Hi I got my new HTC one x plus the other day and I used an app to download songs from YouTube now I've had to use a file manager app to locatethem but how do i get them to show up in on the phones music app ? I've looked for the folder to put them into but can't see the songs that came with the phone as standard. Any help appreciated. Oh its not rooted as well and don't intend doing so.
Any folder in /data/media/ will do, the device will scan for audio, as long as it's a supported file type.

I will try that now

These are mp3 files and I've tried to move but in side data there's no other folder or files and won't move. Do I put on just phone or keep on the sdcard?

Maybe you can't get there via /data/ if your unrooted. Try /mnt/sdcard/

I'm working on a port, and I got it booting up everything working great.
Except I cannot access my SD card at all. I can't take screenshots or use apps that need the SD card either.
And my SD card is not full. I still have 2 gigs left.
Also, when I press storage in settings, the app crashes.
Any help? And I ported the ROM from the MyTouch4G Slide to the MyTouch4G.
Or have I missed some SD card file or something...
Anyways thanks if you could help

im confused, as u can see in screenshots below if i press the 'move' option it said 'this app will be moved to phone storage'. and if i press ok and wait it moving. the app actually moved to my sd card. shouldnt it be 'this app will be moved to sd card'?

The apps will be moved to the phone's internal storage, so they will not be affected if the phone is connected to the PC

what i meant is that, if you are on jellybean desire x, go to any third party app info such as XDA in sense>app drawer>manage apps>and find XDA app, and theres 'move' option if its not grayed out. then if you press it, it says 'this app will be moved to phone storage', and if i press ok, then the app actually moved to my sd card instead of Phone storage. im confused....

I understand what you mean ! But I guess its actually moved to SD card ! If you see android secure through recovery you'll find all the moved apps in your SD card !

From what I have read (though your English is barely understandable (commas man, commas!)), all of your apps filled /data partition. Which means, you should move apps to /sdcard from Settings
Sorry I'm dyslexic. All my apps are on the sd card so not sure what is taking up the space

How can I increase my storage memory for apps? Is there a way to make the device install all apps in SD card? If yes then how?
Help please?

Is there a way to make a partition in the memory card so we can use that space for app install?
