The Culprit is Busybox, at first I thought its the OC kernel that i installed then upon google surfing i found similar problems and yup its the #$Q!#$ application!! CONFIRMED
STAY AWAY FROM OPENVN RELATED STUFF
so here's the solution, after spending so much time my Galaxy tab is now reviewd.
First Download this for your PC
SAMSUNG DRIVER:
http://downloadandroidfiles.com/file...0-0-escape.exe
ODIN
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/G...abrooteasy.zip
Then go to this site
http://www.samfirmware.com/fwandroid.htm
and search for your Tablet's Model
after that you will have several firmware to choose from depending on where your tablet is manufactured
look at the back of your tablet, find the "MADE IN: xxxxxxx" This will give you a hint (mine is KOREA so I download the asian Firmware)
After downloading all of that
Install the driver
Unzip tabrooteasy.zip
On your tablet, Push the Power Botton once until the Samsung galaxy Tab 10.1 logo appear, then imediately press the volume down button.
2 choices will appear, choose the one with the DOWNLOAD stuff in it
after that odin will start on your tablet, DO NOT PLUG THE CABLE YET!
Open the ODIN.exe on your PC and Then Connect the Cable
Click on PDA then navigate to the tabrooteasy folder and choose
recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5
do not change the settings then click start.
after that Reboot your tablet and do the ODIN process again, Click PDA again then navigate to the Firmware folder you downloaded a while ago,
there will be 3 files, choose the largest file and click start again, it will now install a new Fresh Official Firmware...
WAIT!!
We're Not done yet!
upon competion you tablet will reboot, it will bootloop once again dont worry I got it fixed
restart your tablet then go hold the volume down button agin but his time choose the other one we didnt choose a while ago, after that format your data, format your cache then hit reboot!

SOS
Quick question first - Where are you and what network are you on? Because the one below is for INS India so you may need a different firmware
OK try this.
Download this firmware - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500 (get both parts)
And the flasher - Odin3 v1.83 GT-S7500
Extract everything to the same folder then do this -
1. Open Odin
2. Make sure phone is totally powered off (Remove battery for 30 seconds then reinsert)
3. Boot the phone into Download Mode. You can do this by pressing and holding down the Volume Down and Home buttons while pressing the Power button until you are welcomed by a green robot indicating you are in Download Mode.
4. Once the phone is in Download mode, connect your phone to your PC while keeping the Odin3 application running.
5. Within a few moments, the ID:COM section in the Odin3 application will turn yellow. This indicates that the necessary drivers for your device have been successfully installed on your computer.
6. In Odin3, click the PDA button. Browse for S7500DDLB1_S7500ODDLB1_S7500DDLB1_HOME.tar.md5 and select it.
7. In the Option section in Odin3, make sure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked.
8. Hit the “Start” button in Odin3 to begin flashing the Gingerbread firmware to your phone. It may take 5-10 minutes for the installation process to finish. Your phone should automatically reboot itself.
9. As soon as you see the Samsung splash screen, disconnect your phone from your PC.
10. Switch off your phone completely.
11. Reboot the phone into Recovery Mode. You can do this by holding down the Volume Up and Home buttons, then pressing down the Power button.
12. Once inside recovery, perform a wipe:
Select “wipe data/factory reset”, then select “Yes” on the screen that follows to confirm data wipe.
Select “wipe cache partition”, then select “Yes” on the screen that follows to confirm wiping your phone’s cache partition.
13. Head back to the main menu, then select “Reboot system now” to reboot your device.
(If you have problems with the drivers get these and install - Samsung USB Drivers)
Original instructions from here
Hope this helps unbrick your phone. You may need to re-root after this though
I figured that earlier but thanks... I didn't checked xda-forums......
Sent from Samsung galaxy ace plus using tapatallk....loxy

[Q] Samsung S2 ICS rom suddenly stuck on load screen.

