Hey guys,
I rooted my Atrix (Bell) with gingerbreak, and have no problems for weeks.
Today, my phone randomly vibrated, shut off, and is now constantly rebooting.
It goes into a "nandroid" menu with several options, I don't have a camera to take a picture of it unfortunately.
Any ideas as to what is going on, or what my next step should be?

Forgive my if I'm posting this in the wrong section. I have looked at the board and have found some issues similar to mine but not exactly....
I rooted my Samsung Galaxy over a year ago through a one click PC app. About two months ago whenever I tried turning on my phone it would get just past the password screen but as it was "scanning internal memory" it vibrated four times and the screen went black (the four lights at the bottom stayed on). Then it restarts itself and does the same thing over and over and over again.
I had tried rebooting it, taking the battery out, safe mode, etc. Nothing worked. I just kept turning it on and off and after doing this for about 24 hours straight it finally came on and it was fine UNTIL yesterday. I have tried for hours turning it on and off like last time but its not helping. Can someone please advise me on what to do? I have some very important medical information regarding my little girl.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Couple of days back I factory reset my galaxy s3 on 4.1.1. I set up everything and today whilst using instagram the phone started flickering and shut down. When I put the phone back a couple of times it froze. Can someone help???
My Samsung Stratosphere turned itself off sometime and now is rebooting to the Samsung logo, and then turning back off, and rebooting (a couple times earlier it booted to the main android menu, but turned back off immediately afterwards) and when I plugged it into the charger it acts like it's charging and then turns off and acts like it's charging and over and over again, even when the battery indicates that it's at more than half full.
Does anyone know what's happening? (no custom ROMs or anything, it's all standard btw). I took the battery out and everything and it still does the same thing when I put it back. I tried to do a factory reset, but the recovery mode screen always jumps away when I try to activate it (I press both Vol+ and Vol-, recovery mode screen comes up but goes instantly, then the phone goes into a boot loop again).
Please help, thank you!

Hi, I'd recommend sending the phone into warranty, add the phone isn't rooted, you can't do much.
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
Had same problem on 3 phones. This is a connection problem within the phone. Disassembly & cleaning contacts often helps for a while, but problem comes back. Bumping the phone on the side or top, often allows it to work properly, for a short while, and so does squeezing it, in certain places. Get a new one, since the problem will re-cur.
After having the origional HTC Amaze i purchased sent back to TMobile due to my WiFi not working, they sent me a referbished one. 3-5 days ago my phone began to shut off at random times. But tonight it shut off, and when I went to turn it back on, it vibrated like it should but the screen stay black (No Tmobile splash or anything). I proceeded to remove the battery for 30 seconds (counting by mississippi's) and reinserted the battery. Again, it vibrated like it would turn on, yet the screen stayed black. I retried this process multiple times to no avail. I read on another thread that i should plug it in for 30-45 minutes incase the battery is dead. Upon plugging it in, the charge light booted orange like it should, but went out and the phone will vibrate like its booting, pause for 60 seconds and vibrate again.
I tried to factory reset it (Hold down the volume down key and press the power button) And it again stayed black and vibrated like it was trying to turn on, but the screen stayed black.
Im not worried about anything on the phone being lost or destroyed. I never tried to root it or anything, i just put music on it.
If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

How long ago did you send it to tmo for the replacement? I would just send it in for another replacement if you are still within the time frame. If you never rooted it or modified it then it has to be a hardware problem or maybe try a different battery
Maybe 3 months ago? I don't have insurance but the funny thing is, it started happening when i downloaded a software update

If the device wont turn on, there is really no troubleshooting you can do besides trying a different battery. Call t-mobile and if they won't help you call htc directly, they have a 1 year limited warranty (i think it cant have any physical damage like its been dropped or anything)
hi all,
i have a very unusual freezing problem that is driving me nuts. i have read loads of posts about people using dummy file generator, clearing defaults, factory resetting etc. but my problem remains after all of the above.
here is what happens with my device.
device is galaxy s3(gt-i9300)
running stock vodafone branded but open to all networks 4.3
baseband i9300buugnf1
build number jss15j.i9300xxugnh4
the problem started back in october last year. the screen would freeze and the only way of getting it back would be to hold the power button in for about 10 secs, or pulling the battery. i tried leaving it overnight to see if it would unfreeze itself, but no joy.
this was just occasionally to start off with, but has now become too frequent to allow the phone to be usable. sometimes the phone would go for about 20 mins without a freeze, but other times it would freeze after just a couple of mins.
sometimes, when i reboot the device, it freezes on the samsung logo, but the logo still pulsates as if it is still booting up. but never does. it also freezes when turned off and charging. i have to hold the power button in for about 10 secs again to get it to start up.
the phone is out of warranty. i did have a problem with the phone over a year ago and sent it away to samsung, where they changed the motherboard as it was force closing all my apps. but just after a year of it working perfectly, this happens. it seems samsung have put a self destruct timer on their devices. lol.
has anyone had the same sort of problems, if so did you manage to fix the problem?
any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
