h-3.2# ./sbf_flash 198_5_CM.sbf

I extracted these error codes from a Hermes rom upgrade 'read me' document, these should be of help if you get an error message during a rom upgrade. They should be common to all roms, please correct me if I am wrong.
ERROR [202, 204] : CONNECTION
This error message will appear when the device is not connected to ActiveSync correctly. Make sure you properly connect the device to the PC through ActiveSync before running RUU.
ERROR [260] : CONNECTION
This error occurs when there is an “open port error” before upgrading the CE ROM image.
Solution: You can reset the device and run RUU again. If you still encounter an “OPEN PORT ERROR” again, reset your computer and try again.
ERROR [206] : MEMORY ALLOCATION
ERROR [280] : UPDATE ERROR
When you see any of these error messages, close other running programs on the computer and run RUU again.
ERROR [208] : FILE OPEN
ERROR [210] : FILE READ
These error messages indicate that RUU lacks certain important files and cannot continue with the update. Please get the complete RUU package again.
ERROR [212] : FILE CREATE
ERROR [214] : FILE WRITE
ERROR [222, 224] : DEVICE NOT RESPONDING
These error messages will appear when remote access control has failed. Check the ActiveSync connection and try running RUU again.
ERROR [220] : MAIN BATTERY POWER
This error message will appear when the device’s battery power is not sufficient. Although RUU will instruct you to plug in the AC adapter, it still has to make sure that your device has enough power to upgrade the radio. (Even when you plug in the AC adapter, the device is unable to charge the battery when it is upgrading the radio).
ERROR [238] : FILE READ
This error message may appear when, for some unknown reason, the ROM image on the Mobile Device is corrupt. Download the whole RUU and try again.
ERROR [240] : FILE OPEN
When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again.
ERROR [242] : INVALID LANGUAGE
ERROR [244] : INVALID MODEL ID
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.
ERROR [246] : DEVICE NOT RESPONDING
This error message indicates that RUU cannot start the update process. Please contact your service provider for assistance.
ERROR [262, 276, 284, 302] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process.
Solution: If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.
Note: At this stage, the Wince is destroyed; instead, it is in upgrade mode.
ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL
This error message will appear when you use the incorrect RUU version to upgrade.
ERROR [330] : ROM IMAGE ERROR
This error message will appear when you use the incorrect RUU to upgrade and the image file size is larger than the Flash ROM size. In this case, download the correct RUU version to upgrade.
Hi Guys,
I'm from Germany and I have the following problem:
I wanted to flash a WM6-Rom onto my SDA 2 / HTC Hurricane.
I did everything that was described in the tutorial but at one point I have got a problem:
When it comes to opening mtty, I can't flash the Rom.
It says:
Download Fails !!!
OEMFlashWrite error(12)
Error : DownloadImage return error (code = 0xFFFFFFFF)
Click to collapse
What to do now?
I have absolutely no idea.
And I would be very glad if somebody could help me to get ANY Rom onto my device.
I'm kind of frustrated right now.
See you.
Timops
it's to small information to say anything.
you must past whole communicates from Mtty (everything)
than we can say something about it
Alright.
Then I will try it again today and post the whole mtty log.
Perhaps you can do sth. with it.
But now I've got the T-Mobile-UK-Rom (WM2003) on my device.
But I really want WM6.
1- do you unlock phone from application lock?
2- do you change CID to 11111 ?
3- do you upgrade phone with latest SPL for hurricane (for hurricane WM6)
4- do you writing commands in mtty yourself? or copy/past? (copying doesn't work)

1- I used the cert.cab. I think this is application unlocking
2- yes I did by using SPV-Services
3- I don't know, but I used PatchedRuu.exe (I think this is that)
4- yes I write them myself
I'll try in a few minutes and post the log if it doesn't work.
But don't hesitate to post any suggestions or information.
BTW: Is my English understandable?
Now this is my log from mtty:

I think I know where the problem is:
I can't get into the bootloader correctly.
When the phone asks me if I want a IU (0) and I press the Zero-Button on the phone, nothing happens.
What to do now?
you must trying to success. maybes SPL was upgrade incorrect, go to bootloader and try to upgrade SPL by patched ruu again
I tried this so often but I don't give up!
I'll try again, maybe I'm lucky.
Who knows?
Where can i get this PatchedRUU ? I have the NBF File but i think a need the RUU program it self, but where to get it ?
here is PatcedRUU http://www.spv-developers.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=65
wrong RUU!!! RUU from above will KILL your Hurricane!!
Above RUU will kill your Hurricane because it for Typhoon.
BTW: I had "CMD55 failed" error when using bad USB-cable... trying another cable made it disappear.

Help me please guys!
This is my S-OFF with Revolutionary

this error is with the RUU
Did you try S-On afterwards?
Connect phone to computer, open terminal, 'fastboot oem lock'
I´d like to know if any dev or user is currently working on unlocking the locked bootloaders on the newer Atrix phones? If no, why?
Nearly all information abour unlocking the booloader is only about the old Atrix phones and the newer ones can´t be unlocked (as you guys already now ^^)
Unfortunately I don´t see a single information about if someone with knowledge is trying to unlock he bootloader.
I only see the attemps of peoples who try to unlock the bootloader with the old tutorials

Here is my opinion on this subject: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28921912&postcount=15
I realy hope it was my mistkae, but I always get the same error and I was told that it could be a driver issue or the USB ports aren´t powerful enough, but I tried everything as they wrote in the Tutorials 3 times on 3 different computers with 3 different OS

I even tried the file for ATT phone and got sec exception fabe 35 35.
what could I do do fix these problem and unlock my bootloader then? Maybe different/older drivers ? USB Debugging is/was on.
my AT&T ATRIX 4G is running android 2.3.3 ..i want to flash the same 4.5.91 sbf with rsd lite..after all the steps and 100% exceution a error on mobile is "sec_exception: febe, 35, 35" and rsd lite shows "flashing process FAILED, saying that phone did not re-enumerate after RAM-downloader was sent"
after pulling and reinserting battery mobile is working fine..tried 2 times but same problem.....please help me how to flash it
i had an unlocked bootloader and i connected my mobile to pc after it shows starting RSD protocaol setup ,...
please help
I assume your follwing the guide here? Do you have the proper motorola drivers? Do you have the proper version of RSDlite? Do you have the proper SBF file for your phones country of origin? Get your sbf here or here. Check the md5sum of the download if its available and /or comapre file sizes to ensure file integrity. Follow the directions to the letter. RSDlite is not forgiving. good luck