Please please please could anyone help!
About a month ago I upgraded to Ice cream sandwich (LP7) and then rooted my S2. All worked fine for 3 or 4 days and then suddenly it crashed for no reason. I suspect, but am not sure, that it did an automatic update. On rebooting it just stops at the Samsung S2 screen with a yellow triangle.
For the last few weeks i have been trying to find a fix, but am at my wits end now.
I have gone through the different solutions on your site but to no avail also where mine seems to be different is that I can get into boot mode and odin always says its successful. I have tried different pc and usb cable too just in case that was an issue
I can not get into Volume up mode, but i can get into boot mode with volume down. I have tried re loading a few different rom's and Odin says that the transfer was successful each time, however it is still stuck at the same place on reboot.
Tried reloading kernel and re partitioning, and again Odin said it went OK, but still stuck on start screen.
Tried using a jig and turned phone on, but it the phone just went to the start screen again.
If i could just get into reset mode, i could clear the memory, but this is not working either.
If anyone could help i would be very so grateful.
Thanks
Terry

That is a special .tar edition. You simply flash it just like a single file firmware (as PDA).
Good luck

I think your data partition is corrupt, but you can still get it solved.
You need to special .pit file. I'll post you the link (for the .pit file and instructions) very soon
Try this it worked for me

Try this I did and it worked to get mine booting after a bad update.
I messed around with it using several methods of getting it to boot into download mode until I finally got it to do it. I think I left it plugged into the USB, powered it down until I saw the charging screen, then I proceeded to play with the different ways to hold the buttons to get it to download mode. If you are persistent enough and read a little on booting methods to get bricked phone into download mode you will succed if not then your not for the world of trial and error... the main thing is do the first steps I said before until it works
1. Get into Download Mode (WITH THE PHONE PLUGGED IN) by following the steps below
*Turn off the phone until you get to the charging battery screen (keep in mind, your phone is currently PLUGGED IN)
*Press volume up and down, and power all at once.
*As soon as the screen turns black, release your power button.
2. Unplug phone from USB
or try
2. Remove everything from your phone (SD card, sim, battery).
3. Plug your phone into your computer WITHOUT the battery, as you have already taken it out in the last step.
4. Press and HOLD vol. up and vol. down.
5. As you are HOLDING these buttons, reattach your battery.
6. You should be in Download Mode.
7. Unplug phone from USB
any how try try try until it works
Once in download mode
Get your files together for your phone, and use Odin 1.85.
Plug into Odin and make sure it shows yellow and its added!
1. Now if your files have like 3 files and the exact .pit file for your phone if available.
I found mine here (Find yous stock firmware for your phone)
2. Click the PIT button and browse to your exact .pit file for your phone *It should now have added a check in the re-partition box under the options area of the Odin window. If not CHECK IT!
***If you don't have your .pit don't worry about this unless you suspect, or have a bad partition
3. If you have just 1 file just click the PDA button and load the file. If you have 3 then you will load the PDA file in PDA, the Modem file into PHONE, and the CSC file into CSC, there are way too many phones to link all the files so get you stuff together!
4. Now hit start.
5. When done and the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE Logo or whatever... immediately unplug the battery from the phone to shut it down.
6. Now put it back in and start it in Upload mode by pressing Vol Up, Home at the same time then the Power button.
7. As soon as the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE Logo or whatever let go of all buttons and using the Vol Up down Choose the Clear Cache option and go through and make sure you factory reset it if you can just for good measure.
8. Reboot
9. Now when the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE Logo or whatever take out battery again to power off
10. Now put it back in and start it in Download mode by pressing Vol Down, Home at the same time then the Power button.
11. Once in download mode Hook up to Odin again and flash it with a root kernel for your phone. Do not ask me just find it. I did it took time but I got all the files together over several days of reading and collecting the correct ones.
12. When done and the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE Logo or whatever... immediately unplug the battery from the phone to shut it down.
13. Now put it back in and start it in Upload mode by pressing Vol Up, Home at the same time then the Power button.
14. In most roots you will now have a advanced or mounting options and more options to use.
15. I cleared the Cache again, Cleared the Davilik Cache, Went into a option and actually mounted the cache formatted the Cache.
16. Use the option now to restart the phone...
And mine started up installed the apps and I am up and running, nice and smooth and no issues so far
I hope this helps out someone whos just about to go off the deep end, as I was there and patience and trial and error came up with this step by step way to recover mine. Thank me by hitting the little thumbs up THANKS button below this post.
And if your so happy your phone is up show your appreciation by buying me a Pepsi

