[Q] convert music video to boot animation. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is something i'm looking into doing,Im just not sure exactly how to start. I found a program to make boot animations on another thread. What program would I need to get each frame of a music video.
From my fist to your face, enjoy.

Well I would use adobe to import the video and save each frame 1 by 1

How do you put movies on the phone?

Hey i was just wondering how do i put movies on my phone. Got alot of test this week in school, trying not to be completely bored. Also if know of a site where there is free movies that'll be great too.
The absolute easiest way I have found is to get FreeMake Video Converter from freemake.com and copy the resultant converted for you device movie to the Movies folder on you SD card.
I don't have a computer on me, but Google" handbrake movies on samsung vibrant" and you will get get your answer.

How to create bootanimation..

Sup ppl I have this cool boot animation I want to create and just wondering how to set it up
it's simple. You crop the video the to the screen's resolution and then export each frame as a jpeg. Virtualdub can do this. After that, you name the pictures sequentially and edit the desc.txt file to play it appropriately. Details here:

Awesome thanks bro

Stock built in movie making app

What's your experience with the movie making app that comes stock? Anyone find it useful for short simple movies or just trimming?

I messed around with it today.
1, It would only export in 720P.
2, when I uploaded to YouTube it had two black bars on the sides.
I ended up just moving files onto computer, and using Vegas 10 Pro to edit.

Tubemate, using on CM9 without a problem.
MoPhoACTV Initiative
Maybe try using a user script (usersscripts.org) which allows you to download the video, possibly also the audio track? These are snippets of Javascript which inject themselves into specific sites when you're viewing them. I use one named "YouTube to MP4" on Firefox on my desktop PC. Since the Android browsers are fully functional I expect the same option applies there.
For this option, Firefox requires Greasemonkey addon, but I believe it's a native option on Opera and Chrome.
Also try tubeGod(tubex) its no longer in the market so you have to search for it(its free so no problems)
Much better quality than tubemate imo and mp3s dont come as large as tubemate either
I extracted the audio from a video a few days ago
Tubemate(17mb)
TubeGod(1mb)

Tubemate's file size is big because it downloads the whole MP4 video and renames it as MP3.

What kind of files is it? All my recorded videos is showing preview along with the demo but just a static on a downloaded avi
Mp4 plays previews

thanks for the reply
i have more than 300 videos in the phone so i found out it won't show the preview right away. it will take time to make those previews.
for me it was longer than usual because there were too many.
last night only few started showing but today all of them are showing the preview
Glad to hear!
