Hey guys just seems like the stock 2.3.4 ATRIX port and Alien have issues running multithreaded apps such as linpack. Is this because they are ports and haven't been configured properly?

What roms are out for Droid x2 rooted gingerbread?? I know there is eclipse, bit what else.. im really trying to save my battery life..

Right now, there its not very much. Not much apart from what nitro has put out yet.
Like slowness overall and 'phantom touches'. I have experienced this since I bought my atrix and was wondering if there has been a solution or if there is one at all. Thanks
What are you running on your phone at the moment? That info will help me better understand your problem. I don't have that issue.

No lag here.
Im running Home Base 2.1 + 4.6 (w/ faux's 1.3gz kernel) but this happened before with Greyblur as well

I would try one more ROM like alien or cm7 the make sure your phone doesn't have a hardware issue. I love the cm7. Best performing ROM I ever used.

I had this problem while using a cheap charger. My phone would lag and I would get phantom touches. When it unplugged it was fine. I switched to a better quality charger and it works fine.
I'm unsure why but my phone jeeps disconnecting from my Bluetooth headset at random while I'm listening to music. This doesn't happen with my iPod so its not the headset =\ any ideals?

I guess my sign doesn't show up from my phone my bad. I'm running eclipse 1.1
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
Eclipse 1.1 is on 2.3.4. Did you make sure you sbf'd to 2.3.4 before you flashed to Eclipse 1.1? If not then you're still on 2.3.3 and that will be causing the error.
If you are already on 2.3.4,, why don't you try flashing Eclipse 1.3? That has a bunch of bug fixes. Also, there v2.0.2 that's for 2.3.5 if you want to try that.
Yeah Im on 2.3.4 that's what I first rooted on. I'm gonna try and SBF to 2.3.5 and run eclipse v2 this weekend. Hope all is stable with it. I had issues with 1.3 from Pandora and such and I've never sbfed so this should be fun lol

Interesting..I'm not sure why the bluetooth is giving you that problem. SBFing is super easy haha. I was nervous my first time and now its like second nature. There's a great guide in the development section.
If you're going to 2.3.5, make sure you follow the guide in the development forum so you don't miss any steps. Good luck!
Alright ill be sure to look them up. Hope eclipse 2.0.2 is amazing =)

Eclipse obviously is a stable fast rom with hdmi, but I also liked Liberty when it was released for X2.
Id have to say aces barebones eclipse....used it untill cm7 dropped.
Sent from my pimp lookin cm7-dx2!!
Eclipse is a great ROM its fast, stable and the HDMI is a big bonus. I also use the HDMI thats why I went with eclipse. Google eclipserom.com for a full guide on rooting and downloading its very helpful and they reply to any questions very fast

Eww Eclipse. I had such horrid battery life on there, and the wifi issues are unbearable for me. It looked pretty though.
I still insist Liberty had the best battery life of any rom on the X2, and I think it had hdmi, can't remember, it's been awhile. If it weren't for my extended battery I would still be running it, but for now I'm on CM7.
Eclipse is where it's at!
Everyone here is going to tell you Eclipse or Liberty until CM7 or MIUI get HDMI output. Most likely MIUI will get it first though since CM7 doesn't support it. With the limited amount of ROMs available for the X2, you only have so many choices.
Does anybody know if the install goes correctly, sorry if it's already been asked. I just don't want to brick my phone.

I didn't want to bump this thread, but I really want an answer. Sooo, anybody know?
For me on the .173 software it failed but did not brick my phone. But until the bootloader is unlocked/bypassed the razr can not run an aosp rom. + juice defender ultimate ran horribly for me, ive used it on many other phones that it worked wonderful, the razr it did not.

So that means that since my Razr isn't running an AOSP based ROM that it's highly unlikely that even on .181 it will be able to run, unlikely but not impossible?
Never mind, I put on my big boy pants and checked it for myself. It worked fine. And I love the new battery saving features.

Black Widow is a AOSP Rom, isn't it? And juicedefender runs very well on my razr for three months now.

A fully aosp rom includes the kernel, and since we cant boot custom kernels no rom for our phone can be built solely from the android open source project. I might have to give jd another try, do you guys still get the lag when it initiates 4g?

AOSP works for 65.1.40 2.3.6 asia stock rom.

What do you mean lag? I haven't botched anything service damaging like that. But I just set up jd and leave it.

But now we can boot custom kernels using kexec, right? Ok, second core doesn't work but a good ICS custom ROM with a good kernel running on single core beats a stock ROM which is running on dual core. So I think it would be nice if a custom kernel could be built.

It's been a while since I've tried jd, the last time I did I had horrible lag when I turned on the screen to data connectivity initiating. The dev might have updated since then.

Kexec is close, I can't use it on my DROID RAZR yet, but very promising. I'd guess most devs will wait for the official update to ics's source drop by moto, giving how hard it is to find/build drivers for the h/w.
