So I called Sprint to complain about the silent calls and apparently they haven't received any complaints related with this so it hasn't been brought to there attention. We should all call Sprint at least the few that still have the problem and report this so they can release a fix.

Not that I don't believe you but I think the person you talked to just isn't informed or lying. There are discussions in the official Sprint forums about this issue and I've talked to someone who works at one of the local repair centers and Sprint is aware of this issue.

I read somewhere that is you call Sprint and ask them to send you the OTA, they can send it to you. But the rep I talked to said they don't have the ability to force OTA's from HTC. My question is, which one has the ability to force an OTA if I call them and ask?

If anyone, I'd imagine it would be Sprint. I doubt they are sitting on some OTA though.

Whomever you call, can, push an update to your phone. I read it here on XDA, that guys were calling up Sprint, or HTC to have them do it. I just can't find the thread anywhere for the life of me.

I'm running the latest OTA (ends in 5) and been using it for about 2 weeks. First day I realized missing texts. Flashed the previous radio and it seemed to fix it.
But now all of a sudden I have the problem again. Anyone else having problems? Especially in the Chicago area? I did hear this was a problem with the update in general but making sure it's not a service problem here.

I haven't had that issue. Have you tried to call sprint and see if it is a local network problem?
Ive had the same problem starting yesterday, Im in New York City
Thanks for the replies. It seems to have just started in the last 2 days or so for me too and, I didn't call them yet. I think I will tomorrow if it persists.
OK, called. They couldn't really tell me anything...

Yes, I've updated prl and profile prior to posting - sorry, i should have mentioned my troubleshooting.
However, the issue is resolved, or so I think. Haven't really done much texting lately to be for sure. Had to get a hold of sprint again and they pushed something to reset the function. Honestly, the other person on my share plan called and had them do it so I don't know exactly what was done. He had the same problem too. It was working after he told me, but just haven't done much beyond that yet.
I've had the same problems in Denver, although I think it may be a service issue.

I've had the same troubles on and off for a couple of weeks. Sprint had something posted saying it was network troubles.
So since I've rooted and started flashing roms sms has been going crazy. Around midnight every night I have to reboot my phone because no phone calls will come in and no sms will come in outgoing works fine.
And the. When they do work I get each message about six times or more.
I use the stock sms and popup 7 and am running pkmn ROM any suggestions?

I had similar issues, and narrowed them down to my Airave. When I turn it off, the problem goes away (but reception gets worse, obviously).
Do you have an Airave in your house by chance?
This happened to me earlier this week. I had to exchange phones. Something must be going on!. Sprint could not fix it. I had to call my voice mail to get all my texts and calls to come in.!
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
I also had this issue, but it looks like it's my airave. Right now I can get text, but can't send any out while within range of my airave, unless I send it through Google voice. I think the signal emitted by the airave conflicts with the EVOLTEs antenna.

Glad to see I'm not the only one...its to late for me to exchange though

I ended up calling Sprint on that. The 2nd level tech said that Airave has been having issues on and off for a while, and they've been updating firmware on it pretty often, but he hasn't seen an improvement yet.
He had reset my Airave from his side (it does more than me hitting reset, according to him), and so far I'm not having this issue any more.
Well its been fine so far today after a couple of resets last night. I don't have an airave so I dont think that's my issue...hmmm

Maybe it's your network.... Maybe sprint is doing upgrades in your area.... Or they just have some issues in your area.

Has anyone else tried to purchase an app in the last couple of days using Carrier billing in Google Play? I have tried the last couple of days and while it shows my Sprint account when I goto pay, it won't let me select it. It is greyed out and all I can use is one of my credit cards that have been saved.
I am wondering if this has something to do with Google Wallet being broken on the Lte? Anyone else having this issue? I was going to call Sprint on my lunch break and see what they had to offer as well.

Used it on sunday, if that helps.

Well just got off the phone with Sprint. First it was supposedly on Google's end so I asked to speak with someone else. Next tech initially said that they no longer allow carrier billing and it stopped about three months ago. When I explained that I just used it over the weekend and that Sprint had just recently announced a partnership with Google Play for all store items she seemed confused and put me on hold. Then came back and said that my bill was behind so Google turned it off??? Next I informed her that actually my account is over paid by $80 she was even more upset and flustered. I thought she put me on hold again but she had just hung up on me. In the end she must have cleared my account as the apps I was trying to purchase I was able to.
Talk about horrible service and way to make sure your tech support team is well trained Sprint. What a joke...

Just worked for me.
Worked for me (saturday), probably an error.
The only thing I can't bill to the account is phones, tablets & portable hotspots. Apps & Accessories are fine.

I just looked, and it let me purchase music, and apps and bill sprint.
From my own experience. Not everything can be put on ur phone bill. Music has to be paid with a credit card

My account was showing past due as well last month, when it clearly wasn't. I called in and they couldn't explain it either, but I got good service on the phone. My phone rep was very helpful and was going to call and follow up next month to make sure I wasn't charged anything extra.
To bring up an old subject, the other day I tried to buy an App. I kept getting an error, so I cleared the cache for the Play Store. and now I don't even have an obtion to bill to carrier. Any ideas?

It could be a Rom issue I know in the past I wasn't able to on certain roms. I haven't tried in a while but I did purchase some songs a few weeks ago. I believe I was on one of the earlier builds of meanbean. Try doing a back up and flashing a stock rom.

I have carrier billing. Always did. I heard a rumor if you don't pay your bill on time the option gets removed till you make a few consecutive payments on time. At least that's what a sprint Rep told my sister when she called to complain about not having the option.
I posted screenshots earlier today on another post regarding this matter showing I have the option. I'm never late on bills or ever have been so maybe that's why.

Called Sprint Tech Services regarding my lack of receiving phone calls (straight to vm). He tried getting me to do dialer codes, changing my MSID, etc. No-luck. I'm using a loaner phone from Best Buy right now, so the phone is obviously not the issue. He said the sprint vision may be an issue, but I told him my other line (OG Evo) works just fine. Any ideas?
Sent from my SPH-L300 using xda app-developers app
Call back and get a different person.
Explain your OG EVO is working.
But the phone may very well be the issue considering it is a loaner. If the next tech you reach can't get it working go to best buy and tell them the loaner isnt working and let them try and get it to work. If they can't get it get different phone. Don't leave best buy till you know it works.

So, went to Sprint Corporate store today to fix my no incoming call issue. They tried evetything u could think of. Dialer codes, resets, clearing and SOC's, u name it. It was not working. Five techs and a sales consultant. They called into their tech people, and nothing. At the end, the sales consultant turned off 4g, re-provisioned on 3g, and it works. Hour and a half later, I can receive calls.

The Techs are some snobby asses at that stores. They acted like they did not want to do their jobs. The sales guy tried telling them to do this and that, and the Tech guys were like "do it yourself if ur so smart". It was kinda embarassing.
