I have istall boot.img (from update-cm-7.1.0-XperiaNeo-MT15i-signed) but phone stay with sony ericsson logo .. Pls help me .. I have just test to istall doom kernel but don't start ... what I can do ?? thx
Don't know what went wrong for you.
Have you unlocked your bootloader?
Use flashtool and flash an original generic SE firmware and try again.

What I miss most from the stock ROM is xLoud! The phone is considerably quieter now just like it was before SE released xLoud and possibly even more so. Also,some Gameloft games are not working (FC) like Asphalt 6.
Would it be possible for anyone to write a complete step by step guide to flashing cyanogenmod to the neo from the perspective of a user who has not rooted or unlocked the boot loader yet?

Me got same error and i think its there because CM7 is incompatible with SE kernel
Extract boot.img from CM7 Package and flash it via fastboot(after making backup of previous rom and clearing all data and cache) and after flashing boot.img, boot into CWM And flash update.zip
Post back after trying this...Good luck

No TB Wake up included. I currently not even tried to boot the rom... I currently dont have enough time to install & test. But i hope i´ll get some feedback and logs to get this done...

Argh ! I see. META-INF\com\google\android\update-script is missing... I dit a misstake and named it updater-script :-(
Download and extract the attached ZIP file & integrated the files to the full-package (downloaded from first post). After that, try install.
UPDATED 11. SEP 2011 THIS FILES MUST BE INTEGRATED INTO FULL PACK, IT INCLUDES THE LATEST FIXES !
-> CURRENTLY NO FIX FILES AVAILABLE !

Inserted this file to ur rom,but now it says eror line 6 or code 6 ,and install stops again- not sure anymore... Serbia has lost from France for a single poen so i am not quite ok

Currently no, because i dont have time & have only one phone, i need for work. Ill try the rom on my weekend... I thought that there are some devolpers are here and interested in helping me...
The Rom was build with the two bases and should , after install is working, at least boot up with "some" issues. So we can get ADB Log´s to work with...

Yeah but I think will be more difficult and hard to debug in that way.
I have the same situation as yours (only one phone and use it to work), so when I need to test it, I usually go for 10pm to install at least one time to check if everything is working.

The rom does not installs again- still using cm7 nightly,amon ra recovery,ext4 partition 768mb (0 swap size),radio 5.12 and latest hboot....
It says : E:eror in/sdcard/nexus-one.zip (Status 6)...
I have included latest fixes u provided in nexus one zip file,also full wipe (of course)...

Currently this is only a DEV Rom to get Logs & new Informations.
Right now i try to fix the install script, so that we can boot up this new ROM , after that we can se what is working & what needs to be fixed...

I have a problem with flash Gingercruzt 2.2 to 2.3.
1) Use XXKPP Stock ROM and modem from Latin America (Chile)
2) Flash Gingercruzt 2.2 (Wipe + / format system) PASS
3) Flash Gingercruzt 2.3 FAIL
Result: Bootloop
I also tried flashing from CM7.1, but the same result.
I left the 2.2, very fast, stable and good (and sexy). Plus a couple of tweaks & scripts

4. Flash GingerCruzt 2.3
I had a bootloop when I installed GingerCruzt 2.3 without rebooting first, and I noticed you did not put rebooting in your procedure.

Common Problems that user had :
1.error 7 ( I don't have the problem?) : extracted the rom.zip you download,flash the boot.img via fastboot.

when i was about to restart it says root access maybe lost would you mind to fix it?
I enter yes ... stuck
I flash again and enter no ... stuck
flash only rom but not gaaps ... stuck
BTW: I did wipe in every sections! to make sure it's cleen

because they touch on the JB works better than GB, you can edit the build.prop (debug.performance.tuning) and (video.accelerate.hw)

I am on v40 and FeraKenel v25. It feeling nice, but i have a one bug. Unfortunately sometimes, when the phone is on "non using mode" When i click "power" to see my apps etc. it's just turning off or crashes (black screen) and after few seconds it's turning on normally.... (FeraKernel Logo etc.) It's kinda annoying, when it happens few times per day... Someone had this problem too? Any advices to solve it?

I flashed the stock rom, rooted, and installed xrecovery. My flashtool does not have cwm so I can't install it. I can't install v40.2 zip from xrecovery, I get an error: E:Error in /.... (Status 0) Installation aborted.
As feravolt said "You may probably want to install LB kernel if you don't have CWM6 recovery." I tried installing "[GB]FeraKernel-v28_LB.zip". It completes but nothing changes. I still have the xrecovery.

Could you make an option in aroma which can remove gapps( GooglePlay, GMS, etc... ) from rom in the installation of final rom ?
I think actually the gapps make the rom heavy and I use them rarely. V40.02 was very slim and has a lots of free phone memory.

Greatjob on developing the firmware.
There were no issues during installation of kernel and firmware.zip file.
There is no google play store. Android version in this firmware was 2.5.1
I have downloaded 2.3.5 gapps zip file(gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip file) and tried other zip files too.
Play store or Market apps were installed. But when i try to install any app from the store and click install after opening the app, it shows just downloading progress bar. But it is not downloading.
I tried clearing data and cache. But of no use.
Could you please send the link for gapps.zip file which will work with this firmware.?

go to themes app and looks online for free themes maybe u will find something idk
or try mi-tools apk but i'm not sure if its can do that

I'm try mi-tools apk (Nexus navbar options), but it's not work.
My phone has brick
i'm on .167 but when i flash miui rom my phone turn off and can't turn on. i flashed stock!

Looks like you haven't wiped data.

Then you either have a wrong kernel or your rom didn't install correctly.

idk man go back to stock /root/dualboot recovery then from PhilzRec. Clean to install new rom then flash stock rooted 167 boot it up turn of then again Clean to install new rom from Philz /flash rom chose your model unlocked or locked /flash gaps then restart your phone 1st boot can take a while or if your battery low it can not boot it up too. If you need rooted with dualboot recovery stock 167 4.4.4 i can upload it

If you have an unlocked bootloader, the one in the zip should work fine. Otherwise you need to flash the kernel from a .167 ftf (with flashtool; select only the kennel.sin and don't check wipe data)

i can't do the OTA update from 5.5.1 to 5.5.8 and all the zips that i found and download on my computer are corrupted ...

I personnaly use GMD auto hide softkeys , it's a paid app but it works fine , just allow pop-up and make it unkillable .

I had a problem installing the ota too. Once it failed, I just went to recovery and flashed manually the zip in the "downloaded_rom" folder.

That's my error :

I tried with the zip in the external sd and in the "downloaded rom" folder , same error
