I am using the CyanogenMod of Kang and I would like to know if there is a built in application which kills applications that are not used after a while!
If not which one would you suggest for this rom?
Regards

There is no native task killer .
I would recommend V6 Supercharger + TaskXP
Forever living in my Galaxy Ace using XDA App
I suggest using Supercharger or auto memory killer instead of a lousy task killer.

It's in the Android Dev section .

i have found it but i have a silly problem!
I have downloaded the busybox installer but there is an ad in the bottom and i cannot press the install button!
Any suggestions?
You dont need one. But if you MUST have one, then at least DONT use automatic task killers. In the worst case it'll kill your battery, not save it.

Do you mean that both of them are needed??
I have just installed V6 Supercharger!
Sorry but I am new at the Android world!!
You don't need a task-killer.
Google for:
"lifehacker watchdog monitor task killer"... and use that.

I think same
Yes, SetVsel is the best!
i also think it better thank setcpu..
hi! setVsel seems to be incompatible with defy + rom by walter...everytime i try to launch it, the phone reebots...any solution to this problem? thanks in advance!
The same here with stock Defy+ (only rooted). Restart after running app.
setvsel all the way.
Setvsel is better for Defy, but when using CM7 rom, you don't such programs
Im using setvsel and its the best, setcpu doesn't work on my defy on standard rom it wouldn't let me overclock.

Overclock/Undervolt has already included in CM7, so why you need to install it.

Great!!! Sorry to come off noobish but does the latest siyah kernel come with this rom or do i have to flash it in?
battery life?
bugs?
I can't really speak for bugs or battery life just yet as I've only been running the rom for about 3 hours.
When you hellraise a rom it replaces the kernal and modem that comes with the rom with ones that are compatible with the i777

I believe that the Hellraiser package contains Entropy's kernel. If you want the siyah kernel you'll have to flash that after the ROM and Hellraiser have been flashed. Just make sure that you get the version that is made for our phone (i777)
Just flashed it... now how do i get the english version lmao.... I don't understand the language
Edit: Nevermind, as soon as i sync google in corrected itself into english
Good to see that it worked out

Loving this rom
Some additional screenshots
This rom is pretty amazing. I'm curious about battery life though.

It looks pretty nice. I don't really care for status bar icons being different colors though. I'd probably change it to something consistent.

It is amazing! It has every mod available in one Rom. Make sure when hellraising to remove uckh7 modem from entropy hellraise zip if that is not your preferred modem and yours. Personally i like uckj2 but when i tried to flash over after the turkbey/hellraise install i got an error

A manual clean on boot can be useful for making sure you don't have wakelockers - but never use an autokiller.
Task killers are still necessary to have around for dealing with apps that hold wakelocks.

I don't know anything about GPU overclocking apps but I don't use juicedefender or a task killer and I get about a full day's worth of usage (14hrs+) on average with medium-heavy usage (3hrs+ screen on time).

Its probably a kernel problem. I used to have this problem on stock before. But things went good after I flashed blackhawk for stock by Ketut.

It has ram problems
Try to use link2sd
And use some aggressive ram scripts
Because of launcher will not go in to system memorrt
You have this

Rom Thread
Hi
Please I want a way or an app to close an opened app completely when I press back button on my phone.
It is mean that I don't wan this app to go to the recent open apps list.
I don't want to enter the recent app list to closed app every time by sweeping.
I'm using Samsung galaxy s2 plus with CM11
Thanks in advance

GravityBox and xposed installer if you are rooted. Look for Hold back to kill somewhere in the hardware buttons options.

People, would you mind to switch off your stupid Tapatalk signatures? You are posting it everywhere like a crowd of free bot-slaves million times a day. And It is hard to focus on subject reading all your's Tapatalk-Shmakatolk signatures every post - whatever you v been using - nobody cares. There are must be many people who can use some Tampax while posting here - and god bless them for their silence.
