I rooted my o1 using superoneclick and downloaded rom manager and flashed clockwork recovery through it..
The combo for recovery didnt worked so i rebooted into recovery from rom manager but instead of rebooting into recovery it got stuck at
fastboot mode started
udc()
However i got my cell back to life with the help of this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015332
Now i don't know whether my o1 has a valid recovery image coz i need to flash the latest francos kernel
So plz help on how to flash recovery through terminal emulator
And is there anything important to consider while flashing recovery or francos kernel

Dear helpers,
I need your help in my issue. I flashed the CM7 rom on my gtablet successively, but now I can't go to the recovery anymore. When I restart into recovery it writes "Detect a recovery command erasing MSC " and then starts normally without going to the rom manager
Please help me in this issue cos I wanna flash another rom
thanks

Use this instructions very simple, I damage my Recovey and fix with the NVFlash to Stock with CWM pre-installed.
After that you can install any other ROM.

Yeah that didn't work for me : (
Maybe if you posted in the correct section you would get some assistance....
I just got my P500 back from warranty after I hard bricked it a few weeks before (KDZ crashed during flashing). They replaced the whole PCB.
Now I wanted to install the Clockwork Mod again and so I downgraded to Android 2.2 (they sent it back with 2.3.3), rooted it, installed ROM Manager and CWM. But if I want to boot into recovery mode I get the recovery mode unpacking-logo (not the warning sign, it's the logo with the arrow indicating something's installing) and after a few seconds the screen turns black and the device boots the normal ROM with factory settings.
I also tried that on 2.3.3 with the same result and I just don't know what I should do to get into recovery mode :/
I downgraded the OS because of the baseband (I want to use CM7) and I rooted it with SuperOneClick using the GingerBreak exploit.
Reflash recovery because your recovery not flashed properly.don't use rom manager to flash recovery use another method like lgmdp or terminal or adb.
lgmdp worked like a charm, thank you!
Please quickly
my phone is lg optimus me
I rooted it
then I downloaded ROM Manager I clicked on backup CURRENT ROM then the phone rebooted to the recovery mode black screen
fastboot was started
udc_start()
then Now please how to fix it any method formatting recovery flashing any method please
and then why the ROM manager did that
?
try this
seems you did not installed any custom recovery, as TWRP or CWM, only this can do a nadroid-back up of your phone
but can you reboot it, even pulling out and in battery? if yes try to install the right custom recovery for your phone
backing up with ROM manager only create a short cut to the installed recovery and from then you can make a back-up, so if it's not installed the phone stuck
IDK with your phone but follow exactly the guide to rooting
Thnx man i reflashed my fw and then it works good
Sent from my LG-P350 using XDA App
when i install CWM in whichever color i like, the install is successful. when i boot into recovery for the first time, yes, the cwm recovery comes up. howver, any time after that when i boot into recovery i get the stock android recovery? Why? it is worthy to note that i am not rooted and im running 2.3.6 bell UNLOCKED bootloader.
Are you trying to use romracer's recovery? Or are you just installing CWM from the market? You might try flashing update.zip from stock recovery.
it happened to me when i tried flashing cwm for the first time !!
Then i tried flashing it with fastboot and it worked !!
try using fastboot commands with the recovery.img !!
rom racer's recovery is good but i myself use touch recovery !!
