U might also be able to take a voltage meter to the battery see what u get. That will easily tell u if its got a charge. Best of luck to u man

Bricked!?!

Tried to go about Brief Mobiles steps on unlocking the bootloader I am on 2.2 and followed the steps to a T ran RSD extracted unlock zip and started to flash the zomgunlock sbf RSD lite a few min later said fail now my phone will not boot. Plus the only thing I can get it to do is light up the green LED when I plug it into the computer, but only will do this if the battery isnt in and will stay lit if battery is inserted but as soon as you pull it out light goes off...so now I am lost tried wall charger I am so lost...never had so many problems rooting a phone. Had Incredible, Thunderbolt, Charge, Droid X, LG ally, and Now Atrix. I figured this phone would be cake. Anways any help would be awesome!
Just plug your phone into your computer with one of the back usb ports and see if it will start up (by itself) to the point where it says "Fail to boot 0x1000".
If it does just press vol down to get to fastboot and the press vol up. Then open a cmd and go to the fastboot folder and run the commands.
I hope this is the issue.
That didn't work left plugged in for 7hours last night and nothing...

Okay, I just want to be sure we're on the same page.
With the phone turned off and battery inserted, you have plugged it into the computer (without trying to turn it on yourself) and nothing came up?

Also, have you tried tried turning it on while holding the Vol up button (or Vol down)?
Again, I'm pretty sure you have tried these things, I just want to make sure.

I'm having the same issue but states "Be aware that sections of this guide apply ONLY to 2.1.1 and now 2.2.3 and are NOT for AT&T Atrix at all!"
I tried Android Recovery and it sits at Magic value mismatch reading odm fuse: 1

[Q] hard brick...?

i'm sure there is a thread that has my specific problem here somewhere and i deeply apologize. if there is one please direct me to it.
i got my atrix rooted and was looking for a way to revert it back to stock.
i was using rsd lite 5.3.1 and an sbf 1.5.2 i believe and now all i get is a brief screen and then it goes blank. the screen says:
svf:105:1:2
failed to boot 0x1000
then it starts to flash a third line of text but the whole screen goes blank immediately. if anyone has any ideas. i bought it from a private party so i'm not sure if i could get it warranted...
any help or direction would be great.
just for additional info, my battery was charged prior to this happening (92%)
Read this
thanks. i actually just stumbled across that thread like 30 seconds ago. hope i can fix it. =/
Actually, if it shows starting RSD protocol or something to that effect, it can still be fixed.
If it shows nvflash than currently no, it cannot be fixed
i'm actually not sure what the third line of text is.
this is actually exactly what it does:
http ://youtu .be/ 3fwcoin3c_I
i'm not allowed to post links yet so i had to space it out.
Ah... It says entering Nvflash recovery mode. Sorry, it cannot be fixed. I feel for you, but one of the main 'rules' while using the atrix is to never flash a FroYo sbf over a Gingerbread one.
He didn't flash froyo he flashed the version before froyo. And yes your phone is officially a paperweight.

I just recently did this and my heart sank. I kept trying thou and found a way out. I held down the power button and the volume up key while placing the battery in. It gave me the following message.
SVF:105:1:2
Failed to boot 0x1000
PwrReason: PWR_KEY_PRESS
Starting Fastboot protocol support.
From here I was able to fastboot and unlock the phone and install the CWM recovery. I did fastboot reboot at the end and now I have a functional phone again . Useful information
Also, sorry for digging up an old thread, but it's one of the first ones that google pulls up when you look up that error code.
please help, same issue
Hi
I recently did the same thing, however I used 2.3.6 4.5.141 sbf to flash my currently 2.3.6. 4.5.1.45 . There was a problem with a font installer i and this this turned out to be my last restort. RSD Lite failed, twice o nthe 100% completion, something to do with failed to enter BP mode. Note that, on normal power on i am getting failed to boot 1.
Power + Vol Down
entering nvflash recovery, cuts off
After a full night charge, same thing but says battery too low in ddition.
Power + Vol Up
failed to boot 1,
power reason :charger ;
Starting fastboot protol support
Battery too low
prior to allow this battery low issues, when i did the power + vol up and used fastboot, i was abel to run fastboot commands, but was not able to do anythin successufly, example, i got device ID, but erase failed, even oem unlock. I believe the bootloader is still locked due to the update i received 4.5.145. Device is rooted.
Note i had unlocked and rooted and used all sorts of roms before, then reverted back to stock to simply get the 4.5.145 update, then re root.
I really need some assistance, anyone.

