try www.sammobile.com
Thanks, but i have tried all the 2.3.3 firmware versions on Sammobile.com
I need a 2.3.3 Nee Stock version.
Try one of the multi-csc firmwares, then you just change the csc-code to your region. Put this to your dialer: *#272*Device IMEI# and select the right one. (this does clear data)
Btw, my gf also has an ace...

And thanks
Hmm doesnt seems that Sammobile.com has a multi-csc-firmware in version 2.3.3

What i did was:
- flash 2.2.1 using odin (use firmware with multiple files, NOT a package with single file)
- change csc
- update to 2.3.3 using kies

Ohh that I will try ;-)

Hi, I've just gotten my galaxy ace for 3 days. I updated my fone to gingerbread using S5830XXKPE and odin from samfirmware. It's been restarting/shutting down by itself after the update so I wanted to downgrade to froyo again but I tried downloading and flashing a lot of other versions but, no luck. It hangs and stays at the "Galaxy ace" part of the boot and doesn't open. But whenever I flash it back to S5830XXKPE, it opens and works but I think it is bugged and I really cannot downgrade to other firmwares. Is anyone else having the same problem??? Help please >_<
Update:
I've successfully flashed it with S5830XXKPB but still its GB 2.3.3, I still can't flash it with froyo 2.2.1 firmwares. help pretty pleaseeeee...
Download a multipackage 2.2.1 firmware, one that when you unzip it will have several files. You probably flashed a single package .tar that caused the brick.
A single package update contains only some files to be replaced over the original 2.2 firmware and is not the full rom so you'll have to flash a multi package then update to your desired single package.
XDA ♥
Thanks for replying. Actually I'm using odin multidownloader 4.38 and yes, I did use the multipack not a single .tar.
Here are the list of firmware I've downloaded and used to flash my phone but unsuccessful all attempts: (and some firmware I've deleted because of anger lol) )
S5830XXJLC
S5830XXKA7
S5830XWKB7
S5830XXKC1
and now these two are the ones that boot up when I flash on my phone: (both GB)
S5830XXKPE
S5830XXKPB
I did successfully downgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.2.1 though. I believe the firmware from Samfirmware.com will have labelled "MULTI-CSC" or something like it.. I can't check now it's midnight here and sleeping time...
XDA ♥
okay, I'll try that too. Imma download 2.3.4 from samfirmwares then try downgrading to froyo. I'll tell ya how it goes. (crosses fingers) )
Successfully flashed to 2.3.4 but downgrading...no luck. What could be the problem...ohhhh maaaannnn!!! >_<

You could still update by flashing to the new one from the older multi-package.

Not to threadjack or anything but I did downgrade from 2.3.4 down to 2.1 XWKB7 everything works fine, Im on my correct CSC and the apn was preconfiged like it should be but when i connect to kies It says that it cant update my phone and marks my CSC as SER (wich it was with 2.3.4) but according to *272* Im using NEE
(wich is nordic as best I can gather)
Hope you guys understand this mess
Well do you have a nandroid backup of your system, data, etc?
No, I thought nandroid wasn't an option for us yet?
I have the correct csc and modem but its not the same PDA I have kb7 but stock was kc2
Just to update, kies was in a better mood today than yesterday and saw that I had the correct CSC and gave me an upgrade to stock

ODIN 4.38 can´t flashing? (mibip or startup?)
When you have problem with downgrade or upgrade firmware thrue ODIN and you are user WIN7 ---
- You can use to flash only one firmware!!!!
(it does not matter which, !!!! BUT you must going UP and DOWN,UP,DOWN like this(2.3.4 to 2.2.1 to 2.3.4 to 2.2.1)
----No like this (2.3.4 to 2.3.4 it doesn´t work) )
- You must after every re-flash--------reboot your PC !!!!!
- Your ODIN 4.38 stop at -- download mibib or something else? It´s my problem too
- After restart everything is O.K.and NOW ODIN doing everything to

Great news!!! I have installed and works fine with my ACE L version, the 3G connection works fine (my operatos works in 1900MHz frec)
This is the information in samsung kies
The downloaded file is an EXE, run and get a TAR file, flash with ODIN with signle package option.
If you come from 2.2.1 is very important to flash another samfirmware ROM such KPH, then flash this.
If you come from 2.3 don't worry.
And good news, this is original and appears in Samsung Kies, look
is it this one from samfirmware because there it is stated as 2.3.3?

