Hi,
I am looking for a bluetooth stereo headset. Where can i find one
which is good sound output , reliable and long batt life. I want to be able
to listen to mp3's and calls thru my XDAIIs.
Any ideas?

Wow, a bit pricey. Do you have 1st hand experience with this device? The reason that I am asking is that tha xda II / III's have traditionally had bad bluetooth reception. Before I dish out 300 bucks I would want to make sure that it did not suffer from the same bluetooth static that the headsets are having with the xda's.

I tried many bluetooth stereo headset, and wasted hell of money on trying many of them, considering the bad bluetooth reception of the PDA2K, the best bluetooth stereo headseat works with it is motorola HS820 it works well within the range of 1 to 1.5 meters from the PDA2K.
"6 talking hours - 100 hours stand by".
I'm still waiting for the up-grade which was promissed to be developed to improve the performance of PDA2K's bluetooth reception.

Don't worry, I talked with the live chat on iMates site and they asured me that the bluetooth issue would be resoved soon.
Now that was 6 months ago and 2 ROM updates, I am still holding my breath....
The Motorola HS820 isn't a STEREO bluetooth headset, but I agree that it's one of the better regular bluetooth headsets for the phone. I also bought the Motorola HS850, which is the update to the 820. The bluetooth performance was definitely better than the 820's performance but I ended up giving it back anyway because the volume is too low for me.
bluetooth stereo headset
don't buy this product. http://www.blueant.com.au/. I called up the guy to enquiry this product. AT first, they did not include HP IPAQ 6365 in the list of compatibility. After I talked to him, they claimed it was working properly but they did not money into their mouth so the next day, they included as part of the list of compatibilty.
second, the guy also told me that it did not include a dongle which can support A2P2 therefore it will not work for HP IPAQ 6365 as it did not have A2P2 software hence it will not answer phone call and listen to MPEQ music in stereo manner.

The Motorola HS820's volume is not low for me, but I do receive some complains "sometimes" from the other parties saying that my voice is low and they ask me to raise my voice, but some other times it works fine.
Hold on....
Are you guys talking about headset or handsfree?
So far I understand hs-850 is a handsfree bluetooth (not a headset bluetooth).
Correct me if I am wrong.
Arto.
I'm ordering these:

They waiting for me at home, (I'm currently in the US) so I will let you know next week.
Well I'm listening to The Killers over HQ A2DP stereo
I had to use the BT hack stack here to get it working.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=15671&highlight=stereo+headset
I have paired the handsfree profile as well. The problem is however the handsfree is not working very. Also the pause and stop buttons don't work with WMP10.
Will post updates if I get any other stuff working.
I just got the Zonet ZUB8100 from Newegg -- only $120 after rebate (which ended yesterday). Works very well as stereo headpnones with my SX66, not so well as a voice headset. You can connect the BA to it in both A2DP and handsfree profiles simultaneously, so it should be possible to answer the phone while listening to music. No caller ID, AFAICT -- well for $120 you can't expect perfection
There's no mic boom, so the mic is in the left earpiece, a bit too far from your mouth. That in combination with the standard headset issues with the BA results in quite a bit of static and the person on the other end barely able to hear you.
Well guys, I dont recommend the Sonorix or infact any BT Stereo headset unless you like pain.
They are a peice of crap.. wasted $150 dollars Sad
Sound is muddy and they not very comfortable. (Granted I'm used to my Sennheiser HD500's). Not to mention it takes ages of fiddling to get A2DP working and then it doesnt work well.
I think Bluetooth is a waste of time. When Bluetooth2 comes out and is properly supported i might give it a second chance.
In the meantime I'm going to use these instead:

I bought the Motorola HT 820. Works pretty good for answering phone and stereo music on sx66 after some bluetooth updating and adding profile. Not too comfy but tolerable for $89--took a couple of weeks to arrive.
Haven't used them for prolonged periods but they work for a couple of hours at a time.
Hi everyone,
I'm getting pretty frustrated. My akg headphones broke, so I started hunting around for new headphones. I like stylish over-ear headphones, with volume control and call control, so I purchased urbanears plattans, as well as incase reflex headphones. To my annoyance, BOTH headsets didn't work. I know it says made for iphone...but is it really that different?? They didn't work with my rooted motorola bravo OR my boyfriends atrix. Can someone PLEASE recommend some headphones that have these features?
Everytime i use a bt headset when the other part talk to me and i try to speak at the same time they can' t hear me. Today i made a test: i asked my wife to count from one to ten and i did the same together. Althought i was able to hear her, she wasn't able to hear me! I tried four different headsets and the problem is common. Sorry for my bad english.
Are you using cheap BT headsets? I have my Jawbone and its works fine with no issues. If you have the money for 4 different headsets, i would get rid of them and buy the jaw bone or another higher end BT headset. also in my car, i have a pioneer BT120. full nav, BT music streaming and phone calls. no issues with that either.

Same problem with Parrot ck3000 EVO (lastest v5.25 firmware), but only if i start a call via voice command (with green button on handsfree remote). If i start call manually from phone microphone works without problem

Three different plantronics models and the other one is ford car bt system!
Anyone know of a good set of bluetooth stereo earbuds? I don't want headphones and I'd like something that can be used for phone calls as well.
I'm not exactly hard of hearing, but I do hear much better with earbuds in both ears than with just one.
Any suggestions?
I use the Jabra Clipper. It charges with the same cable that comes with the Note and it also allows you to use any type of miniplug headphone, as it's a powered BT receiver. It has a mic built in, too.

I use these both of these, mainly at the gym, I like them a lot...
http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-903-plus - I like these the best

I bought these, Samsung HS3000, a while back for my Captivate and in anticipation of the Note.
I like them because I can pop in my Sony studio cans or IEMs. Almost went with the Jabra Clipper mentioned above. With either of set you can jack them into a stereo Auxiliary and use your phone as a wireless remote.
I guess I'm most interested in Voice Quality. I want two earbuds in my ear. I want to easily hear someone when I am talking to them. I don't want the person on the other end of the call to know that I'm using bluetooth.
What are your voice call experiences with these?
has anyone got one of these? I was looking into getting a headset or headphones that operate like the apple headphones with the mic whilst someone calls or acting a means of listening to music. See this, looks cold, but not sure you can use it to speak to someone whilst the phone is in your pocket.
the tsettu
i think its just a bluetooth device that you plug your standard headset/headphones that came with your phone, i think the bluetooth device comes with headphones with the mic attatched anyway
Get MW600, I've got one and it works brilliantly
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium App

That's how all headsets with a mic work, ever since they first came out in the old days. "that operate like the apple headphones" makes it sound like Apple invented this, which they did not. They were about 10 years late to the party.
I find the bluetooth headsets are great, like the MW600. Great sound, no wire dangling into your pocket, works great for calls.
I got these with my phone for free, Its not he livesound ones though its just smart headset and the first time i used it compared to my 30 quid soundmagics it was ok, but once you let it burn in like all other headphones it improves dramatically, and the sound quality and bass improved and found its nearly as good as my 30 quid soundmagics.
