I have a Samsung GT-P7500 and wanted to know if ne1 knows how to change the settings menu background colour from white to black or gray. Or is it model specific? I've seen a couple of videos which have the black/gray colour but wasn't sure if the model was a 7500 or a 7510.
Black background was in stock honeycomb rom. After touchwiz was rolled out background changed to white.
Only way to change is to install a stock honeycomb custom rom or theme

Thanx for the info. Where would I get a stock honeycomb rom?

does anyone know how to remove the overscroll glow from the KI3 rom?
its very annoying!
Would quite like to know this too. I don't mind it on the phones menus but in the browser it looks horrible. Looks very rushed and unfinished
check the themes and apps section
Well, KI3 is a test release, so it probably is unfinished.

2.3.5 browser overscroll glow
It's really most annoying in stock browswer.
Anyone having a browser 2.3.4 update.zip?
Maybe downgrading stock browser would prevent it
from glowing?
Try using the UOT kitchen, disabling over scroll glow is rom specific

using UOT kitchen will not help, it just remove the blue color
but the scroll effect stay the same..
maybe someone got another idea?
man i have this problem to i dont like that blu in the browser any solutions? i am think to back to 2.3.4 for this problem
The Samung part of over scroll glow is clearly poorly implemented and coded. The over glow on pure android like the system setting list part has no problem and feels right. I found that the galary and browser glow is very buggy. I hope it can be fixed soon. Galaxy S3 is coming out in about 6 months but we are still fixing many stuffs for S2. All devs and tester/customer should get paid from Samsung IMO. LoL

Hi does anybody know of a way to make menus and notification bars in XXLPQ look like the nexus. I'm guessing I gotta change the frameworks? But not able to find one
I'd wait for a ROM you can apply Vertumus' theme to.
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone was working on a white S4 theme for Jellybeans rom. I fell in love with this theme when I was using JellyButter's v11 S4 themed rom, but due to the GPS(which I need working perfectly), I had to come back to Jellybeans rom. So anyone in the process of making that theme for this rom or is there anywhere I can find it if it has already been made? Thanks.
I got the settings, contacts, and dialer white themed but I can't get the in call screen in the secphone.apk to go white..a while back they had the same issue with the international lte model so maybe check and see if the got it working over there then it would be very easy to port but as of nowI get force closes every time...pm me

Thanks for the feedback. By accident when looking around, I found that there is this very exact theme in the T-Mo forums, but I think it is for the Tweaked rom. From what I've read, other then a few small cosmetic things, it seems to have been fully ported and it seems to work on the Verizon Tweaked rom with no issues.
Wiped cache, then dalvik cache, took a chance and flashed this and it WORKED! Everything flashed except the status bar, which didn't turn transparent, but that can be fixed in Beans rom. No System UI foreclosures at all. So anyone wanting to flash this on Beans 22, I can confirm that it works! Backup first though. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394714
Update: First issue found. After changing my status bar to transparent under Beans Custom Settings and then changing my status bar text to white, you will then have a white on white status bar when using the Chrome Browser. Stock browser is fine, as it shows a black background with the white text.

Hi guys
I want to know how to get more themes in the settings menu under display settings themes menu on android 4.2.2
even I am ready to donate whosoever will help me
If you have a Themes section in Settings, I'm assuming you are running a custom rom such as CyanogenMod, AOKP, SlimBean, etc? If so, there are tons of themes in the Play Store...

If that isn't the case, well, if you don't tell us what phone and rom you have, how would we know what to suggest?

my device is spice mi436 with stock ROM and vanilla android
Ah ok. That's not typical of most android phones that are stock. But I couldn't find any info about the themes section for your phone. Doesn't seem to be a popular thing to do. I looked at an unboxing video for it and they didn't even discuss it. *shrug* If it's a built-in one and they don't already have some kind of theme store for it included, you're probably out of luck.

Does it just change the launcher theme or the actual system theme and launcher? If it's just the launcher, then there are dozens of other launchers that have 100x the customization options.
is there any way to make the messaging app have a black background? a friend running the same OS has the black background with what they say in blue and what the other person says in yellow, and i think it looks so much nicer. i have a feeling the white bg may be an at&t specific thing but i wanted to be sure...