Thanks for it! I've just installed it and it's working fine. Anyways, it seems I can't use it with some custom roms because of the modem (I installed coderom v2x and 3g it's not working again, just like kph) So I guess I'll wait to install it again till there are some custom roms for it.
Thanks! It work greats anyways!.

Nop, in SamFirmware only appear the Global Version, this firmware is for the L version, not for the Global, B or T, only for L, this device update to Ginger this day, this is and original firmware and the LatinoAmerican Users with unbranded devices see this update via samsung kies, in the second post I put a screen capture.
For the B and T version exist the 2.3.4 from Vivo Brazil, search in this forum if you want to download it

Hi !
I am gettung a problem with the keyboard here, now I'm with a stock ICS LPG NEE, and i still have a Qwertz keyboard instead of a Qwerty keyboard...
I already tried flashing a different stock ROM, tried changing input language, tried changing Language of the phone to Englisk UK, tried a full reset, Factory reset, everything i found out there i tried, but i got nothing... all ICS Roms i flash here i get this Qwertz keyboard...
Anybody has an idea what to do? Someone has the same prob ?
I download the ROMs from Samfirmware and here..
PS: I know there are lots of keyboards on market that i can download but because of this language prob, i think that even i changing language to English UK or any other, on dial, the numbers appear like 99-9999-99, and with my last GB Rom in english UK it was something like 99999999... hope u got it ! haha
If u read till here, thank you for the attention ! =D
i am just looking through the forums but love to know the same on how to flash and where to find the new keyboard.
Thanks

And the keyboard I'm using is "ICS Keyboard" from Binary Bulge found on Play Store.
it's a known error happening while updating ICS ROMs. just check CSC again after reflashing it. all your keyboards should work just as you wish them to, so there won't be need for any alternative.

Hum.. I fell better to know its a known error with ICS Roms and not just with me... while I had this problem I read so much that I learnd about bootloader, re-partitioning.. etc haha (I know that we can't play too much with them and they dont fix this kind of problem before someone says it..)
Well, i'll try to flash this Rom again.. if it dont work for 2 times i will flash an alternative...
Flashing an alternative CSC with Odin will fix it for (almost) sure at the first time?
Coz changing CSC is gonna wipe my phone isn't it?
Some people just put ROM file under CSC in Odin and it always works. Just use the same ROM file as the one you used for flashing before.

Really? so it looks for "Hidden" and "Cache" automatically on all Rom files? Cool !
I'll try it now then, thanks a lot !
You know, I don't take any responsibility... But the fact is that I read from at least twenty users they did it and it worked. It was because they didn't know how to extract and tarball CSC files themselves.anyway, nobody had a single problem with this method.
P.s. I believe that Odin is smart enough. If you use one-file ROM, adding it as PDA, it also has to find CSC and modem files itself. Now it will perhaps flash CSC files only as you placed the ROM file this way.

Hi! I have the same issues:
CSC = Unknown
Qwertz instead of Qwerty
And I did as follows:
- Installed CF-root so I can get into CWM and did a Wipe Cache, Wipe/Format data and Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Then I flashed the *.tar into the CSC spot with Odin.
At then end rebooted and stood the same way .. Unknown at CSC and with the Qwertz instead of Qwerty.
Am I missing something here?
Also when I get into CWM it says Multi-CSC activated and that the CSC is XEU, but when i go for *#1234# it says Unknown ><
Some ideas??
Is your product code available in ROM you were flashing? Sometimes this may be the reason. Anyway, try flashing ROM again (as pda), if CSC is still UNKNOWN then flash ROM as CSC. Do not wipe your phone in the meantime.
If this doesn't work then try to adjust your product code to ROM and repeat the procedure.

Hello.
I got the same issues flashing a LPW firmware.
I try two times cleaning a user data and inmediatly flash de LPW firmware unsuccessfully.
So, finally, I boot normally after flashing the new firmware, I got CSC unknown. Then, I restarted and flash the same firmware without any wipe or cleaning. Let's boot normal and I got the correct CSC. That's work for me :cyclops:
Hi there, wasnt getting too much response in the Aus thread so fingers crossed someone can help. My dilemma is i have tried to root the phone and now im stuck on the opening screen...tried various kernels with no success. I dont have/ didnt check the original settings (hindsight i know)
Phone was on Gingerbread 2.3.5
Model is: 9100T - Vodaphone Australia
I can access the download screen, Odin works fine, kernels say pass/ success but my problem remains
I've searched countless threads, used just about every kernel, but unsure as to what the next step is
If anyone can shed some light on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.
