The download management is corrupted so it's kinda hard to keep track of my new downloaded files. Is there any way to reinstall it? (without flashing the rom again)

On my SD-card I have theese files saved:
recovery-backup.img
recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img
recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img
Its a long time since I rooted my Hero - and cant remember what I did - just followed a guide. Im not sure what the above files do - if someone know - I would very much like to know.
Are the above files nessasary for my Hero to boot up? Or can I move them to another folder on the SD-card?

"recovery-backup.img" is the backup file of your system recovery at the time when you rooted your phone, keep it in a safe place if you want to unroot in the future.

Thanks for your quick reply. I will save the recovery-backup.img on a very safe place although I dont think I ever will go back to a unrooted phone.
How about the other files? Can I move them to a safe place too without any problems starting up the phone or break the root?

That is just your recovery image that you downloaded from here (it's the thing that is used to flash files, backup etc.) You can delete it

I'm a new here and I really need your help in some issue:
my files were deleted by accident when i did a wipe to my samsung fascinate after a rom changing. they were raelly important files (images and etc.) to me. is there any chance i could get those files back? sry about the english and thanks alot for the helpers
All your files should be on your SC card not your phone's memory....
yea i allready knew it, but the files are gone anyway! I got into the DCIM folder and the file were not there
Need more info, were you on a gingerbread rom? If so your sd card is about to get fried.

ok so i was on community rom if I remember- then I changed to cm7 and it worked great even with the memory thing and i also had a titanium backup so I could recover the files anytime but suddenly it stopped to work! I couldnt activate the apk,which mean that I cant get my files back...I downloaded the apk again but there was no backup at all! and now I'm really stuck!
There you go, CM7 is a GB based rom.
Keep me Fascinated.
After installing another rom when I try to load Titanium I get an insufficient space message.....any ideas what I can do to sort this !!!!

Have deleted loads but cant get it working. I am looking for a rom to install via Odin as the PC can't now see the phone ! Any rom with tar will do I guess ?

I accidently deleted both the apk and odex from/system/app while trying to get rid of that annoying shutter noise. For the first time in my life i haven't backed up the file (or have a cwm backup) anybody be able to lend me a hand in getting the app back and running? Is it even possible with the TW framework thingy?

A Search might find .
B download a stock rom and rip what you want out .
c save messing flash a stock rom .

thanks for the quick reply, I tried putting the files back into the app folder and anytime i run the camera app from homescreen/app drawer, the screen appears to rotate( as when the app normally loads) and then crashes. any help anyone?
Flash the same stock ROM back without wiping.
thanked everybody it's sorted. tried flashing stock yesterday but kept getting FCs in camera, so didnt think it'd work this time (i used the same rom and everything) oh well it works thats the main thing.
