Hi everyone,
I'm getting pretty frustrated. My akg headphones broke, so I started hunting around for new headphones. I like stylish over-ear headphones, with volume control and call control, so I purchased urbanears plattans, as well as incase reflex headphones. To my annoyance, BOTH headsets didn't work. I know it says made for iphone...but is it really that different?? They didn't work with my rooted motorola bravo OR my boyfriends atrix. Can someone PLEASE recommend some headphones that have these features?

I know there are several threads on bluetooth headphones - I've read through these, but just want to check whats the latest recommendation people have?
Im looking for good quality headphones with remote facility for the Touch HD and decent battery life.
I need to replace my old model which i sat on!
Thanks
Just got the Plantronics stereo bluetooth headset...it is good.
Sound is very clear...but the bass is on lower side.
It looks very smart though...with its boom extended.
I have also tried Sony Ericsson (the ones with CLI) and its sound was very loud and bassy.
okay well i currently have the Beats by Dr Dre Solo HDs that i use for music. thing is the controls to change song and volume only worked on my old iPhone 4 n not my TB. i was also interested in bluetooth headphones but i dont know if the feautures will work well or if it will work at all (althought i THINK it should at this age and time). so any of you guys out there using Bluetooth headphones that work decent?
Apple switches some of the leads that control volume and track so that you have to buy apple's headphones(or apple-licensed headphones.) The headphones you have were probably designed for use on apple products, and have funky pin-outs, so they won't control other devices. As for bluetooth headphones I use my super old sonys and they work just fine. I bought them after bluetooth just first hit the market, and they have some of the best fidelity I have ever heard in other, more expensive headphones (I'm an audiophile.) A2DP works just fine, so you can buy whatever stereo bt headphones you like.
I got some pretty good logitech Bluetooth headphones that work great. Decent sound too....
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
ive got sony's n i hear them but they cant hear me?why doesnt the mic work? wut the bleep?never mind i think i found the answer
Hi all!
Im looking to get some better quality earphone with mic like Ultimate ears or V-moda or some other kind....
Do you guys have any idea which good ear phone with mic works on S2?
can you guys give me some names?
Thanks.
any one???
yes any headset that wupports the mobile standard will work. this includes in line mic, and button control. search for headsets like bose MIE2 headset, or any other manufacturer that supports the mobile standard, and it works just fine.
I recommend Atomic floyd, such nice headphones.
I am using Griffin Smart Talk with my Sennheiser in ear headphones.
Basically you plug this on your phone, plug the headphones to this and you're up and running.
Works very well!
any more recommendation guys? Griffin Smart Talk looks quite alright tho...

I tried both SuperBTMono and BTMono and neither worked. I have a MoPho with the newest stock firmware (unrooted) and a Jawbone Prime. Has anyone got mono streaming working yet?
Funny you asked as I was just looking into this yesterday, to answer your question, No, I have not. I currently have Plantroinc BT earpiece AND Motorola Strero Headphones. Headphones work great, but Plantronic is call only.
The 2 new high end Motorola BT ear pieces support mono and streaming. one is like $130.00 and the other is like $100.00. This would be nice if im in someone else's car and/or walking around city with someone. rude to wear my headphones while trying to hold a conversation.
Anyone know of a good set of bluetooth stereo earbuds? I don't want headphones and I'd like something that can be used for phone calls as well.
I'm not exactly hard of hearing, but I do hear much better with earbuds in both ears than with just one.
Any suggestions?
I use the Jabra Clipper. It charges with the same cable that comes with the Note and it also allows you to use any type of miniplug headphone, as it's a powered BT receiver. It has a mic built in, too.

I use these both of these, mainly at the gym, I like them a lot...
http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-903-plus - I like these the best

I bought these, Samsung HS3000, a while back for my Captivate and in anticipation of the Note.
I like them because I can pop in my Sony studio cans or IEMs. Almost went with the Jabra Clipper mentioned above. With either of set you can jack them into a stereo Auxiliary and use your phone as a wireless remote.
I guess I'm most interested in Voice Quality. I want two earbuds in my ear. I want to easily hear someone when I am talking to them. I don't want the person on the other end of the call to know that I'm using bluetooth.
What are your voice call experiences with these?