I was able to get rid of the "battery too low" message by popping my battery out, cutting up a usb cable, and then plugging the cable into a usb charger ac adapter. The two cables I needed were red and black. Red went on positive lead. Black went on negative lead. I had to let it charge for at least a few hours. This is kind of dangerous and can cause a fire. Don't leave it unattended. Make sure the battery never gets hot. Mine never even got warm. I used three pieces of tape to secure the cable to the battery. I used scissors to cut the tape. One large piece of tape to hold the majority of the cable. One small piece of tape to hold the two shielded red and black wires in place, and another small piece of tape on the end to hold the wires onto the leads. Be careful not to let the wires cross over onto the any of the other leads.
But now I'm stuck. If I hold vol down, it will say "booting into nvflash recover mode" and then quickly go black. The led light goes off also. It's very quick...maybe half a second. I had to take a picture of it in order to be able to read what it says. If I hold vol up it will go to fastboot. If I press nothing it says "failed to boot 1". I can't go to rsd protocol or do anything else.
once bricked phone no longer charges battery you must buy a wall battery charger or a 5 wire usb cable. I bought the wall charger and extra battery for 15 bucks off ebay. battery must be fully charged before unbricking your phone. you need to flash the proper pudding files for the version you are running. i used xatrixweb.webs.com to fix my bricked phone worked great

worked very well for me once i used a full battery. and had to read up his instructions forgot to mention fail to boot XXXX automaticly puts phone in a rsd protocal state after 5 seconds if you dont touch it i beleive it was step 2 where he said to select rsd but phone would read fail to boot just run rsd there and after phone boots with stock software.

Bootloop M screen, cannot get AP Fastboot

Hey guys and gals.
I recently installed a 912 rom on a 910 like an idiot, so I've gone into AP fastboot and reset to brazil fastfiles. now my phone resets itself over and over again. I cannot get into recovery as the phone doesnt respond to Vol Up + Vol Down + Power.. and I have no way of turning off the phone completely... help?
Ok I got into fastboot but now I have the low battery problem, will the phone charge if I leave it looping on the M screen?
And now my phone is on a black screen with the LED a white colour... im lost here

It won't charge unless its in the OS. You need a factory cable at this point.
click here the problem battery low
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403100
Ah ok simple enough, working on it now
Instead of using solder I stripped back the wires and wrapped them, and put shrink wrap on them. but now my phone will not do anything, no M logo, doesn't boot into fastboot at all...
Your goal is to flash the BR fastboot file via RSD with the factory cable. The factory cable should allow you to flash as it supplies constant power without the battery. Make sure you have built it right or just buy one from blackhat although they appear to be out of stock.
Since I bought the phone two days ago, I returned to a Rogers Wireless store and got a direct exchange.

I think I bricked my Electrify help please

Hi. I hope someone can help me out. My Motorola Electrify(US Cellular Photon) was getting stuck on the can not boot1 screen. So I used RSD Lite to try to load the software back on. It looked like it was working but said failed. Now the phone wont turn on at all and wont charge etc. Is there anyway to get the software back onto the phone if you cant turn on the phone?

Did you drain the battery dead? Does the phone turn on if you take the battery out, plug power cord in, and then put the battery back?
If so the only way I found past a Failed to Boot 1 is to RSD the non 2.3.5 pudding onto it. If you get this far you will be stuck unlocked but at least you will be back up and running.
Also it would be helpful if you explained how to got to the Failed to Boot 1 screen. What steps you took..

When I plug in the phone using the usb to the computer a the status led indicator lights up white. When I plug it into a charger it doesnt charge at all. I put a different charged battery in it and it wont even power on. I was putting the stock OS back on using RSD lite and then it said failed. Now it wont power on anymore. Any way to get the OS back on the phone if I cant even power it on?

Try connect it to the computer then press volume up + power (RSD protocol mode).
Is it still cannot entering RSD Protocol ?
Cause was i has almost same problem, failed flashing using RSDLite (it got stuck in BP passtrought). When i try to to power up, nothing, entering RSD Protocol (without connect to the computer), nothing. But when i connect it to the computer then try to enter RSD protocol, its work. Flash it again and success.
Maybe you can try it.

[Q] Droid Razr stuck on M logo. Wont charge!

I tried downloading the new 4.0.4 leak and it didn't work :/
But anyway i set my phone back to original stock and my battery must have died.
So now my phone is doing something weird. I go to turn it on and it wont go past the M logo.
When I plug it into the charger it still wont go past the M logo, nor does it charge my battery. I can't plug it into the computer because the phone is so dead that it gives me "the white light"
I can't send my phone in because I rooted it and they won't do anything..
Please help!
Try following Steps:
Boot in AP Fastboot > Connect your Wall Charger > Press Power
If you're an lucky Guy, your RazR will pass the red M and jump into the Battery Screen.
If your system is broken, you have to order an Factory Cable. With this you can flash the correct system signed or use the modded Utility for CDMA Leaks, to get your Phone back to life.
Wish you luck dude.

i had the exact same situation as you. however mine went down to last resort as nothing would save me. i had to get a motorola factory cable and all back to normal now.
you can still try alternatives incase yours is slightly different situation
i think they meant well plug into wall charger
ur phone boots up automatically so have vol + & - held then pick AP Fastboot then press power button to turn off phone and then see outcome?
