Hard to just go to some app thread and say "its great", instead of posting an pointless thread?

Sorry, but you could have posted something usefull instead of spamming.
A lot of these threads are appearing here, such people should get warned or banned for a week. Might be rude, but we should try stop spamming.

ohh my god..!! ( in janice style)...hahahahah
is this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14174433#post14174433 in the right location, seems i get tons of views and replies to a "bad post", but when i posted a serious question where i'm confused on i get tons of views and no replies. Am i posting in the wrong place ? And if
XPERIA X10 Q&A is wrong place for this question can you just point a newb in the right direction, kinda hard to not be a newb when you are one.
Hi,
I have been searching the forum for ATT Official 2.3.4 stock ROM. I am new to Android and planning to put in a Custom ROM in my SGS2. But before I do that, I wanted to have the Official ATT 2.3.4 ROM so that in case any issues I can flash that back. Also I did read about keeping the flash counter intact. I primarily want to be prepared before I start with it. Please share if there is a link available.
Thanks
Seriously? The Development forum is only 4 pages long and you're too lazy to even skim thread titles there?
I suggest you go back and read the XDA rules again. Search before posting.

I was looking through the development forum as well and did find out there were some ROMs which were already rooted. I was looking for a unrooted ROM and maybe would have missed when I was looking through. That does not mean I am lazy... I am new here and did ask for help after trying!

Your reactive comment is really uncalled for. People are here to help, and they do not get paid to be here, but some find it a little tiring when people appear to ask questions before they even look for the answer.
I understand that to a new person, sometimes you don't even have a point of reference to know what you are looking for. What you need can be found in the development forum as "Unbrick/return to stock by Entropy512."
Also refer to the sticky topic "Library" in the development section, and the sticky topic "FAQ" in the general section.
Edit: OK I see you removed your reactive comment, so I removed it from the quote also.
My bad..sorry about the reactive comment.
I am a new user to Android and just moved from iPhone. I do appreciate the DEVS work and understand it is an extra responsibility for you.
I had rooted and unlocked my SGS2 but being extra cautious not to brick it when flashing the ROM. I maybe should have read through all the posts irrespective of the title
Thanks Guys.. I got the thread.. I will pick it up from there
do you have the link for official stock rom that you found?

You really need to look around. There's a sticky post in the development section. Also study the links in my signature.
Why are people here so rude with noobs, jesshh. Can you just politely let the person know to do a search before posting and also provide the freaking link, since you people are so much of an expert in the forum right...
btw.. Welcome to the forum ramnathan.r, not everybody is so rude in here

If we spoonfed every new person that comes here to XDA we wouldn't have enough room for actual development dude. So what you are suggestion is basically ridiculous. I want to come here for development. Not a bunch of links and "how to" posts. Searching is a good thing.

I tried searching, but a lot of times, its confusing on which Rom is actually the stock version which would return everything as before.
I looked at restoring the phone thread and couple of others which also say they are stock rom, hence the confusion.
There is no point in fighting. I got my answer, so its ok if people got mad at me for asking a question. They will forget about it in a couple of hours, and I will try to search a little more next time.

LOL
This thread is getting funny, not because of the OP's question but 'cuz of the resurrection.
Instead of making a new thread for each ROM which you share from other sites, why don't you guys post all the roms in this thread.
That way the thread forum will remain clean. If users want this can be stickied later.

If there is then why are people making new threads?
Well anyways.

I do think so because you are just sharing them. They are not developed by you.

I said so because all these are just shared roms.
If you are developing and posting them feel free to create as many threads as you like.

same difference as his roms
instead of doing this things and blaming each others post a link to the forum itself [instead of rom]..
users will find chinese stuffs through google translating.. stop blamegame
no one is going to admit own mistakes

I think posting roms in 1 thread is useless and hard to find. becoz after posting a rom there will be flooding comments. its hard to find roms in the correct pages.
diffrent threads is much better.
Can someone explain CLEARLY how to clear it back to 0 so I can use odin and flash back to stock, it keeps showing 1 count after using it
Thanks Kev
Anyone?

What is wrong with all the posts on the subject or the TA thread itself .
How about reading the actual TA instructions during the flash relevant to your problem .
I flash to zero so only know what's been posted .

Hello,
Maybe developers should add in their threads on the development sections if their rom/kernel/etc has the fix for the sudden death issue?
They could but anyway most are always using the most up to date versions, hence sds proof. Furthermore there is rootSU very informative thread.

Problem is that in the last six months their is a vast increase in users bricking phones losing IMEI etc

Yep, and its solely because people refuse to educate themselves, it really has become a case of 'please hold my hand and walk me through everything'
I will never understand why people come to a developer forum and complain about stuff like this
Its pretty obvious the op doesn't actually understand the issue with sds

I'm pretty sure developers don't develop all these roms just to other developers, right?
maybe I really don't understand the issue (I am not a developer) but only the official Samsung firmware released the fix, (and CM too?), maybe many others still use firmware that is old and not fixed?
read the SDS thread

Read my thread about the sds fix that you've already been linked to in this thread. It tells you what has the fix.
Anything current has the fix anyway. Just stay away from old stuff. The fix has been known by developers since January 9th