Bricked your Newsmy Newpad T3? Then lets Un-Brick it

So I bought this cheap tablet off of ebay and after about a week I connected it into the charger and forgot to unplug it.. Only next morning I saw and when I disconnected it it had turned off. So I turned it on and it was stuck in the newsmy logo and wasn't booting up.
There was nothing on the internet, but somehow I got it working again and for everybody's sake I'm posting what I did here.
First off, even though there are some references that this has allwinner A10 inside, ITS NOT. you will brick this if you flash an allwinner variant kernal.
If you are one of those brave souls who flashed on a allwinner kernals and bricked the thing, you would not be able to go to download mode even. Here is the steps to flash a fresh rom that would resolve most of issues:
1. Download driver pack from the attachment of this post
2. Download RKBatchTool here: http://www.x-drivers.com/catalog/fl...s_electronics/models/rk_batch_tool/27576.html..
3. Now turn off your tablet. If it doesn't turn off press a needle head into the reset pinhole and hold it for 5 seconds
4. Open device manager from your computer
5. Then hold the power on button and volume up(that is the one closer to power button) until it turns on. It'll boot your tab in download mode. After the green robot icon appears connect it to the computer by carefully monitoring device manager of computer
*** If you have flashed an allwinner or other rockchip kernal based ROM earlier and do not go in to download mode or no new device installation in your PC there's a real possibility your download mode combination may have changed. Turn it off by pressing needle to reset pinhole. Then turn off and connect it to PC. Then turn it on and then while in boot screen hold volume up. if not try similar procedure by holding volume down or back buttons. If you see driver installation in the PC and nothing in the tablets screen, thats fine. You can continue with the flasing
6. The driver installation probably will fail. Identify which device that is newly added to the device manager.
7. Right click on the device -> Update Driver. Then manually select -> Have disk then give rockusb file from drivers you just downloaded(if your system is 64-bits use files in amd-64 folder)
8. Then select RK29 as the device and update the driver
9. Now extract and run RKBatchTool and you must see under connected devices button #1 highlighted in green
10. Download official ROM here: http://220.168.57.227:1949/cunchu/20120312T3youhuaruanj.rar
There are other ROMs for T3 here as well. But this is the only thing that works
11. Extract it and give its update.img file path to RKBatchTool FW Path
12. Hit Restore
13. Wait few minutes for flash to complete
14. Then the tab will restart once or twice and will start booting up. This process should take maybe 5 minutes or more. Be patient
15. Then it'll finally boot.
I will post a Jelly Bean ROM for this tab here as soon as I cook one
Comments are much appreciated
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Was searching for a guide to get my brothers Newsmy Newpad T3 up and running.
Thank you for this guide. will definitely try it out and leave a feedback.
P.S. Jellybean sounds interesting.
OK. After spending two days I finally got it to detect the Newsmy Newpad T3.
I had to install Android SDK for the USB drivers. (Don't know if it detected from that.)
Then downloaded super one click root. Found the android drivers in it, and when it asked which driver you want to install I gave "Android Composite" not sure but something in those lines.
Successfully rooted it.
Then off the tab and connect the USB cable, press power and volume up (one that is near the power) and when the tab boots
If it asked for drivers please do same as above
Now run the firmware installer provided inside the update.img folder that you downloaded from the original post by suki300me step 10. It is in Chinese and the first option is to change it to English found on the bottom screen.
If everything is set your tab will be in a black screen only thing you know is that it is on is the sound windows 7 makes when the phone is connected to it. Choose the udate .img file and press upgrade.
It will run up to 3-4 stages and will say data copy error. Remove the cable and press power, it will star installing ICS give it few minutes and you are done.
It took me many attempts so don't give up if it didn't work on your first try. Hope this helps someone.

I get one newsmy t3 tablet from my friend. The only problem the system is never loaded (stuck at the boot). I try the power+volume up but just the black screen appaers. Btw only turns on when its plugged. Please give me some tips.

Bricked my MSI Enjoy 10" Plus

I've got an MSI Windpad Enjoy 10" Plus (http://www.msi.com/product/windpad/Enjoy-10-Plus.html) and I tried to flash it this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1540616).
The rom is for MSI Windpad Enjoy 10", while mine is called Enjoy 10" Plus. So GG, I think I got owned. So retarded you don't even have to tell me.
Now whenever I try to turn on the tablet, it would simply vibrate, show the logo and then turns off. PC doesn't detect it.
However, I tried holding Power button + Reset button together, the PC detects it, but it's unknown and it can't identify it (even though I have MSI's drivers installed and all).
...Any ideas on how to overcome it?
I'm going to sleep now, and will check tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
[UPDATE] 2/22/2013 11:00pm gmt
I'm able to boot it only if I have it plugged in. I can only use Power + Volume controllers + Reset buttons. I can enter Recovery Mode but I cannot confirm/click on any selection.
Tablet does not get recognized by the computer in "Flashing Mode".
I forced to install the driver for the "Flashing mode" when the tablet is in recovery mode but programs like MSIFlashtool, RKBatchTool, RKAdnroid. (not sure if i correcly used the last 2... but whatever)

put phone into download mode nd open odin
select PDA and select the tar file u downloaded
click start and it should take u back to stock
forgot if this unroots ur phone or not so u might have to root again.

