start up only when charges - Legend Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys, i have a problem.
I flashed my legend with this ROM ([ROM][RC2][22.07.2011] Gingerbread 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1) and i bricked it. Now I have had fixed it somehow, but the problem is that my phone wont start (infinite boot loop) if it isnt plugged in and charging. Does anybody knows how to fix this?
I have one more problem. When i connect my phone over the USB to computer, it doesnt recognize my SD card... + when in recovery mode, my phone is not recognized too.
sorry for my crappy english and please help me.

Personally CM6.1 is the only rom not to boot loop on me when it's not plugged into power.
BTW if you used the USB un-brick guide your computer will never recognise the SD card again (got one in my draw I use for USB un-bricking )

Even if I format my computer?
And yes, thank you, it worked!

Unfortunately yes it puts a security tag on the SD card which only your phone can get past

My SD card died... But I left it a few days out of the phone and out of my laptop, and then tried the SD Formatter.
It worked, but it has to be version 3.0, and you have to have a proper SD card reader, as it doesn't work via your phone.
I hope this helps you get your SD back.
Thanks,

[help] sd card damaged!

Hey guys I was messing around with kaosgingerbread earlier and I made a nandroid backup of KGB but after rebooting, my phone reported that my sd card was damaged and I need to reformat to fix it. I can't mount it or access it. I tried restoring an earlier nandroid and it restored perfectly fine but still reported the card as damaged. I sadly have not been backing up my files like I should've so I have some important files that I don't want to lose but I cant mount it to my pc.
I was wondering if there was any way I could save those files. Is it possible to pull the files to my pc with adb? Should I get a mini sd to sd adapter and plug it in directly to my pc? Or am I pretty much screwed and should just cut my losses at this point?
Sent from my Vanilla FroShedYo using XDA App
if i were you id use the sd adapter and see if itll mount to pc that way and if it wont mount you might just have to start fresh by reformatting on your phone thru setting\sd storage....hope that helps

Have you tried to boot in recovery and use usb toggle to access your sd card?

No I have not ill try that now see how it works, thanks!
Edit: just tried it out no luck says I have to reformat it to access the files, if that's the case, will it be pointless to try the sd adapter? Is reformatting my only option at this point?

Well decided to bite the bullet and reformat had some issues doing it from the phone so I had to boot into recovery and use usb ms toggle and reformat from windows but it fixed the issue.
Now my question is does anyone know what caused the issue to begin with?

Yeah, back the files up on your pc/laptop. In storage options, it'll allow you to format the SD Card.

Formatted my whole phone accidently, pls help...

Thought I formatted my external SD card only but I accidently formatted the Internal SD card. Im able to boot into recovery only. Can I transfer a ROM to Recovery from my PC or do I have to use Odin again to recover my phone? Thanks...
sounds like you wiped system. there should be an option in recovery to mount your sd card to your pc and xfer a rom over that way to flash. as long as you can boot into recovery, shouldnt have to redo odin.

you could at least TRY some of the options available in recovery before making a post....

If you have an LG phone, you need to seek help in the appropriate forum. This forum is for a Samsung phone, and we would not have the knowledge to address your issues.
