I swapped my memory card to a bigger card and thought I copied everything over but the green hornet movie won't play now. Did I miss something?

It's in a hidden folder, so you gotta make sure you're showing hidden files and folders.
On your computer be sure to show hidden folders. It's in a folder called .data/htcwatch. If you view properties of it you'll see a huge size. Copy the entire htcwatch folder into the .data folder of your target card..
If you can't find there is a thread in the dev section that has all the contents for you.

Hey anyone know the folder play music is kept? I got songs from play and can't find em, even on play music!
Thanks

I am pretty sure you need to have the play music app and make sure your signed in correctly. you should also try deleting the app data and restarting the app over again to try to get it working. Hope this helps.

It's in the SD card app directory, and but the files contain no metadata nor filenames of use..... On purpose. Don't recall the exact folder either.

HI all.
I'm having a issue when syncing music to my phone that even tho there in albums, it's splitting them up so I end up with 3 albums each containing a few track.
Tried syncing by kies and by putting the albums in folders onto my external sd.
Anyone got any ideas how to stop it doing this?

Most likely due to id3 tags. Check it out in a different player. If it does the same thing, might need to re tag your music.

Thanks for the reply,
All my music are mixtapes so that maybe the problem.
Just 're added them all and now my phones seeing them in some UN readable file.
It's doing my head in now-the one thing I miss about apple is the ease to add music to your device without a problem

So I lost all my pictures during the update process. I thought it was going to be similar to flashing a ROM where the DCIM folder is untouched.
Is there anyway to recover photos lost?
**** ME.
How did you update?

The computer. The OTA update kept freezing. I'm religious about backing up....lost about month of pictures.
The instructions on the website state if you use the computer method you will lose all data. I looked at it earlier because the thing is moving so slow.

4.3 puts pics in a different folder, you didn't lose them. I cant remember the names of folders, but if you search you will find them. then use file explorer to copy them do the new default folder. SDCARD vs SDCARD0 i think

I thought it was weird that 6.6gb were used in "other" after the update. I can't find them exploring the phone. Any idea where they're hidden?
The DCIM folder is empty.

That is normal that the other says about 7gb, the pictures are gone most likely... Do you have google+ backup enabled?

So when you open your gallery there is nothing? When connecting via usb to computer it's empty. Going from 4.1. To 4.3 changegs the way the root folder is shown. It would show up as sdcard0.

Then I would assume they are gone. If they got moved they'd still be showing up in some gallery app or computer.

You can try to find some file recovery software and see if that finds anything.
I'll give that a go when I go home. Its just I lost a lot of pictures with sentimental value to me :-/

Hey, have you had any luck recovering your photos? I also have same issue, phone is frozen and want to make sure I can save my photos before manually updating it.
Haven't tried yet.

My Desire x is unmoded but is there a way I can tell it to stop using the 2 gig internal memory and use the 32gig I have in the ad card
Thanks

What do you want to save there? If it is system files, you will need to root your phone. Else just save everything under /sdcard/...
Its for the apps guess i will have to root
Sent from my HTC Desire X using xda app-developers app
Yeah. Then, if you're rooted, you can use apps like Link2sd. Or, before you root, you can check if some of the apps support direct moving to sd. Some do. But not all of them...
Tryed moving them but it never works so guess I have to root going to be a fun task be a new phone soon I bet
