My apps in the app listing are no longer alphabetized. What gives? Any way to restore them to alphabetical order?
1. Hit the APP button.
2. Hit the filing cabinet touch button to the left of the home button.
3. Hit edit.
4. Select the view that you want.
Hope this helps.

Is there anyway I can remove the thing when I press the home button the preview of my pages show? Just don't like it and it lags. Thankss.
Go into settings, where it asks what pressing home actions are, something like that, select do nothing. It is not the one that brings you to home screen, just what hitting home does when you are already there.

Go to app drawer. Then hit menu. Then hit edit. Drag what you want into the bottom. Then hit done. But don't forget to reorganize your apps thry way you want by hitting menu again.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the correction. I was lazy and figured it would get the job done. You, my friend, have it spot on! No room for error or questions your way. That's how I should've responded...

Assuming this is on touchwiz. On Apex launcher, just drag and drop.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
I'm not particularly fond of Samsung's default button layout and I wish it was this way (maybe some developer can hack it to make it so?)
Home Button:
Single Press - Home
Double Press - SVoice (Which can be disabled)
Long Press - Search
Menu Button:
Single Press - Multitasking (this is the most used button after home so it must be quick to access in my opinion)
Long Press - Settings
What do you guys think?
Menu button :
single press for multitasking - I don't use that. Scrolling the task menu is slow and annoying. I prefer going back to any apps by clicking on the apps icon on my home screen.

Task menu is slow cause of the long press, and that's exactly why it would be great to have that on single press

I think its slow because you can see what, 4 apps on the screen? PITA imo, I usually have so much stuff open that a reboot is faster than swiping it all away

Has anyone found a method that works on the S4 to sort apps? Appzorter is no longer in the play store, and the .apk I have isn't compatible with the new version of TouchWiz?
Thanks!
Go to your app drawer. Click on the menu button (on the bottom left). Click on View Type. Choose Alphabetical Grid.
Thanks! That did the trick. I appreciate the info!
