Block buster movie app

Just fyi I found out today that the blockbuster app will not let you buy or rent movies if you are rooted.

Good thing you can always do your root stuff reboot then be unrooted again to use the app, benefits of temp root

I don't think a lot of people were gonna use it since you can convert movies to watch in 3d on the phone....I know I wasn't.

I know it's not a big loss (considering they have no 3d movies right now or at least none that I have found) but my thought on it is how many other services that people with this phone and others use could start doing this.

There will always be a way around it once we are s-off.

music folder help please

Hi I got my new HTC one x plus the other day and I used an app to download songs from YouTube now I've had to use a file manager app to locatethem but how do i get them to show up in on the phones music app ? I've looked for the folder to put them into but can't see the songs that came with the phone as standard. Any help appreciated. Oh its not rooted as well and don't intend doing so.
Any folder in /data/media/ will do, the device will scan for audio, as long as it's a supported file type.

I will try that now

These are mp3 files and I've tried to move but in side data there's no other folder or files and won't move. Do I put on just phone or keep on the sdcard?

Maybe you can't get there via /data/ if your unrooted. Try /mnt/sdcard/

I have a bunch of movies that I want to put on my nee One but they are all m4v and the One doesn't support that type. Does anyone have a really good coverting application for mac that I can use to fix this problem?

Have you tried viewing using MX Player? I don't have an m4v file to test, but if it works it would save you a lot of time.
I also have the same problem, I tried mx and it still didn't work. Any other suggestions.

VLC player has played everything I've thrown at it. If you google VLC Android Nightlies you should be able to track down the appropriate apk.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'll start trying some of them out.

As of yet none of the suggestions have worked for me. So I'm still on the hunt for a program that will work.

When using MX Player, change the audio setting to use the SW decoder. It seems to work for me. I'm guessing the One has a bug in the hardware accelerated audio decoder.

Use for old phone.

Now that I have my Galaxy s4 I want to use my evo 3d as a gps. It has copilot in it, an online radio player and whatever other cool apps you all suggest. Any thoughts?
