Where is the best place to get a spare battery for my PDA2K in the UK?
Also, does it have a 'backup' battery like my 2210 had? How long will I have if I take my main battery out before I replace it with another one?
we have 2x genuine batteries for the PDA2K XDA2s, we also have 3x dektop stands 2x 2amp mains adapters, and about 6 stylus all new and unused with soon changed the XDA2i so never got to use any of the 2s spairs we got
John

Hi,
I do not like the battery life of my HTC TD2 and want to buy spare battery.
However on the HTC site only spare battery is provided without additional charger.
On the other hand is mother Ebay. $20 for charger +2 batteries + screen cover.
(Yes, I know it is quite suspicous regarding the price. But guys, do you think that these powersellers will sell something so untested...)
Has anyone tried such cheap batteries from ebay?
Or has anyone tried this set??
I had a look at past posts but unable to find a dedicated charger (not car) that can charge this as good as stock. Does anyone know of one that can or how to get a hold of more stock chargers?
Office Depot Has the Asus charger with cable for $30

His location is Hong Kong.
Seriously Frys had 8 of them sitting on the shelf when I was there this morning in Austin TX
Check out this thread for ways to make yourself an alternative charger .....most parts can be got on ebay or I know my barrel-usb cable-connector is shipping from Hong Kong

Does anyone have a link for these real asus chargers?

I found a 15v charger for less than $4 USD, which requires an adapter cable costing $3 USD, costs include shipping. I ordered both from China and when they arrive I will post pics. This charger is within 20% as good as the stock charger, e.g. 1000ma vs 1200ma.
The stock chargers are great, but they are unfortunately MORE proprietary than the 40 pin cables. Our ONLY source for stock chargers with be ASUS for a LONG TIME. Maybe no one else noticed on shop.asus.co.uk, but the price of the AC Adapter AND 40 pin cable, with EURO and UK plugs, dropped to £25 today.
Good luck.
Do they actually have car chargers thats strong enough to charge a tablet?

Strange, I ordered a couple from Frys on the web. They said IN STOCK, but after my order was placed the status became BACK ORDERED. I cancelled today. I think Frys stores are worth a look, but not their website at the moment.

Youd be getting bent over. At least in Atlanta retailers are getting them in stock and there are few online sources selling them at $30.
I got one from here:
http://www.excaliberpc.com/606705/asus-transformer-tf101-ac-adapter.html
The only issue is shipping them to China, I dont know if he has a closer source (one would think so since everything is made in Asia).

One of the posters here (epsi? can not remember name exactly) got the cables in China at the ASUS factory for $15 each. But, I do not know where in China.

29.99 bought 2 of them
Think I'm gonna have to order one from the UK store. My charger is about to stop o=working completely as the face part of the plug keeps coming off. I have no idea why this is as I have not mis-treated it in any way. Would Asus cover this under warranty perhaps? I put this down to poor construction of the charger plug.
After 2 months, my charging cable died. Where should I look to buy a new one?
eBay. $15-19.
3ft is not OEM, 5ft is actual Asus OEM.
Dont know where you live, but I got an extra one so I have one for home and one for office from MicroCenter.
Like $5 for an OEM Samsung charger and cable on Amazon
Edit: wrong forum sorry.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
Got mine at Office Depot. $29.95
Office depot is where I got mine as well. They do not differentiate between the original tranformer and the Prime charger since they are the same thing. It's just called an eee pad charger or something like that.
got mine at microcenter. $30 my tracking cable plug that goes into the tablet almost burned everything inside. The plastic was even melted from the plug, thanx got that it did not damage anything only the cable itself.
I ordered these batteries and they seem to work just fine. I have no complaints especially since the 2 batteries and external wall charger cost only 10.99 with free shipping. It did take 2 weeks to get but who can complain at that price . i bought them off of eBay
The sellers name was: tuttoit
