Hi all,
I come from Ninja and just install CM7. (ATT Atrix used in France with Orange)
Under Ninja, I had a lot off data lose connection but the download speed was very fast (9Mo).
Now I have install CM7 and decide to keep the standard APN of CM7 to try not not have the data lose connection and that work !!!
But the download speed is so low (0.5Mo)...
Did someone have an idea for me to get the normal download speed ?

before doing anything else, you should always make a backup and then do a completely fresh install. wipe data, cache, and dalvik and try to reinstall CM7. if that doesn't work, try to flash a stock ROM, see if that fixes the problem.
if that doesn't work, then it might be a hardware problem. just gotta cross off all other possibilities first.

i would stay away from flashing with RSD, try to find a CWM flashable ROM that is as close to stock as possible.
So I will flash :

it reverts everything to stock except the bootloader stuff. you should also try to reflash your radio to the stock radio for your carrier.

"stock radio for your carrier", this is a good question !

If your phone is from the USA, the stock radio if you previously upgraded to Gingerbread is this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1159505 But I have no idea what it would do over there where you are. Try it. Also, there is an APP to restore your APN settings on market, just search Market for APN.
Using Fastboot and place the radio.img file at the same place as Fastboot, I have type :
Fastboot flash radio radio.img
(done)
Fastboot reboot
(Done)
And now stuck to the boot logo !
Where is my mistake ?

thanks for the reply, will this be as well as the rom ? or will it replace the rom i have. I take it the highest number is the latest version, and as such the one i should go for ? once i have it on the SD card, pls can you just explain how to flash it from there... thanks for your help

you flash it like a ROM...but it don't repleace the ROM, only radio's files....after the flash you've got to reboot the phone...it automaticly reboot into recovery mode...it's normal....after that you reboot an other time and the phone starts normal...

thanks for your help !!! only problem now is that i can no get my phone to boot into the recovery,,, i press and hold home, but the phone locks and i have to remove battery. normal start up is ok,,,, dont know what to do now
have you flashed a recovery yet? because the phone doesnt normally come with the ra recovery

I am trying to upgrade my radio from 63.18.55.06JH_6.35.09.26 to latest one 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26 . All procedure is going ok, without any problems.
Veryfying, extracting, installing etc. Rebooting, showing that funny picture that is upgrading(mobile outside box) , then rebooting going in to the recovery mode (RA-hero-v1.2.3) and shows formating CACHE:... and done.
After reboot, I am goiong to check radio version and still appears same xxJHxx
Any idea? Phone is rooted.

JH and JU seem to be the same. some roms show JH, most show JU. i had this case once, i had flashed JU, then it turned itself into JH somehow. what rom are you on, and do other roms show also JH?

My atrix working fine in malaysia and because my stupid idea,i play around with secret menu *#*#4636#*#* and choose us band suddenly my atrix cant detect any network.please help me,i already try searching over internet but nothing truly can clear my prOblem.i l already perform reset factory setting but still face same problem.are really flashing stock sbf can solved my problem?

couldnt hurt...i mean if that doesnt work then youll really be looking for type of weird solution
SBF flash will do the trick..... Basically you need to reset the radio, so even just flashing the radio should work. I know the whole SBF will work though since I have done the same thing you did.

Are there any solution like just flashing the radio beside flashing entire rom(sbf)

Back-up all your stuff and do full wipe and factory re-set and re-flash again.follow the instructions to the word and dont forget that when you do a flash it has to be compatable with the make and model of your phone.also after a flash you must do a wipe and factory re-set.i also do a battery stats wipe to start of fresh just incase.

He means to restore to factory default as in go back to stock (how it came out of the box).

I do that & nothing happen! i think the frimware have proplems
now i have 2.2 and i find out new problems like (force close) when delete app!
and some times stop and shown message force close for all app and made me
should restart phone!

And I have NEVER been able to get past the Start-Up screen. It reboots every 30 seconds from the moment I press "Start". Is anybody else having this problem with this ROM as well?
I'm using a Korean Atrix btw, MB861. I would REALLY appreciate the help!
EDIT: Okay, so I've gotten past the start-up screen by skipping everything (setting up time, Google account, etc.) and now I got to the lock screen. Now, if I don't touch the phone at all, it stays on. But once I try to unlock the phone, it is 100% SURE to reboot 30 seconds right after I unlock it. Is there no workaround for this??

