Stop flaming CyanogenMOD and the team!!! - HTC EVO 3D

lately, as i've been reading about cm7, people have been flaming cm7, comparing it to other AOSP roms, or are concerned about what score they are going to get on cm7 vs *****'s rom.
STOP!
below i've pointed out a couple things that you should take the time to read, especially if you're flaming cm7.
1) cm7 will be supported for the EVO3D, it may take a while for GSM, but thats not stopping me from waiting. be patient! toast wouldn't release something that is utter crap just for him to get flamed by the noobs who are already ignorant enough to think cm7 is just a rom without sense.
2) cm7 may not have the highest scores, but who the hell cares about scores?! if your phone runs smoother and faster on cm7 but doesn't get amazing quad scores or linpack etc, why are you complaining? i dont know about you but when i show my friends my phone its about how fast it is and what it can do, not about a number that they might not even understand (especially if they use bb or iphone)
3) why is cm7 the only rom that is flamed so much? because either they seem to have forgotten to install or run a patch or install a kernel that does "x" feature and then they start complaining about it. the fact is the its probably YOUR OWN ignorance that is making cyanogen run like crap on your phone or not doing it what you want. so if something is working or broken, use the SEARCH button or ASK instead of flaming!
4) once CM7 comes, dont go posting its "BUGGY, THIS ROM SUCKS BECAUSE XXXX FEATURE IS BROKEN." If you don't like using NIGHTLIES then wait for an RC or a full release! nightlies are for people to test and REPORT not RANT about what problems need to be fixed.
5) cm7 is not a rom that is 'just' AOSP and a rom w/o sense. its much more, but if you're ignorant enough to think that, then you probably haven't explored android that much, or you really just dont know how much more usuable and cleaned up cm7 is compared to sense or other roms that may be out there. (not trying to explicitly bash other peoples roms)
6) stop complaining that some 'AOSP' rom on your old phone worked way better. "Oh 'xxxxxx' rom is so much better than cm7, why are they bothering to port cm7 when they should be porting 'xxxxxx' AOSP rom!!! "
maybe because 9 out of 10 AOSP roms that you got on your old phone were BASED OFF OF CM7. devs may write a kernel that is built specifically to get high scores, but may not be as efficient as you think in day to day use. OR maybe you didn't read the part where it says 'thanks to so and so' on the OP of that rom, but most devs that make AOSP roms either say that its a modified version of cm7 or they credit the cm7 team.
7) most importantly, the team and people of cm7 are DOING THIS ON THEIR OWN TIME. its not like they HAVE to do it for YOU. they're doing it because they choose to and they would like to share it with you. but its also you the people that make them want to smack their heads on their desks because you're so damn ungreatful for their work. they will update when they can so stop flaming them and saying they don't update; people have lives outside of cm7 and their phones.
even if we don't get a FULLY working cm7 port, its not like they didn't try, believe me they are trying to get it to work, but its not like you could do a better job, could you?
STOP FLAMING cm7 and STOP ASKING FOR IT. PEOPLE HAVE LIVES.
okay i'm done. sorry i just got mad at all the people bashing it in the recent threads about cm7.

because its annoying and garbage that people post about that isn't really productive towards anything. and because there are other people that think the same way but just don't bother to voice it. and its not my job, it is just pissing me off how some people are so ungrateful for what others do for them, and so i decided i would post about it.

It's attitudes like this that make me have no interest in deving of any kind and makes me wonder why devs do what they do.

And its people policing the threads that make the devs not want to come back here. If somebody is simply stating their opinion it shouldn't be a problem. But people attack others here for making opinions instead of agreeing to disagree.
I NEVER said I hate cm7 or I don't give a **** if it comes out. But honestly these threads are worse than the others. Really this topic is basically talking **** about **** that nobody cares about in other threads.
I'm not trying to offend anybody this is just my opinion. I would rather read threads in the EVO 3d section that have to do with the EVO 3d but hey that might be just me.

There's a difference between an opinion and whining/attacking devs....which is what a lot of people are doing on here.
And no, threads like this one, defending devs, is not causing devs to not come back here.
That's a pretty crazy claim.

regardless of what rom whether its AOSP or not, people always whine, and i think thats what annoys me the most. devs and modders do things for other people because they're selfless and want to share what they know and what they've done. but those who whine and complain are selfish because they aren't getting what they want, when they want.
and i think its more that some people don't even bother to search, or even ask for that matter, and instead just flame and bash the peoples roms. its not like everyone who downloads roms says thanks either. especially since ever dev's rom post only has 20ish thanks when there are clearly more than 100x the amount of people downloading their rom.
