i am running homebase 4.1. but internet radio and podcasts would not work when I click on them,saying that data connection not available(both 3G and WIFI are on). Does anyone know the solution?

I'm new to this : since i upgraded to the offical rom by HTC to wm6 and downgraded the radio rom to 1.40.30.00 to be able recieving calls, now the gsm and gprs are working fine but impossible to connect to wifis ...
Is there any relation between the radio rom and wifi ?

Are you able to connect to wifi but unable to use any internet apps (Poket IE) If so you will likely need to go to programs/proxy manager and disable the proxy. If can't actually connect (The wifi tower doesn't show the connection arrows) then I'm not sure... Hope this helps.

Thanks but my pocket IE is working fine, and the wifi tower arrows are in movement but not stopping!

My 838 had the same problem too after i upgraded to WM6 . Whenever i try to enable the Wifi the arrow spinned and then stopped without any message. But it was impossible to enable it. Any help??
upgrading your radio has nothing to do with wifi connection... Does that wifi connection require a WAP of some sort?
I just found out that by putting off the gsm, the wifi connects with no problem, but impossible with the gsm on !

try downloading proxy manager.cab from the internet.
open the program and disable proxy. this worked for me

Hello all,
I flashed cyanogenmod succesfully, did the wipe n all, and my wifi works for browsing the internet, but when i try an application like teamviewer, it only works trough 3G data connection. Same thing with Sygic mobile navigation for downloading maps, 3G works, but wifi doesnt.
So i can get a connection with my router and use the internet, but wifi works with limitations, anyone have a clue?

On my phone I have a voip client from my company, which works only on wifi.
My 3g connection is faster than wifi, so I would like to reach, that my mobile connection should looks like as wifi for that program.
Or is it possible somehow, to connect to my own wifi what I'm tethering from the same phone?
Or emulate that the mobile broadband is a wifi for the system?
I'm using android 2.3.7 on a hd2

I have android 4.12 CM10 stable ROM.
On say, starbucks wifi or the library wifi, the wifi indicator is blue and all of my apps have internet access. However, on my home network, it is grey and only the stock apps have internet. Can someone help me solve this issue? if it hels, it has worked on my home wifi before.

Technically it's not a router. It's a hotspot. I use Connectify Hotspot pro on my neighbor's wifi (they know about it, it's okay.)
