My corporate email is set up via Activesync. I have subfolders within my inbox. Activesync has set up some strange folder names and made some duplicate folders. I can't delete the folders.
When I moved all the subfolders from the computer server side, Activesync doesn't update the changes on the SGS2.
How can I edit or delete these folders on my phone?
I've deleted my email account and added it again. That didn't work. I even reset the phone, that didn't work. Does activesync have a file on the server?
Hasn't happened with me so far, got 2 subfolders for my inbox and both have replicated fine :S
Removing the account should remove everything but if it doesn't a factory reset will

Hi.
I have all my emails on my XDA in Activesync inbox but my computer died and i lost them all off my PC. Is it possible for the XDA to send the emails back to the computer? Ive tried it a couple of times and it just deletes them all from my XDA! (Thank god for backups!!).
I really don't want to lose all 526 emails :-(.
Any suggestions?
Graham
I join this call!
I work with pcc 2002.
1. Recently I tried to synchronize wiht Outlook 2000. I checked the 'inbox', so the inbox, sent items, drafts,... should be synchronized, but only the inbox synched. After that I put the mails in 'sent items' in a new folder in the pc and instructed active sync to synchronize with that new folder, but it didn't work either. I created a new folder with mails from the inbox and that did synhronize. After that I instructed active sync not to synhronize with the inbox and the new folders and deleted the mails on the xda in order to clean up. After instructing act.sync. to synchronize the inbox again to see if the 'sent box' would be synched, all the inbox-mails were deleted of course (I had the backup!), but the sent items were again not synchronized.
2. Also some attachments could not be synchronized and there is no way of knowing of which mails.
3. Isn't there a way to have the mails, contacts and appointments stored on the SD-Card to save main memory?
4. Isn't it possible to have a folder synchronising files on the sd-card with files on somewhere on the harddisk of the pc?
5. Is there a good manual somewhere about safe synchronizing and troubleshooting it?
I would be very gratefull to get some answers to these questions

I know how to set up my gmail inbox working with outlook but how do i get my folders working? for example i have certain emails in my saved folder, but it's always empty.
one solution is to get Gmail for mobile - separate app in java, works ok under jblend, folders supported
In you Gmail settings via your computer, is your settings/Forwarding and pop/imap on?
There are configuration settings for other mail handlers in there too.
When you go to the mobile and you are at the mail (No Mail etc) on the Gmail click on the in box, then menu, send receive. This will then pull in all the folders that you are showing on the computer Gmail. So they are now on the mobile.
Folders
I cant view email in folders either, I have IMAP switched on and I have filters which skip my inbox to sort email but only my inbox mail is visible - I can see my folders but they are empty....
Any solutions?
Cheers!

Same with activesync or imap - folders all show, but only inbox contains emails. If I move an email to another folder it correctly moves it in gmail, but as soon as sync'd disappears from folder on phone. Would be good to see all emails, but I assume this is specifically blocked (to avoid you accidentally downloading 7GB of emails to phone!)
Is there a way or setting to also delete an email from the server, when deleting it on the device. I do not want to remove all emails from the server when downloading, just the option to delete it before I get multiple email on my PC.
I am using a Galaxy Note II on Verizon running stock 4.1.2. I have my corporate (exchange) email configured on my phone. Our exchange is hosted by Microsoft (Office 365).
I have an issue where messages that are moved out of my Inbox via Outlook get stuck in my Inbox on Android. In Outlook I mark these messages as read and move them to another folder that is still on the exchange server. Both Outlook on the Desktop and the Outlook.com web client show these messages in their correct state (read, in folder). On my phone they remain in my Inbox, unread. It appears that I can mark them read on my phone and that status will be retained but if I try to "move" them on the phone they reappear back in the Inbox.
No amount of syncing will make them move. The only way I've found to get the Inbox to full resync with the server is to delete the account and re-create it.
Any ideas/suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks
Anyone tried using hotmail in the new gmail app? The default folder for deleted messages in hotmail is "deleted", while that for the gmail app is "trash". After setting up the account, both folders appeared in the app. When i delete a message from the inbox, that message goes to the "trash" folder instead of the "deleted" folder. Is there a way to merge the two folders? i have tried looking for some settings on the hotmail website and it seems i can't change the default folder names.
