9100 indicated ram as 837mb,meanwhile 9100G indicated as much as 910mb.
9100G is more faster cos more RAM?

I have 0.91 GB on my 9100

hmm i have 837 mb ram

Got 839mb RAM..

That's hardly a reasons to buy a phone.

Most likely the I9100G system, hardware or built in software uses less resources or other hardware differ from the I9100. Samsung advertises 1GB ram on these phones, but we know the graphics card uses up memory and the system uses up some too, hence 835mb total usable RAM on mine.

@ Molitro.. -> If you have a problem with it.. Keep it for you please
@ nicholaschum -> Would like to know why I9100G use less resources -> More Total RAM avaible

Processor and Video Cards are different, Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 is using Samsung own Exynos 4210 SoC CPU and ARM Mali-400 GPU. And GT-I9100G uses Texas Instruments OMAP4430 CPU and PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
This is what I got from Jayce Ooi's website:
Summary
I9100G
Doesn't overheat easily, better battery life.
CPU seems to be capped at 1008 MHz.
Poorer 3D performance.
Can't download apps / games developed for Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 in Samsung Apps / Android Market.
Fonts in PAPAGO! very small.
Not much custom firmware / modification
I9100
Overheat easily, poor battery life on Android 2.3.3. Android 2.3.5 fixed it.
Fully use 1.2 GHz CPU.
Better 3D performance.
Anti-Aliasing (4xAA and 16xAA) support with Chainfire3D Pro .
Lot of custom firmware, kernel, modification, tweaks, etc.
Seems like its the stronger GPU in the I9100 that's eating up the RAM that you're noticing on the photos above.

Is it possible to make the vibrant cpu as fast as the nexus one?

The cpu for the nexus one is insane. I don't care about I/O or anything else but cpu. Is there any way a vibrant (or any other galaxy phone) to match the nexus one in cpu speed? Is it possible without overclocking? If so then how can it be done?
Contrary to quadrant scores (Which aren't everything btw) the 1GHz Galaxy S Hummingbird is a much better processor than the first gen 1GHz Snapdragon that's in the Nexus One. Android 2.2 and the subsequent JIT compiler in it were coded specifically for the Snapdragon, therefore that processor runs the best in 2.2. Now the newest Nexus phone, the Nexus S, has Android 2.3, and Gingerbread and is coded similarly for the Hummingbird. Basically, the Hummingbird is the superior processor, and that is demonstrated in 2.3.

It looks like JIT can still use some improvement. 2.3 running on nexus one is still 40+ mflops in linpack vs 15 on nexus s.

So the quandrant scores are false?
So what about the 2.2 custom roms we have for the vibrant? Do they have a JIT compiler as well? Why don't they give the vibrant anywhere close to the Nexus one's (which has an inferior processor) cpu speed?
One sure test for the Nexus one is for someone to download and install Droidfish chess program from the market (it's free) and hit analyze. On the vibrant Droidfish reachs 100,000 nps after 50 seconds. I'm curious to what the Nexus one will reach here.

Concerning your statement in bold, you will get different answers depending on who you ask. Some people do not believe in Quadrant or any benchmarking, others think they are very accurate and representative of real world results.
I personally believe Quadrant is an excellent benchmarking tool, it is accurate, and representative of real world results. That is just my opinion, and someone else for sure will disagree.

Is the Mali-400MP better in the SGS3?

Despite both having the same GPU, I have heard that the SGS3 version will be better some how? Higher clock speed?
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hmm, could've sworn there was a discussion about it having more cores when it was announced, my bad then.
As far as I know the GPU will have higher clock frequency. Also both S2 and S3 have the Quad-Core Mali-400MP.

Well, S2 had the fastest Mobile GPU and now S3 has the fastest one. So if you really want the best GPU go for the S3 but S2 will also work really well.

Samsung announced that they have switched to high-k materials and metal gates (HKMG) and further claimed it can provide superior performance with less power than conventional poly-Si/SiON used at 45nm. Samsung demonstrated that Exynos 4212 (32nm version) SoC can produce 35% to 50% more horsepower than the older Exynos 4210 (45nm version). So clearly Exynos 4412 quad core wins the “CPU Horsepower” battle.

While they haven’t officially announced this yet, I believe the GPU is the same one they promised for the dual core 1.5 Ghz Exynos 4212 chip. They said that GPU had a 50% increase in performance over the current one in the Galaxy S2. This improvement is most likely possible because of the jump from 45nm for the dual core Exynos to the 32nm Exynos 4412 (they used the more efficient transistors to increase performance at the same or lower power consumption).

I had the Note which was dualcore Exynos 1.4ghz and same GPU, but 1280x800, it could handle just about all the games thrown at it, ie. RipTide, Asphalt 6. I only felt Mordern Combat 3 could have higher fps, although very smooth and playable.

The thing is that if you are hardly able to run the game on a Mali-400MP then the game would lag like hell even on T2/T3.

T2/T3?
Also I wouldn't say it hardly runs, minimum of 20FPS, lots of optimizations to be done though such as LOD (basically chops poly count down on far away models).
For lower devices...
Dynamic lighting turned off.
Light maps could be baked into the texture
Normal maps removed.
Specular maps removed.
At the moment it's probably the same or exceeds the quality of Shadowgun THD.

People at the HTC sensation forum extracted Adreno 225 Drivers and used it on their Adreno 220 powered phones and they gained a huge performance boost!
as we know Adreno 225 is Adreno 220 with double the frequency (thanks to that new manufacturing process of the CPU also the GPU still using the same process...)
so can't someone extract the new drivers so everyone with Mali 400 GPU can use it?
Because S3's Quad-core GPU frequency is 400MHz. S2 only 275MHz.I am a Chinese grade 9 student andlooking forward to GS III.

Question about total RAM on US version galaxy s3

Hi guys. I have a question for you. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 on the USCellular and from what i understand the US version came with 2gb of RAM.
When i run benchmarks on the phone with Quadrant Standard or AnTuTu Benchmark and when i go to the info part of the apps. This is what you get.
Total RAM: 1623MB available 419mb <------- Antutu benchmark
Total Memory 1662224kb Free 501520kb Inactive: 136464kb <---------- Quadrant Standard
I was wondering if you could maybe run the same app and find out your details if you have the US version .
I though that the number would be higher . I would love to see what number you get.
Thank you
Well international has 1 GB of ram here is the pic, 780 MB usable , and we have 1.6 GB usable i would not complain.

I can see why people needing dual sim support have opted for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, but what do members think of the display with a low ppi and small memory capacity?

The CPU and Memory benchmarks depend on the ROM, the number of Apps you've installed, and a lot more factors. Also, this phone is 4.5 years old now, so what more do you expect out of it? Your phone is not dead. Go ahead and try out some custom ROMs, Kernels and MODs for your i9100.

CPU and memory scores affected by version of android (as well as runtime and etc). Usually stock won't give the best performance, but custom roms usually have more performance. Installing a custom kernel can also boost performance too.

Same Android and AnTuTu version.
I have:
RAM: 970
CPU Integer: 1205
CPU Float-Point: 205
CPU Float-Point Score is so bad.
Why i have lower Scores then on Alcatel Pop C3 with 1300 MHz Dual Core in Benchmarking Software, but Games works normally like always? Android System works fast.
My CPU works only at Max. 800 MHz, not 1200 MHz. This is the reason why i get lower Scores. I Overclock CPU from 1200 MHz to 1400 MHz and it's works only at 800 MHz.
EDIT:
I found the problem. I have Enabled Energy Saver.
