Question about google lattitude

I know this doesn't only pertain to the vibrant but since I have I've I figured I would ask it here.
When I go into google lattitude there is a option where you can choose real time updating but it says my friends phone doesn't support it and she also has a vibrant. So what does this mean and what phones support this feature?

Wrong section.
No idea though about your question lol
Someone will get it sooner or later us cappy users have it through a i9000 kernel and from what I understand that isnt needed u could just change your build.prop to mimic that of the phones that are "ACCEPTED FOR USE"! I recall seeing a thread on this somewhere but im sure you know how to use the search function so good luck!

Nope... It's 2 parts. Stagefright AND an appropriate build.prop

Bell Mobile TV

Does this app only with with stock firmware? Can anyone confirm that you can still root and run an OC kernel on the stock firmware and this app will still work?
It should work if you're still using bell rom and modem

Maybe Edit Build prop ?
I know for Rogers I had to edit the build prop to get access to their tv programming. Not too sure about Bell though.
Funny Ive asked the same question in the past, and still no answer. I'm rooted and tinkering. I personally would like to use a custom rom and figure out how to get bell mobile tv to work. stock is nice but boring. lol
I honesty don't think its possible for this to work on CM9 at this point. I got it to work once by modifying the build.prop model name and flashing a Bell modem on my old SGS2. The same method does not work on the Note. The closest I have come is a message that says "mobile TV coming to your device soon" which means nothing to me. Anyone know how the product model is listed in the stock ICS Bell ROM? I'm guessing its SGH-I717M but I could be wrong, this is what I have modified my build.prop to (as you can see from my sig) yet still no luck. Would like to set this up as it would be nice to check out the Olympics while I'm at work

I would be happy if it would work on any custom rom. Cm9 is nice but stock is boring as hell. Would be sweet ass if someone could cook a bell custom rom. I would if i knew how and had the time.

Safestrap

I've seen some discussion on the other forums (Bionic, Razr) that talked about "safestrap" to flash roms. Is this something that could be applied to the Photon/Electrify?
Sent from my MB855 using xda app-developers app
If you meant to say "Bootstrap", you can use it on Photon and Electrify.
No, "Safestrap". It allows one to "hi-jack" the bootloader, and allow for different kernels (ICS, JB, etc) to be ran. There is also mention of any "1st" system and "2nd" system.
From the RAZR forums:

Sorry, I didn't know what you were talking about but now I understand. I tried to find but there's no version for us yet. It's a nice thing and it would be very good if someone develops a version for the Sunfire!
