[Q] Dropped Call Problems :( - HTC EVO 3D

I have been having an issue with dropped calls of late. Unfortunately, the more important the call, the more likely it is it will be dropped at the worst possible moment.
It seems like the call begins to degrade a bit and then blip, gone. I have an Airave and never had issues with my EVO 4G.
Any ideas?

Geesh, this is getting out of control. That is 4 dropped calls in an hour .

No problem here

Bluetooth calls through car(s)

I have different aftermarket radios in both cars. Phone is synced up to both. I can receive and make calls through both, but when trying to return a call just missed it will not go through the radio even though its still connected. Anyone else have similar issues?

I'm having serious problems with bluetooth. I can talk on it for sometimes five minutes, or sometimes 30 minutes, and I just lose connection even though it says its connected, I hear them in handset for maybe a free seconds then the phone hangs up. Getting really annoying. Same boat as you mainly.

Muffled ringing?

Anyone notice when making outgoing calls if the ringing drops off and sounds muffled after about the third or fourth ring? When someone answers it sounds totally fine but it gets very hard to hear the ringing. Also happens on the speakerphone so it seems like a Sprint issue except my OG EVO never did this and neither does my wife's iPhone.

Problem sending texts.

I'm having problems sending texts on my phone it's brand new only a day old (I switched out my other evo due to battery issues). Now this phone is much better even just feels sturdier than my previous one but last night it randomly stopped letting me send texts.. My data is pulling a consistent 2mbps and I can make calls but I cannot text. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how'd you fix it?
I have had this issue as well. I just toggle airplane mode and it catches after that.
Same thing here, did a power cycle and was good to go.

Strange dial tone of death I call it..

Anyone experienced this... If you try and make a call and it fails right from the get go the phone starts a strange disconnect dial tone that comes out of the speaker and won't stop or end until u reboot
What's I noticed is its random and also when it does it I notice it's only when I try to dial on dropped signal or no signal bars,I'm thinking it's either a glitch or if u happen to drop signal the moment u call out it was a causes this

This happens to both of my two of my EVO's. Any ideas?
I'm finding out it has to do with the roam guards

If you turn them off it should stop.

This has happened to me too, repeatedly.
Reboot is the only thing to reset it.
I just turned off roam guards, lets see if that helps....

Fuzzy distorted call quality / defective top speaker... Help

I noticed the other day that when the volume on my phone calls exceeds about 2 thirds up the callers voice gets fuzzy / slightly distorted like a radio turned up to loud. I'm hoping this isn't symptomatic of a blown speaker. Can someone else test this to tell me if this is normal? My other phone is a blackberry z10 and it does not display this symptom so I'm fairly certain it's not a network issue. To test call an automated number I.e. a bank or credit card and turn the volume up incrementally. Again this is not in speaker mode (or less / barely noticeable do to the fact the bottom speaker also turns on and drowns out the top speaker). Just need to know if this is normal or I should exchange for a new one prior to my 2 week exchange window to not receive a refurb. Thanks a lot,
Andrew

Turned it all the way up and called my work voicemail. No distortion at all. I'd check to make sure that you have a decent signal first. If so, swap it for a new one
Thanks for checking... It seemed to get a little worse today so I'm going to call tmo tomorrow and try and have a replacement shipped out because they have no stock left at my local tmobile.
