On camera ui, just press menu, then choice "advanced options", flashlight, turn on. When you back to ui, the flashlight its on.

Also on Wolf's GB V3.7.
The stock cam app in fact has no flash light as you normaly expect. There in the menu you only have the choice between ON and OFF. If you set it ON, it is always on as long as the camera is on, not only while pressing the shutter button.
The torch apps work for me without any probs. Xperia arc flashlight is the one I'm useing.

Hi all,
When taking close up photos using my x10, it focuses correctly but then looses focus and takes a blurry photo. Is there any way I can stop it from doing this? I have tried various settings but nothing seems to do the trick.
Thanks in advance

So freakin annoying

I had this same issue soon after I got my X10 (brand new).
I had installed a lot of task killers (like most new android users!), and some camera apps like Camera360.
My X10 now focuses perfectly, I did:
- Removed task killers
- Removed juice defender
- Turned on touch-to-capture in standard camera app
- Started using Vignette
And somewhere along the line the above fixed it.
Well I use battery boost, and Advanced Task Killer Pro, but I have turned the 'Touch to capture' feature on and it seems to do the trick, just not alot of the time
Thanks anyway

Maybe it's a ram problem. Download advanced task killer or some other task killer, and kill everything... See if you can then initiate the camera.

Try rebooting the phone or reflash rom

my reboot choice screen is also different, only reboot and shutdown are the only points there anymore...
reflash... ok.... but there must be a cause for that ...

Maybe the problem is a recently installed app that causes it.
I was wondering if i can enable camera LED light when i am recording video. Is there some way to do it? Help, i need it!
You never mentioned what phone you have or anything? On the GSII this is possible.
Ah sorry i forgot. I had SGA(samsng galaxy ace) with CM 7.1(RC2.2), so is it posibble somehow to activate some flashlight app and then to go to video and recording with LED on? thx in advice
install a torch app, turn it on first

That won't work, as it is not possible in most cases for two applications to use the camera at the same time.

It's too easy to do this!! Just download lgCamera and tapping on flash button while in video mode you can easily turn your flash on like a torch!
What arturo said, or try mapping the action as a hold on a physical button.

Hi guys,
I recently used this flashlight app and played a bit with the strobe mode. After launching the camera app, the flash flickers (like when it did in the strobe mode of flashlight app) when clicking a photo which never happened before!
I tried clearing the data of the camera app as well as uninstalling the flashlight app. Also, I did a full factory reset but the camera flash flickers in the same way. I dont understand what to do.
Will re-flashing the ROM solve the problem? Where can I find the stock ROM for Micromax A116i. Please link me to a guide if there is any. Any solutions will be appreciated.
Thanks!
Use mere rom by megatron.....it has an included flashlight....pls flasg that
