I'm using Trigger 2.3.5 08/16 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156123
When using AIO Vibrant Toolbox to flash my device to stock rom, this sofware always notice "USB Debugging is disable", although i enable it in Setting-> application -> development, and i can't go to download mode
What's happen ??
I'm having the same exact problem as well. Anyone have any idea why this is happening??

ok last week i had to reflash via odin to stock due to ryanza oclf getting screwed up when i was trying to disable it. now when i plug my phone into my computer inkies mode it starts trying to install drivers.
i get this message:
Samsung Android USB Composite Device - Ready to use
Samsung Android USB modem - Ready to use
MTP Device - searching precofigured driver folders
and it just keeps trying too search until it asks me about manually finding the drivers. is there a way to fix this, because kies mini will not recognize my phone now?
bump, someone must know.

Hi everyone,
My dad has recently got a Galaxy Ace and I've been trying to update the firmware from Froyo to Gingerbread with Kies. the problem is I can find no option in the settings to set the USB connection mode to "PC Suite". I've looked through every sub-menu and can't find anything, nor is the instruction manual any help. The phone will only connect in mass-storage...
Any ideas? and thanks in advance!
Rob
Try connecting phone to the PC without doing anything else.

Is the USB debugging mode enabled?
Menu - Settings - Applications - Development - USB Debugging..
It should work then..!
Thank you both!
I tried a combination of both and it works!

I used to have the inParis rom (i use galaxyhacks.com to get my rom updates) and i recently upgraded to Galaxy Task 9 and 10 (currently 10 but did same problem in both) and cannot get into usb debugging mode. I can checkmark the box under Applications --> Development --> x next to "Usb Debugging" but the tablet will not go into that mode. it always goes to MTP application to transfer files no matter what. How can i force this option? Does the dev of this rom know this is a problem?
(I would have posted there but there is a rule about new users posting in dev thread, in fear of this question being asked, yet i doubt it has or has been solved)
How can i restore usb debugging?
[Please close thread, solved]
[In this rom, the icon was disabled, but i was not notified via changelog]

had same problem, couldn't figure it out and I believe I screwed my phone due to stupidity
Try installing ICS Passion (or CM7) over your current ROM. If that doesn't work, it could be a hardware issue. If you can at least get to CWR, then install a ROM that doesn't require proprietary drivers to connect to your PC.

try putting it in recovery
Hi.
I have rooted and flashed a ROM (smoother bean) and this tablet works just fine. But I have a problem: When I plug my gtab to my PC it recognizes the device but has a little yellow triangle with exclamation mark which means I cannot access my files through my computer. Is there a way to fix this? OR Do I have to nvflash again?
Thanks for the help in advance!!! cheers
Try settings > Developer options > and check USB debugging notify.
My 2 cents
