Note : Before this problem i had flash this file with rsd and same PC (XP SP2) twice n both of them SUCCES,,,

I have read that front USB ports can cause connectivity problems, were you using a front port? I don't quite understand what your phone is doing now though, it won't boot at all? If you can get to rsd mode try flashing again.

Try using rsdlite 5.3.1 or 5.4.4
u can find em in this forum

Thought: Make Sure You Have Enough Battery Left.

I use front n back port of usb on my pc and also use other pc still stuck on switching bp pass mode through mode..try flash other file sbf (ver 2.2.2) still same problem.. can bootup if choice menu bootloader : boot android(no bp) then try update OTA via wifi still can get normal boot its bootloop at moto dualcore logo with state modem can't boot(0) rsd mode starting..
Back choice menu bootloader boot android (no BP) see about phone system has update with 2.3.3 but baseband.prl. eri still unknown state... its look like problem hardware modem ??

Not sure on the linux sorry.
Only thing I can say that I didn't see there is maybe try starting RSD protocol manually.
From power off state press and hold power and volume up . Not sure of that will change the outcome or not but worth a shot. Hopefully u are not stuck completely. Maybe head to twitter and ask @p3droid or team black hat if they have any tips/tricks.

i had manually RSD protocol too.. but finally always at same trouble... i will try ask to p3droid .. thx for reply...

It just dawned on me you have trouble with English, so my question is, where are you from and where did you get your x2? Are you sure its not a knockoff? Bad knockoff parts might cause the issue. Just throwing an idea out

MD5 checksum... Just good practice... Let's you make sure you got the file 100% without any errors... Just Google it.....most people that put out these leaked files will include an MD5 with it....

Thanks. I had seen something about that before a while ago but now I know what to do. Good info to have. Thank u very much.
I am stumped on what is causing this problem tho.
u got the same results as OP?

Yes, I've tried RSD Lite 533 and 541....I'm on 7 ultimate 32bit with the latest 32bit drivers....I've did try running as admin just for shts n giggles .
I normaly SBF from my pc...this all occurred on my laptop...its like when rsd sends the reboot to bp command....its stops recognizing my phone....now my phone won't even boot...just stuck at MOTO screen.
Going to put in full battery and do it from my pc when I get home in about 3 more hours.
Ps....please excuse the typing / spelling errors.....doing this from my thunderbolt with HTC sense keyboard.....(ewwww) hate this thing...

Please keep us updated. I haven't had this problem yet but it is driving me nuts not knowing what is the cause or fix. Im sure its driving u mad worse tho. Good luck.
And I could care less about spelling/grammar as long as I understand what u are saying.

Just a little fun fact that I just found out about...
If your battery isn't quite full enough ... It will tell you on the boot screen when u go to rsd mode....something like not enough battery to flash.

thanks. I didn't know that
I for know that some have just had problems when low and they never mentioned it telling them that. Will take some digging to find that tho. Was back when 2.2.2 and 2.3.3 sbfs first came out.

BINGO! I knew it had to be something with computer used.
Hopefully OP HAS CHANCE to get to a complete different cpu. And not just a laptop. Or may've he needs a laptop. Not sure which was used for tests. Maybe even needs to use a win7 machine ...
Edit:
hopefully someone can step in here and let us know even MAYBE why it would fail on one but work on another. I am suspicious about the drivers. Maybe something that happens during install of drivers.

