[Q] XXLPQ Look like nexus? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi does anybody know of a way to make menus and notification bars in XXLPQ look like the nexus. I'm guessing I gotta change the frameworks? But not able to find one

I'd wait for a ROM you can apply Vertumus' theme to.

[Q] rom extras

ok so i was looking around and found on the TW website they have rom extras for Obsidian. i been looking through the fourms here and on there site and cant find the answer im looking for so maybe you guys can help me. i was thinking of trying out the 2.2 stock-ish theme they have for download but not to sure how i go about installing it. plus anyone know what it will do? like im assuming it will make it look stock? and get rid of the black theme that comes installed?, anyone try it out yet
You're talking a out the stockish framework. It will put your look back to the greyish 2.2. Dropdown. Whatever else they themed black. Works fine and doesn't affect anything other the look.

[Q] disable overscroll glow in 2.3.5

does anyone know how to remove the overscroll glow from the KI3 rom?
its very annoying!
Would quite like to know this too. I don't mind it on the phones menus but in the browser it looks horrible. Looks very rushed and unfinished
check the themes and apps section
Well, KI3 is a test release, so it probably is unfinished.

2.3.5 browser overscroll glow
It's really most annoying in stock browswer.
Anyone having a browser 2.3.4 update.zip?
Maybe downgrading stock browser would prevent it
from glowing?
Try using the UOT kitchen, disabling over scroll glow is rom specific

using UOT kitchen will not help, it just remove the blue color
but the scroll effect stay the same..
maybe someone got another idea?
man i have this problem to i dont like that blu in the browser any solutions? i am think to back to 2.3.4 for this problem
The Samung part of over scroll glow is clearly poorly implemented and coded. The over glow on pure android like the system setting list part has no problem and feels right. I found that the galary and browser glow is very buggy. I hope it can be fixed soon. Galaxy S3 is coming out in about 6 months but we are still fixing many stuffs for S2. All devs and tester/customer should get paid from Samsung IMO. LoL

Click to collapse
uncheck overscroll glow in jkay deluxe theme settings. or flash through cwm recovery next zip file.

[Q] Question about the icons.

Hey guys,
I just updated to ICS and just like GB, when I tap an icon, there is a grey border (square) that appears around the icon itself. Now, I've seen it on other ICS devices where there is no grey border. Is there a setting for this? or a theme?
This is a feature. Install another launcher if you don't like it.
K900: Seems like a rather unpolished "feature". And that was part of the question, I was wondering whether that was inherent to the GB/ICS and that I need to install a new theme and/or launcher or whether I just needed to enable/disable a setting.
I know I have not been around as long as you but a more informative reply would have been helpful. Thanks.

[Q] How to change Softkey Appearance on SGS3 (i put a picture if it here)

How can i change my Softkeys look like the ones down on the picture (mine look like the ones at the top) ? Only found threads for nexus...
[So i am new here couldnt post the link so i describe the picure]
On the top there is the GS3 nav bar. The home and back key look different from the ones on the nexus.
I want to know if its possible to change this?
Specs:
Galaxy SIII I9300
Stock Android 4.1.2, rooted
Pls would be nice if i would not need custom roms, custom kernels and stuff...
Thanks

Is it possible to see colorful emojis in gingerbread?

Hi again lol
I found out the best rom for my galaxy s2 is stock Gingerbread 4.1.2 and I was wondering if there is any ways to see colorful emojis in notification bar and in apps like Instagram, etc
Is it possible or I have to install newer roms in order to see them? (Like kitkat and Marshmallow)
Pls if there is any way let me know, I don't want to switch to buggy/battery drainer roms