This is not Samsung or a phone. Read what you are told
If you have a splash screen, you are not bricked. Does adb recognise your tablet? Can you access any recovery/download mode?

ADB doesn't recognize it. I tried holding Power + Reset button and did 'adb devices' on Ubuntu and it didn't show anything. On Windows, if I held these 2 buttons, it would show an unknown device in Device Manager. (Mind you, I don't have the Android SDK on Windows, just Linux.)
I can't access any recovery/download mode. Any combination of buttons (Power+VolDown, Power+VolUp/VolDown, Power+VolUP, Power+Home, Power+Back, Power+Settings) would do nothing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This what it does when I press Power + Reset Button with a needle. It boots up, splash screen, and stays on black screen (Btw, in this stage, it's Unknown Device in Windows Manager).Once I let go of Reset or Power button, it shuts down.
Turning it on without holding Reset, it would show splash screen, black screen and turns off in about 2 seconds.
Bump.
I've tried playing with it for some time. I can't get it to stay working without pressing power+reset buttons, it always shuts off...
Go to the device website, and download section, get the latest firmware and forget to download the flash driver.
Follow the steps that in firmware folder after unzip it, and you'll get your tablet on

... I was trying all the time to get it work on the PC without plugging the charger. Anyways~
(Tablet's turned off), I plugged charger, I plugged USB, I turned on the tablet and viola it actually worked and booted into OS. However, no buttons work AT ALL, and touch input doesn't work as well.
I tried to get into Recovery Mode and it worked, but I can go up/down using VolUp/VolDow buttons but I cannot click on any thing because the home button don't work nor any other.
Only Power + VolUp + VolDown + Reset buttons work... What to do now?
TL;DR I want to click on 'Update from SD Card' from the Android Recovery but I couldn't get the 'home' button to click enter on the selection. So what's the solution?
bump.
updates:
I tried to place the firmware from the official website as update.img on an SD Card and placed it in the tablet and went into the recovery mode and selected the 'update from sd card' but i couldn't click it. I tried to tap power, home, search, settings and back and nothing worked.
what I've got up until now:
I can boot into the ROM / RecoveryMod as long as I have the charger plugged in the tablet.
For Ubuntu, when I use the command $ tail -f /var/log/syslog and plug in my tablet, it shows this log http://pastebin.com/pBpBUA2Q (it identifies the tablet) [note, the tablet is booted into the ROM]
Also, if I'm in the recovery mode and I plug in the tablet, it would enumerate the USB... ~,~

Hello,
I know it has been long since this thread stopped.
I'm currently in his shoes and for the life of me cannot find anything on the web to help me solve my problem.
My MSI Enjoy 10" Plus was flashed with the wrong MSI Enjoy 10" update. Now the tablet only turns on when in "Recovery Mode", but selecting in that mode is not possible using 10" Plus' buttons. Is there anyone from you good people that can help? Please? Thanks.
Uhm...bump?
Bump? Need help from the experts here. Please. I'm desperate.
Thank you very much in advance.

What recovery exactly ? In other words, we can't give you any idea of what you can possibly try next unless you tell us precisely what you did.

Perhaps a silly question, but was your phone definitely on 4.1.2 at the time?
Personally I prefer the root methods using Odin - you get a lot more feedback as to whether or not things are working.

Yes it was, but I did't notice that tutorial is for S2 I9100G, because mine is S2 I9100. By the way, is there a chance that usb jig could fix this? Because Im losing hope to start it manually..
You've flashed firmware for a different device, this is why your phone is dead. Take it to someone who does JTAG's, it may be JTAG'able. If a JTAG doesn't work replace motherboard - either a new one by Samsung service centre (expensive) or a 2nd hand one you source yourself & pay a local mobile repair shop to swap (cheaper).

Thank you! And what about usb jig, should I try it?
Of course, given they only cost a couple of bucks on eBay you don't have anything to lose. This might be the 1 in 10,000 where it works in this situation for whatever magical reason. But you do need to be realistic/manage your expectations & buy one expecting it won't work.
Since its dead/bricked, try what ever is neccessary to turn it on. Does the recovery mode work? If it does try to update/flash a stock official firmware for your phone. Do what ever is necessary or get ready to pay for some bucks at the local repair shop.