thanks bro, i thinks that's the best way to update till 4.1.83,
here a little experience i have done
first time i try flash sbf 4.1.83 failed with that error booting,
and pull battery and back again to turn off the phone, and i flash the 1.26
then success with sim card inside,
iam not happy with failing on flash 4.1.83, then i thought the 4.1.83 sbf file is corrupt then i redownload again , after finish download,
i do the second time flashing with new 4.1.83 sbf
this second time is so frustrated, couz it fail again with same error.
until i have success full recover my atrix i do over 10 time flashing
and changing between computer and my notebook
and changing from windows 7 and windows XP
flashing random sbf from 1.83 and 1.26
the lasting i lost my hope , then suddenly the flash was success, WTF ,
lasting i remember is i pull the battery and pull out the sim card , then put back the battery, and do the flash,
the last time i flash 1.26 sbf
i thing
there is something no right with driver or RSD Lite not sync or missing something
until now iam still don't know how to solve it ,
pls anyone can find out what the problem and how to solve it
After about 4-5 hours and 7-8 tries using sfb method to upgrade to 1.83, I finally have a working phone again.
As to how I got stuck on the:
boot fail 4
starting RSD
and in RSD Lite, the phone's device name showing up as "SE Flash Olympus"
I decided to do a few things.
1. Go download the newest USB drivers. the 2.00.52 is what you should be on. If you can't find them, go to Motorola website and get MotoHelper 5.0 or whatever..install and then update your drivers. Restart your pc and keep trying to update your drivers until you get to USB 2.00.52 drivers.
2. USE THE ORIGINAL DATA CABLE THAT CAME WITH THE PHONE.
3. Make sure the connections are not loose at all (could've been why mine was messing up)
4. If you already have motohelper installed...go to the 'driverinstaller.exe' change operation mode to clean and reinstall, make sure the phone is unplugged. and click on start. (note, this part will be anywhere from 2 - 5 minutes depending on speed of your computer)
5. Restart RSD Lite, make sure you're using the latest one, and 'Run as administrator'.
**Go to config>Flash/Flex options... > only "check" Restart after Flexing..**
6. Now, I learned this the hard way...and many forums have it up there... GET YOUR BATTERY TO ABOVE 80% or IT WILL FAIL. (I had to go to a friend's at midnight to charge my battery from his atrix...hahaha)
7. Now turn your phone on again and it'll go to the "failed to boot 4 starting RSD" ...
8. Next, plug it in to your USB cable and click "Show Device" and then click once under the "USB 1 line" to view the device information at the top left. (Everything should be N/A except for your bootloader and you will also read "NS Flash Olympus now, instead of the SE Flash Olympus)
9. Put that '1.83_pudding.sfb' file in the "C:\ " directory to avoid any further complications.
10. Select the "...." browse to the '1.83_pudding.sfb' file and click start. It should work.... Now if it doesn't work... try and try again...
What I did was switched back and forth from 1.23 to 1.83... when I got mine to work, the device was registering as "SE Flash Olympus".
And for the longest time under bootloader, it would register as N/A...I finally decided to switch cables and it worked... once again, make sure to follow these:
* Full battery/80% above
* Stock Atrix USB cable
* 2.00.52 USB drivers
* RSD Lite 5.3.1
EDIT: GOOD LUCK! PM me if you need more assistance as those forward to XDA app

"Failde to boot 4"

I am reading is the battery problem that has to be for 80 %+...
If I turn on the power but the volume key + I fastboot protocol enters
If it lights only the error:
"Failde to boot 4" starting mode rsd
I can do twice the iron sbf with 2.3.6 official stock continues to give me the same error.
Lei may be because the battery is not 100% so fails.
How do I charge if the wall charger no load and light me alone with the legend:
"Failde to boot 4" rsd starting mode.
It can be for this, because this is not a 100% Bateias??
Another query may be that by command fastboot mode can be fixed??

[Q] how to back to stock from arctic rom?

As question =) i would like to flash my phone back to stock until ics arrive but i dont know how to do it. Can someone give me a full tutorial?
I m using asia gsm razr xt910, thx
Maybe use this file and flash like you would any Rom?
Well if you find out your ROM region, then you can go download the appropriate ROM in the official ROM thread in the development section and use RSD lite to flash it back to factory ROM. That should work and your phone will be good as new.

What is rsd lite and how do i use it? I m noob in this ..
N how do i check my rom region? I m in the arctic now, n when i check my system info, i shows thst my system version is 651.167.20.xt910.retail.en.EU
So what should i do?million thanks to anyone who help me
Ive never done it myself but Im assuming region is the country your living in as some are gsm and some cdma.
On using rsd lite there are several how to with search.
http://www.blogotechblog.com/2011/12/restore-motorola-droid-razr-to-stock-configuration/
Got this from here.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. If you haven't already done so in the past, download and install the motorola usb drivers.
2. Download and install RSD Lite 5.6.
NOTE: In order for RSD Lite to recognize your phone, it has to be in AP Fastboot mode or it can just be booted up like normal. If your phone will not boot up, then power it off and put it into AP Fastboot mode by holding the volume up + down + power. Then select the AP Fastboot option.
3. Connect your phone to the computer with a usb cable and open RSD Lite. Make sure RSD Lite recognizes your phone before proceeding.
WARNING: Be careful not to move your phone around or mess with the usb cable while doing the following steps. You don't want to accidentally disconnect it. That might end up bad.
4. In RSD Lite, select the fastboot zip file you downloaded then press the "Uncompress and Start Flashing" button. RSD Lite will unzip the file and begin flashing.
5. Once the flashing is done and your phone is booted up, perform a factory reset to complete the process

I followed the steps shown by blueis300
After connecting the device in APFastoot mode I started RSD lite it recognized my device.
Then I selected the zip file and selected the Uncompress and flash option
After Uncompressing the flashing process starts and when it reaches 6/18 it fails.
Please Help!!

Also having the same issue, I just got root, and I tried to install Jellybean from Jokersax with my battery at 5% which was dumb, but anyways now I get failed to boot 4, I can get it into fastboot protocol support, or rsd mode, and that's it, I've tried to flash some stock files, but no good, I also have a locked bootloader & am on 2.3.5
i flashed the one from qbking77 video i only flashed the one and my batery was drained cuz it wasnt full but the proccess said succes but it went to fail to boot 4 and now it says battery to low to flash but i can get a new battery real quick i jux need to know wat sbf file to flash do u know any that i can flash and would work like i said its the only phone i have and im not available for an upgrade till later and i need my phone
Failed to boot 4 Starting RSD Mode
The Story:
I started having issues with the phone becoming slower and slower and crash prone so i figured this would be a good time to flash an alternate rom. I have had root for some time and i unlocked the boot loader probably about two weeks ago. I had tried a few roms by Th3Bill and i kept having issues so i thought id try to re-lock the boot loader as i couldn't flash any of his roms even with is recovery in place to see if unlocking it again would solve my issue. Also i was running 2.3.4 NOT 2.3.5 so it wasn't due to that.
I just followed the steps outlined here from Link:
Relocking without Full SBF flash
Factory reset phone Menu/Settings/Privacy/Factory Data Reset DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
Reboot phone into fastboot mode: VOL down/Power. Use VOL down to scroll though options til you see "fastboot" then VOL up to enable. and connect phone to computer
Open command prompt in the moto-fastboot folder and type the following using the <enter> key after each command:
moto-fastboot devices
moto-fastboot erase recovery
moto-fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery.smg
moto-fastboot reboot
Disconnect phone from computer
Start RSD Lite on your computer
Reboot phone into RSD mode: VOL down/Power. Use VOL down to scroll though options til you see "RSD" then VOL up to enable.
Connect phone to computer.
Flash nopudding4u.sbf.
Close RSD Lite and disconnect phone.
Reboot phone
Once i completed the Flash nopuding4u.sbf step it failed giving the status: "Failed flashing process. Failed Flashing process. Phone[0000]: THe "Secure_Motorola_Flash" Interface could not be found. The super-file is secure and for re-flash; the phone needs a super-file that is not secureand not for reflash. (0x7066);Phone connec"
It is not just booting to the first Motorola Dual Core Technology splash screen and showing:
Failed to boot 4
Starting RSD Mode
I've been looking for a solution to the issue for about 30 minutes and have found nothing helpful.
Nopudding4u.sbf relocks your phone, however I would recommend using the 198_7.sbf file instead. U can still unlock with pudding.sbf but you will be able to get back running.. after u flash the stock sbf u will probably need to go into recovery and do a factory reset.

It is was initially stuck on failed to boot 2 and Starting RSD mode. Then I used RSD lite to flash the stock sbf, and my computer went to sleep in the middle of the flash and failed. Now it is stuck on Failed to boot 4, Starting RSD mode, Battery is too low to flash.
I am not in the US right now, so cannot take it to the Sprint store. PLEASE HELP!!!

[Q]Solved!!!! *** Please Help *** RSD Fails - SBF Fails

When attempting to SBF to upgrade to Cyanogen 10 A2 something went wrong.
Ive tried several versions of RSD Lite and several SBF Files.
Currently I am using RSD Lite 5.7 with the 2.3.4 SBF File
This is the error message on the phone
Download code Started...
rsd mode...
Partition Tables did not match: Backup PDS and repartion memory...
ERR: hardware/tegra/prebuild/make/../../core/system/rdl/rdl_main .c: 492 StartPartionConfigurion( 25 ): 3
When booting up i get the message Failed to boot 4 -
The phone then automaticlly starts up RSD mode
When holding the volume down or up key while powering on nothing happens... no fast boot and no recovery.
So any advise would be much appreciated. Ive found a few other posts that people have have similar issues but none exactly the same.
Im interested in any advice on which RSD lite version.. which SBF file... and anything else.
Until I get some help my next thing will be to try to SBF using linux.
And obviously Id like some help with repartioning the internal phone memory, it does the same thing whether the phone has the sd card in it or not.
Solved!!!
Apparently the partitions got screwed up so that when rsd tried to write the sbf to the phone it couldnt.
After MUCH time messing with it i discovered if I held volume up while booting even though it would still stay "failed to boot 4" I could get into fastboot mode
using ADB commands in a terminal I flashed a boot.img file that i extracted from an update.zip file i found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703640
from there it let me get into recovery and then the sbf worked
What version were you running before you tried to SBF?
Pull your battery and leave it out for a few minutes. Put it back in and hold volume up and then hold power. When the screen turns on release power but continue holding volume up until starting rsd appears... still nothing?

If you can get that fr try a diff version of RSD Lite.

Also make sure your SBF file is good. I've used these https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/droid-x2-sbf-files and have never had any problems.
possibly a pad SBF file?
I'm new to this, but I experienced a similar issue this morning.
What ended up fixing the issue for me was downloading a fresh SBF file for 2.3.4. I had a copy of 2.3.4 from when I did the original SBF from 2.3.5 that I figured would work, but something had gone bad with the file. I went here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1317707 and downloaded the 2.3.4 again. That seemed to have fixed me up.
I've also had to run RSD Lite "as administrator" in Win 7 before as well.
I hope this helps
Thanks for the Replies.. I tried another SBF file from the link suggest but it does the same thing.. RSDlite says Phone[0000]-Interface AP-OS: Flashing Code Group 3 but stays on Executed 2% forever and the phone has the same message I originally posted about the Partition Tables not matching...
When I hold The volume up or down while i boot up nothing happens like its supposed to
I was running Cyanogen 10 A1 before this issue.
Does anyone have any idea how to repartition the memory, from the little ive been able to find on it it sounds like ill need to use gparted in linux.. i just havnt tried it yet.
attempted to sbf using linux and the same thing happens

Ok. Well do you have the right drivers? What kind of computer do you have? 32 bit or 64 bit? And do you have the right motorola drivers for your computer?
Sorry, I'm going back to square one just to make sure you have EVERYTHING.
ive tried it from both my desktop running windows 7 and laptop running windows vista and i booted my laptop into ubuntu and I tried the X2 SBF disk which is basically the same as doing an SBF in linux. All with the same result.
So Im pretty sure that the issue is the memory with the phone since it gives that message saying i need to repartition the phone.
In the linux terminal the phone does show up using the list usb devices and RSD lite does detect it so i think there is still some hope. But its worrisome that I cannot find ANYTHING online about redoing the partitions. But the message its gives me makes it sound like its something thats doable.

Im no developer or anything. But from what I understand, an SBF is basically just flashing an image to your device. Wether the device is low on memory shouldn't have an effect on it. It should wipe everything and start fresh. Its like taking a blank hard drive and installing Ubuntu on it. Thats how I view it anyways. I know nothing about partitioning the device. Sounds to me like a way to mess up the phone even more unless you know what you are doing. The best thing I can say is just make sure you really do have the right stuff. The right SBF file, the right RSD lite version, the right motorola drivers installed and start again. Maybe try windows XP if you have access to a computer with it on it.
EDIT: Actually I just did it on a Windows 7 computer last week and it worked fine so I dont know.
It shouldn't matter, but try a 2.3.5 sbf?

So I discovered if I power on while holding the up button the phone still says failed to boot 4 but then it starts fastboot support.
IN adb using "fastboot device" the phone does show up and I can send commands to it.
i found a post about manually flashing a recovery.img but i cant find one for the x2
anybody have any ideas?

Reboot every 3 minutes + Baseband, IMEI issue

This is kind of different from random reboots, because no matter what I am doing on the device or if its ideal, it does reboot around every 3 minutes.
Current version is 4.0.4 and the model of the device is Verizon xt912
System version: 6.16.211.xt912.Verizon.en.US
Kernel version: wt-3.0.0
Build no.: 6.7.2-180 ....
Build date: Jun 14, .... 2012
Another thing is, under the settings, the device is showing Baseband and IMEI - Unknown. Don't know what may have caused this. BTW, currently I am out of country (US) and I have no SIM inserted in the slot (for international GSM), I don't suppose inserting no SIM can lead to base band and IMEI = unknown?
I am no idea if this Unknow Baseband and IMEI is causing the reboot or vice-versa or if there's dependence.
What I have tried:
Wiping Cache through recovery
Reset to factory settings
Option 1 of Matt's Razr Utility 1.82
If anyone can tell me how can I make this phone usable, I would be thankful.

Not really, but would it be any different than restoring to ICS .211 using Matt's Razr Utility?
Can you tell me where I can find the official FXZ for Razr to flash?
It will be different cause stock fxz includes every part of the firmware while matts utility can only install certain parts of it like the system, boot etc.
The RSD simply doesn't detect the device. USB drivers are installed and gets detected fine with Matt's Razr Utility.
Tried different RSD versions. I also tried replacing all the radio, system, boot img and all other files in the Matt's Razr Utility with the FXZ which I was trying to restore back to. It said it did successfully flashed to 211 but the problem is still there.
I think if there's any way to change the base band from Unknown to the original, this problem can be corrected. Any ideas for this?
I cant say why RSD wont detect your device but "Baseband unknown" could be a Bad ESN or a blocked device and a corrupt PDS partition in the worst case..
That said if you do have any of the above your CDMA.XX.XXX baseband is most probably useless what you could try is to get your device to switch to a GSM baseband N.01.XXX and make use of the device with any operational GSM service in your country.
In order to do that root your device install Safestrap and flash any of the GSM roms available.
Try that and tell me the results.

I'll try that and let you know.
While trying to get it to work, I cannot find the EFS folder. I am using Android Commander on PC to browse the files and folders of the device. Its right at the very root, i.e at the location " / " right? Where there are folders like Sys, System, Root, preinstall, preoc etc
You've installed motorola usb drivers,
When the phone is powered off, hold both VOLUME UP + DOWN buttons and press POWER button. You'll get into bootmenu. Release the buttons and navigate with VOLUME DOWN to AP FASTBOOT mode, press VOLUME UP to get into AP FASTBOOT MODE. Connect the phone to pc, launch RSD Lite ( newest version 6.1.4 )
If it detects the phone, flash stock xt912 ics rom.

I don't know why but the RSD lite does not detect the phone. USB drivers are installed and working fine because matt's razr utility detects the phone (before it wasn't).
You may need to run RSD Lite as Administrator for it to work on Win 7/8.
You need to get it to successfully complete flashing the radios in recovery after it finishes the other partitions.
It should reboot into recovery by itself and flash the BP.img and LTE.img and then reboot again normally after it has completed.
That should fix the Baseband unknown and blank IMEI issue.

No. I think I'll try that.
I am uploading a zip file that is just the radio_update_211_RAZR.zip in the radio.img from the 211 FXZ.
You will need to put the file on the root of your sdcard. Since the phone isn't booting, the easiest way is to take out the sdcard and put it in a card reader on your PC to transfer the file. Then reinsert the sdcard in your phone and reboot the phone holding Vol up and down + PWR to get to the boot menu and select recovery.
The phone will boot to M logo and then blank screen briefly and then show the stock recovery with Android and red Exclamation !. Press both Vol up and down at the same time to enter recovery and chose Apply Update from External Storage option and browse to the update_radio_211_RAZR.zip and select it.
It should load lte.img and bp.img and then reboot automatically.
This should allow the phone to boot normally and display the baseband and IMEI again if everything works as described.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7632904/update_radio_211_RAZR.zip
This will avoid the need for RSD Lite if it works. If not, then you can try using fastboot to manually flash the images from the FXZ.
press all three bttn,on black and white menu scroll down and select "BP HW Diag & Boot AP" boot will boot up ,see if phone restarts on its on or not and lemme know ...

so both of us are in a same boat my phone acts the same and if i use matts utility i file gets created everytime in my phones internal storage named "update_radio.zip.failure"
If you're using BMM or SAFESTRAP 3.10 with stock ROM flashing enabled I can make you a flashable patch that will allow GSM services to work on the stock ROM itself !?
I'm only trying to help cause I've owned 2 RAZR's previously with the same condition. As I stated earlier if a radio flash or FXZ doesn't fix it then it is a corrupt PDS partition and it cannot be fixed to work on the CDMA baseband.
