Sup ppl I have this cool boot animation I want to create and just wondering how to set it up
it's simple. You crop the video the to the screen's resolution and then export each frame as a jpeg. Virtualdub can do this. After that, you name the pictures sequentially and edit the desc.txt file to play it appropriately. Details here:

Awesome thanks bro

Hi guys is there any way I can get wallpapers to resize to fit the streaks screen without cropping.
Do I need to modify the image manually? If so to what resolution?

I use a free app called Wizardrii and use 960x800 images and set them as "scrollable." It also supports larger images.

Try using Mulipicture-Livewallpaper that should be the answer for your query, its a live wallpaper to put static pictures as wallpapers, its free and available in market, provides some nice options as well.

Evo owner here, haven't upgraded yet, but I have a question. When taking a 3D picture, is it possible to view each 2D image that is taken with each camera or are the images automatically combined into the 3D image file?

Pretty sure, you can't split the two images. Unless, there is a way in the many steroscopic software's we have listed in the themes and apps forum, I believe

If you open the picture in the gallery and "Share" it it will ask if you want to share in 3d or 2d, select 2d and share it with your own email (or the person you are actually trying to send it to).
Granted it will only use one camera angle (and if you use Messages to share it will automatically knock it down to 2d).

You can also just hit the "magic wand" button and chose "Save as 2D"
Thanks guys ... Just wondering as I was wanting to take each individual image and combine them into a gif image with high frame rate to make 3D effect for viewing online

do that and post one, im curious. if it doesn't work as an .mpo, change the filetype to .jps and try that?
I have an idea. If you view the pic on a 2d screen, doesn't it show it as a side by side? Photoshop, cut the pic in half. Maybe that would work?

To all those that didn't know you can veiw 3d in 2d and back into 3d, to see which you like better just tap the screen on your 3d pic's/video's and then tap the 3d icon next to the title at the top right when the menu is up (which will toggle it between 2d and 3d like the LG Thrill 3D does).
This is something i'm looking into doing,Im just not sure exactly how to start. I found a program to make boot animations on another thread. What program would I need to get each frame of a music video.
From my fist to your face, enjoy.
Well I would use adobe to import the video and save each frame 1 by 1

Does anyone know how to create live wallpapers from .dream files? I'm highly interested in this however I'm unable to find anything that will do this for me.
Live wallpaper isn't just a video file or Adobe Flash file, it's an application, like any other android app it requires development skills.
Dream**** (I forgot how this thing is called in Vista) files are just .avi files with a small manifest.
So there's no way to convert it.
If its an avi I'm pretty surevyou can use videopaper in the market
Edit wrong name but I know the app exists

Well, thanks for the info.
But anyway I was right, it's not a conversion from .dream to .apk.

Just with the assumption of how that must work I assume that must make it possible to literally watch your battery like a countdown timer.

Sorry for the long wait time. It is possible to use them as live wallpapers. Install Deskscapes, apply the dream on your computer, then check in
C:\ProgramData\Stardock\DeskScapes\ExtractedData
and you'll find that deskscapes converts all of the .dream files into either .mpg .avi or .wmv, then load them up in a live wallpaper video app. Unfortunately most dreams are 1080p so the resolution will be wrong on your phone unless you're using something with a 1080p display.

Need help here, in S3 on talk video there function "Background replacement"?, what is this? I really no idea. How to make it work? And also when I enlarge the video on myself the width of screen become wide out, so it look my face so wide and big. It seem to many pixel width so video image produced to fit in. But I need confirmation here, Anyone?
In space, sunset and disco doesn't work!
GTalk background replacement "in space", "sunset" and "disco" doesn't work!
In Samsung Galaxy S III original stock ROM there is missing videos files:
system\media\video\AndroidInSpace.240p.mp4
system\media\video\AndroidInSpace.480p.mp4
system\media\video\Sunset.240p.mp4
system\media\video\Sunset.480p.mp4
Which these file cause the Space and Sunset background replacement doesn't work in Gtalk video chat, I'm not sure for "Disco" what kind video files.
Original stock Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S have these video files.
Samsung you missed this out on your stock ROM. Very bad!
Why two posts?
Both have incorrect information.
Those files are videos.