I was on the stock ROM, GB 2.3.5, MB861...
I also used CWM Recovery to flash this, not ROM Racer's recovery, because for some reason ROM Racer's recovery didn't want to work on my Atrix. =.=

you have to do a "format / system" is needed .... (in recovery).
then you'll probably lose touch in recovery, proceed with the installation aroma ...
up / down = volume
enter = power button
= capacitive return any key.

I already did that, twice. And still the same problem.
ok .... then try fastboot wipe (it worked for some users).
I get this also with all ics roms but im having bp problems that are probably causing that.. nottach 1.3.1 and darkside stripped down are only reliable,stable roms I can run personally... and even those its only in boot android bp pass mode. Cold boot linux.

In AROMA set Full Wipe, and try to install only one Launcher, and take a look Kernels screen, check your Kernel and select the correct, i think you are trying some FauxKernel try original 1100 or your kernel...
I've tried installing all three of Joker's kernels (1.0, 1.3, 1.45) and still my Atrix goes haywire. I've tried all kinds of installs (Default, Custom, Full Wipe, Non Wipe, etc.) but none have worked. I wanted this ICS ROM so bad! Is there anything I have to do before I flash this ROM again? I've flashed it maybe 10 times or so now.
Which is your Kernel? Try the oders, the firsts 4 Kernels, like 1100 and others, stock kernels.
I don't know if I want to try installing another kernel, because I don't want to brick my Atrix. I've tried looking for kernels that were made for AOKP, but to no avail. Maybe you could give me a link to a good kernel that will work for AOKP? It's been half a day, and I still haven't been able to use my device...
EDIT: I also noticed that I don't have any service, and the backlights for the softkeys aren't lighting up. So I now have three things to deal with: constant reboot, no service, and softkeys backlights.

which hopefully for you, if the Joker rom work for you, check MD5 sum of my link and compare with your downloaded file, can be a bad download ...

I wasn't able to download Joker's ROM, however, I have tried other ROMs, namely Neutrino and the Official CM7 for Atrix. I noticed one thing that both ROMs worked properly, but they didn't have Google Apps pre-installed, so I had to get and install Gapps separately. Then, when I installed the Gapps, that's when the rebooting problem started again. I think my problem has something to do with Google Apps...
I have similar problem when I did install the AOKP from for the first time. It become unstable. I did fastboot to flash the wrapped the phone and install again with (current version is 37a) and it's become quite stable now.

I studied this, and I found out that by flashing the correct radio file, I could potentially solve this issue. I just flashed this radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260963 and the issue seems to be fixed. I am currently on this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257574 and so far, the phone has been smooth as butter! I have yet to try with AOKP. I am going to report as soon as possible regarding this ROM. But so far, everything is A-OK! Thanks for all the help, everybody! You have all been very helpful!

hi, I just installed this custom rom on my x10i, it went all fine, but problem is that I no longer have internet connectivity. 3g won't work (I can turn on, but it won't show, and I can't download configurations from where it was previously, nothing shows up under settings>sony ericsson) and also, wi-fi isn't working. whenever I try to turn it on, it says "error" and won't turn on.
what to do? this rom is awesome, impressively fast than stock 2.3 on my x10, but without internet, it's useless....

Have you done dalvik-cache wipe and erased cache partition? Also,are you on .71 baseband?
For wifi, have you flashed its kernel modules?

Your opinion But I am using same ROM without data plan and I am happy Sometimes wifi in restarnts in the streets are enough and free
The wifi could also mean that you havent flashed your roms wifi modules zip normally done in xrecovery

Factory Reset (Full wipe)
Wipe Cache Partition
Wipe Dalvik Cache
then I installed the rom, and flashed the FTF package
it says baseband 2.1.71 and kernel 2.6.29-00054 and etc. is that right?
the only thing I flashed was this FTF file. do I have to do anything other than that? idk how to flash my roms wifi modules, really new to this thing.

ZIP cannot be flashed in PC's Flashtool, but in Xrecovery my friend. TFT is for PC flashtool. If you wanna back where you begin, i suggest you follow this link's method. Worked as promised

Try Full wipe again (ALERT THAT YOUR DATA WILL LOSS in your PHONE) if you can. THEN ,FOLLOW link i sent ya before and their instructions, videos. Best way is watch and learn. Have a nice day.

PS: if you don't want to restart, you may have to find links that contains your downloaded WF ROM either is for unlocked/locked. Normally, wolfbreak will put its module links at his/her first post.
