I'm confused on what you are asking as well, but I'll answer what I Think you are asking. go to www.junefabrics.com go to the android part of the site. It's PDAnet. Works like a charm. I have used it to run my main machine at home and I use it daily to run my laptop at work. You have to download software for your computer as well as the app for your DX2.
This also works for wireless without being charged. Wifi Tether App I use this if I am watching a movie via HDMI and cant connect with PDAnet.

Thanks. I have given up on the wireless tether, so now I'm wondering about a (free) way to use usb somehow.

Ah, free. That explains it, because the X2 from Verizon should have come with Mobile Hotspot, which would do what you want but is definitely not free. Careful with easytether, though. You might find an additional $20 charge on your next bill if Verizon notices (charge for tethering). Mobile Hotspot costs $20/mo., but you can the feature on and off depending on your needs (i.e., if there are months when you don't need it, turn it off in your account and save yourself some money).
Hey guys I was following a thread a few days ago that was posted about how unlimited data and now I can't find it I'm guessing the OP removed it for sum reason??
Anyone else can confirm this for me please.

By calling Verizon and add the hotspot feature then go online and drop it to get unlimited. I was going to try this but at one point in time my sons line had unlimited data so they just readded it to his line.

Looks like it's in the Bionic forum because it talks about the Bionic in the first sentence.

Probably so the trick doesn't get caught on to. Worked for me.was on the 10 gb plan for 119 a month.called in added unlimited hotspots and then canceled a few days later.unlimited stuck and now I'm paying 89 monthly
i did this awhile ago and it worked great for me it just took a couple of times.

Its gone because stupid sites like Gizmodo and AP along with others REPORTED IT. Of course VZ is going to catch on. Thanks assholes for ruining it for everyone. Now VZ is gonna go back and retro everyone back.

The Razr was the Verison flagship device and they put a lot of effort into selling them. GSM carriers have way more phones that they sell and i doubt they sold as good as the CDMA version so they are making the CDMA version first

Funny, I figured CDMA would land before GSM simply because the CDMA RAZR is a single-carrier flagship device, but there was all that hoo-ha a while back when Moto's update page said 'Planning and development'..

Has anyone used one? I have the opportunity to buy one, my friend at VZW ran the ESN/IMEI and it came back clean but he doesn't know if you have to be on a VZW employee plan, he thinks that you do.
Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Honestly have not a clue. I just figure they knew people would sell them since it's "limited edition." So it would be kinda dumb if you had to be an employee.

I would put my money on that in their databases when you activate it that it just shows up like a regular maxx and doesn't look special at all on their end. Just like the R2-D2 DROID 2 I had showed up as a regular DROID 2 on my account.

I have the xt912 M and used the root instructions and was successful! (YAY Thanks ALL!!!) I am trying to use this phone with another carrier than verizon, What should I do from here? Will rooting phone be enough or do I need a custom ROM before I can do this? I LOVE my phone and do not want to buy a different one if I don't have to. Sorry if these are stupid questions but today is my 1st attempt at cracking my phone open.

Carrier unlock is not possible for Droid Razr.
Though you can use it on GSM carriers but not in the US.
