Anyone know how to get Caulkin/Clemsyn Froyo Rom to recognize music on the internal sd card? It seems to only scan the external card, even if their isn't one present.
Anyone??
Anyone? I'm sure this problem isn't exclusive to the Caulkin/Clemsyn combo.

I have a sandisk 32gb card. It works great on other roms. When i put it on miui (revamped 7.1) it gives me an error and asks me to reformat or it says "sd card free to remove"... Whenever i put it in my phone i need to reformat the card for the computer to use it as well...
I tried creating the external_sd directory.. but the problam is that the card just gets destroyed everytime i put it in and i have to reformat. Any ideas??
what bootloaders do u use?the revamped use froyo boatloader..
u can try flash froyo boatloader and then flash revamped room
i have froyo... changed before i installed revamped.
any other ideas? i love miui dont want to uninstall
plzzzzzz is anyone else having problems?
plz help i dunno what to do
hmm weird was pretty sure spec wise the galaxy S series of phones only supported a max external card of 16GB, yet your saying it showed up properly and you were able to use it to full capacity with other roms?
only thought i have is that the hardware and software between miui and the vibrant are conflicting and that why the card is crashing on you. Remember that Miui is based on CM7 which in turn i believe is based on the Nexus S. that is most likely your issue seeing as the Nexus S carries no External Memory expansion (which is why our external cards read as A folder in the internal card.) but if you have a 16GB card use that. they work.
ok just double checked external support class 8 Micro Sd 32GB
again most likely an issue related to CM7 and Miui frameworks.
I got same problem with my 8gig Se card.. but it never tells me to format.. it just tells its safe to remove, and cant see any files in "External Sd" or "Emmc"

Edit: I didn't read the op fully, nvm.
When I got my X2, the first thing I did was insert a 16GB SD card (then loaded some files/folders I had backed up, such as apk's) I noticed when I installed ROM Manager (Still don't know why I did that, but...led to something) that when I went to "Install from SD" that ROM manager was seeing my internal memory, not my SD card. So...I just uninstalled ROM manager, thinking it a fluke. Well, I've noticed now that...say if I'm editing an icon and am looking for a picture, or I'm looking for a file in general, my X2 is saying my SD card is my Internal Storage and vice versa. Issue occurs on stock ROM, Eclipse, Atrix port, so I know it's not my ROM.
Any thoughts?
im looking for a similar solution. everything saves to the internal memory instead of the sd card. apps that are supposed to back up stuff to the sd card just do it to the internal memory. i can access the sd card from the phone so it reconizes the sd card. i asssumed it was an OS bug, but its still going on after gingerbread. really need help with this.
If you are running a current version of ATRIX port, alien or eclipse they all have the sd card flip-flop preinstalled on them. There is a thread in android dev subforum with a zip to go back. The stock x2 labels the storage in a different way I guess and the developers prefer to change it. We are just lucky they left a way to change it back.

Click to collapse
This is the reason they made the hack to change it in the first place.

The subject says it all.
When I copy to/from my SD card, it's faster then when I transfer to/from internal storage via USB.
Is it supposed to be that way? I'm running Eclipse v0.7 but it's always happened even while on Stock 2.2 and Stock 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
Is there a defect in my phone?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm using the 8GB class 4 SD Card that came with the phone.
Hi,
Running CM7 on my Galaxy SII.
I was running the 'stable' version of CM7 but decided to give the the 'experimental' version a try.
Now, it looks as if the paths to the external and internal SD cards are switched. For example, when I open my gallery, it only recognizes pics on my external card.
Of course I made a Nandroid backup before I flashed to experimental, so everything is back to normal now, but I'm just curious as to what might cause this, and how to solve it.
Any ideas?
Since upgrading to lollipop I notice my apps automatically move from being stored on the SD card to the phone all by itself. Has anyone else experience this problem and/or know how to fix it?
Thanks!
