hi everybody I am new here and using atrix 4g and I need help I was update my att atrix 2.3.4 official gingerbread and today my phone is always restarting not opening . red motorola logo passing and att logo came then restart itself always doing this not giving any error . I can enter the fastboot menu and try to make android revovery but not working what is the problem do you know ? the phone heating
my advice:
try wiping data/cache first... if it doesn't help -> pull battery off... wait 2 minutes... put it back, power on in RSD mode (volume up + power)... flash official AT&T 2.3.4 SBF (if you don't care about unlocking or modding).... wipe data/cache...

Try to hold "volume down" key when you power up, see if you can get "fastboot"
if you can get into recovery, try to flash "Fruit Cakes" to upgrade
I has the same problem with the 2.3.6 update from bell.
Phone locked up just after reboot and when power cycled the phone automatically retried to reinstall. Instead of flashing a new rom, I went into recovery mode, cleared the cache and restarted the phone. After I did this, a message popped up starting three phone had encountered an error with an update and would not update. All good now.

Hi, ima new member... i have a prob with my motorola xt800w.. it won't enter into bootloader mode, only in android recovery mode 3e.. i was using the phone to watch youtube videos. i noticed that it was getting slower so decided to restart the phone.. after i restarted the phone, it got stuck on the motorola M logo.. entered into recovery mode, inserted the usb but can't be detected by the pc.. i tried wiping delvik cache/factory defaults a number of times but to no effect.. much help is appreciated.. thanks!
oh, and i recently upgraded it to MIUI firmware which said that it was for moto xt800w but when i checked the phone status, it said motorola milestone.. i was a bit confused but didn't bother to change it since the phone was working well at first after upgrading it..
Use google translate to view this page: http://bbs.hiapk.com/thread-1242662-1-1.html it may help...but i also can't get bootloader by pressing the key, try to look this page if success tell me.
This worked for me,just needed to understand the rough translation of google translate
Try this key combination
Turn it off completely.(e.g. by removing the battery)
Half-press the camera button (as we do to focus while taking some snap). Then the Vol_Down key with that. Now press the power button.
The phone will get into bootloader mode.

- Have you tried to wipe dalvik cache, cahe partition & factory reset before flashing it to 2.2.2 rom? Try it and flash it again one more time! That works for me!^^

Hi,
Based on your video, I haven't see you flashed with RSD Lite and fastboot file.
You can give a try based on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289
Download LATAM fastboot file (Chile should be latam right?) and download also latest rsd lite ver 6.1.4
Good luck and hope it will unbrick your phone.

reaches the motorola dual core logo and restarts :crying::crying:there some method other than by fasboot?, or some solution?
Have you download fastboot files that match with you region? if yes then you have same issue with me
So far what I know to flash is use batch file that developed by awesome developers here and RSD lite.
Have you try this:
- Go to boot menu (the way you get AP Fastboot menu) but this time try to select BP Tools
- and wait will your phone able to boot into system or not... If you able to boot into bp tools, get your phone root (JB is able for root now, get the thread in development), then install BMM to have it normal boot .. I got this suggestion but never able to have my phone boot in BP Tools, so I never know this works or not so good luck
- When you choose BP Tools and your phone still on M logo turn it off (you should wait only 10 or 15 minutes max) then turn off your phone and put it in boot menu to select BP HW Diag.. then.. we have same issue.. be prepare your phone only able to phone call , sms , taking camera, cannot access data only rely wifi , USB debugging not working, some fastboot files makes your phone not able to charge (I have to turn off my phone then charge)
I still strugling to have my phone back to normal also..

Hello there. Since I'm new here I'd like to say hello to everyone
Today I got my RAZR and wanted to play with it. It was already rooted and it had a 4.1.2 android for it, but I didn't liked it at all so I tried to install MIUI. After creating a new partition (1) i had installed miui, but after reboot phone died - Motorola logo appears and it reboots. I looked for some info in the internet and I found about installing new, clean rom via fastboot. I downloaded SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.6_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTCEE_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot archive and tried to install it with Eternity Project, but after rebooting system does not start and android with red triangle appears.
Right now I am stuck and I don't know what to do. Could you guys tell me what should I do? The phone is RAZR XT910 from European distribution. Also, my Phone is being recognized as Spyder S.
Thank's in advance

When you see android with red triangle just press vol- and vol+ and find the option factory reset.
From your post I see that you flashed ICS Fastboot file, right?
Were you on ICS or JB before brick?

Well, as far as I remember it was JellyBean. I tried to flash it, but it didn't work at all. When I tried to flash the newest available soft for my RAZR it didn't want to flash (it was stopping at 1st step - when using RSD Lite, but when I used EPRJ flashing method, after reboot phone couldn't find any files copied to it's cache or something). Right now my battery is too low and I guess the only option is to make a factory cable, because it won't even charge.
And factory reset doesn't change anything: still the Motorola logo appears and then the phone turns off and sometimes reboots.
Is there any way I could install system via install update from sd card option? Or the only thing I can do is to try to install clean Android via RSD or EPRJ?

Okay. I downloaded the british retail soft, we'll see if it works. But will this soft have Polish language?
And the second thing: is there any way to charge the phone when in my situation? When I plug in the charger, white led only flashes for a while and then the bootloop starts - motorola logo appears and that is all. I have also tried the method with pressing vol + and - for 10 seconds and again, but this didn't work either. The only exit here is to make factory cable, right?

It worked, thank God. Thanks for the advice, next time I'll be more careful with my RAZR
Greets!
But another problem suddenly appears - my battery won't charge over 40%. Tried turning it off, but it didn't work.
Edit: I have had 50%, now I have 60. It looks like it's going up and changes after 10%. We'll see if it manage to charge up 100% battery.
Edit2: Okay, it fully charged. Thank's again mate for tips

Exactly what happened to me.. I sent it over to my ISP and they fixed it..
I couldn't even get to recovery menu or AP fastboot. It was soft bricked so hard it only showed the motorola logo and then the safestrap upper screen for brief second before shutting down.
Do not install 3.73 or later version since they are broken and will brick your phone eventually.. this has happened 3 times already.

Can you get to fastboot? (Powerkey + volume up + volume down)
If so, you can use RSD lite and unbrick the device. I couldn't get there due safestrap flashing it's upper screen for second before shutdown signal though..

bricked RAZR XT910
Hi Guys,
Bricked my device trying to root it & add CMW
Tried factory wipe & reset but still no good.
Anyways, tried RSDlite 6.1.5 & appropriate ROMs from OPTUS but they get stuck @ "cdt.bin_signed " failed (step 6)
Apparently, there is a manual way of doing this
see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483999
but can't find webtop signed
also 01.6.5.1-73 & 80 for Australia doesn't exist
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks
