I recently flashed axura and was good...but wanted to try something else.
Tried this one rom...I renamed it with spaces.
CWM says it to rename it without spaces or do it manually...did it manually.
Phone will show the splash screen where it says Vibrant and will stay there forever.
When I hold down the volume buttons and power up......here's the message it says:
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11
(Invalid argument)
# MANUAL MODE #
-- Appling Muti-CSC...
Installing Muti-CSC
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11
(Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11
(Invalid argument)
I tried deleting all user data and cache data...but gives me the same can't mount error message
I'm really worried that my phone is going to become trash.
Is there anything I can do.
Hard reset?.....I don't know
Help me out please

Sounds like a nice boot-loop. From my experience, I would say flash back to a true stock rom via Odin and start over from a clean slate.
Please refer to the bible sticky and Odin back to stock and try again . The vibrant is really hard to brick dont worry
Thanks guys
Odin did it..I was worried at first because odin froze a few times, but after persisting it finally went through.
You guys saved my life!
Hi all
I was being foolish. was using the worng PIT file and trying to go straight to JI6. What fixed it was - using the right PIT and the JFD.tar for the PDA.
Mods - if this thread needs to be deleted, please do so.
Thanks.
Hi all
I think I am into some big trouble with my vibrant. I had Bionix-v installed and was very happy, then I messed around with Dragon kernel 2.8, then Dragon kernel 3.1.2, followed by DOW 14.
wanted to get back to bionix-v after a fresh install, so decided to ODIN back to stock. Then ran into trouble with ODIN - wont assign a com. Unistalled the samsung drivers and reinstalled, did not work. Tried a different laptop and it worked eventually.
ODINed back to JI6, (Re-partition was selected by default and I managed to overlook it ) but then got error:
E:Can't mount /dev/block/st110(File exists)
Error mounting /datadata/!
Skipping format...
E:Can't mount /dev/block/st110(File exists)
Can't mount /datadata/!
Tried to do restore from an image on my internal sd through clockword mod recovery: again got the same error.
E:Can't mount /dev/block/st110(File exists)
Error mounting /datadata/!
Skipping format...
E:Can't mount /dev/block/st110(File exists)
Can't mount /datadata/!
Looked on web - "eugene's froyo that does not brick"
http://eb-productions.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=samsungsgs&action=display&thread=8
I have not used sdk or adb before and am not confident either.
Sorry for making it such a long post but I wanted to make sure that I give all the details.
Can someone advise me further?
Freaking out in NYC.
Menn, I'v got the same problem.
Can anybody help please??
try repartition with another .pit-file. Solved the problem for me.
Odin back to jfd
Hey all,
So I'm currently having this issue where I restored from a soft brick and have had massive amounts of trouble doing much of anything other than stock. I've managed to flash UKB 2.0 this morning without it messing up but I can't install the 2.1 patch because CWM won't load.
Everytime I try to go into CWM now (Have tried all ways of doing it) it just says
"E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11
(Invalid Argument)
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
(Invalid Argument)
#Manual Mode#
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11
(Invalid Argument)
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl11

What do?

Go to the development section nitsuj has a sticky titled list of cdma sch I-500 roms that's not the exact title but you'll find it...scroll down to ths list if recoveries click it and download jt's 3-30 all fix.tar file and save it in your odin folder.
Remove your battery and Flash the recovery via odin and just for good measure reinstall your battery and immediately hold up down and power until you see the cwr screen at that point wipe everything and reflash your rom and you'll be good
Note after you flash com rom 2.0 you will have a different recovery version but that one works fine too

E: copy_dbdata_media: Can't mount DBDATA:
your storage not prepared yet, please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.

PLEASE HELP!!
I've did quite a bit of searching around the web, as well as on XDA. I've tried reflashing, using different USB ports, restarting... all the lot.
suggestions or an I looking at a perma-brick?
I can access recovery and download mode with the button combinations.
TIA!!
Nevermind...
Fixed.
did a clear cache, clear all user data, format internal SD card
then flashed with a freshly downloaded JFD tar and pit file.
