and how many delay you get on wakeup?
edit; the problem was on ics1.2 behradgh -> downgrade to this fw is giving for me unrootable with errors + i flashed 2.3.4 and got same errors, then formated all and reflashed this, then installed with stock recovery root and it works

Guys this firmware is perfect (for me)
I have update from S5830XWKPY. Quadrant score is 998 (1008 with XWKPY), the system is very fast. With 2.3.5 battery seems to lasts longer.

I don't know which problem you're talking about, but I don't think it fixes any of them.
I'm still unable to connect to my University's connection (wpa2-Enterprise, Eduroam), and I think Samsung is never going to fix it.
I'm so fed up with this problem... I won't buy any samsung mobile in the future, this is frustrating

Well, I flashed my moms Ace to stock S5830XWKS2 recently, but she experiences random reboots on heavy wifi usage. I cleared cache and everything, but nothing helped.
So I was wondering if this was fixed now.

Newest firmware update this year for Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S830 hits over Orange Spain packed in Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. The latest firmware build number is S5830BVKT3 with a build date of 2012, February 09. This is an upgrade from previous version S5830BVKQ9 2.3.4 which was lastly released in 2011 October.
I installed this just for fun (i'm no Orange user) and it's a good firmware. Also sports the Orange Launcher. Biggest issue, can't seem to be able to root. upd_1.zip file fails to flash, log says my phone doesn't go under any of the product names known. Also OneClick failed to root with every method known. this makes kernel installation a pain in the .
will try

just tried. Root works with upd_1.zip

JJEgan already told you what you SHOULD do. You said yourself the GPS never worked. Why didn't you return it then, before you moved countries? If it never worked, there probably isn't going to be a miracle that anyone can give you to make it work now.
As above and at best reflash rom ect or go to a good mobile shop

It's a samsung rom, so there is no changelog. I doubt that even samsung has it... Where did this rom originally come from, which area i mean? Is there a chance that it might come upgradeable through kies?

It's originally for Spain (FOP).
Its description is as follows:
Download Country: Spain
Regions: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
Some say (different forum again) that KIES has signalled the upgrade from KTM into this KTQ and it happened in Poland, i.e. outside the regions mentioned above. It's even stranger for an unbranded rom as KIES AFAIK normally doesn't care for unbranded.

Root not working
I used one (single) root update.zip, but root is not succesful, why?
and what about a new rom with polish?
It was really strange for me...
I flashed ROM through Odin, but it seems it installed it as an upgrade as I still have my old Apps and rooted....
Although "About Phone" Says XWKTQ

No firmware update for GS3 in Middle East since June 26

Kuwait
Is this normal or my phone does not get the OTA??

You'd probably find, that you've got Android ICS (4.0.4) which is what the phone came with.
That is how everyone is feeling.
Jelly Bean is still being developed and is not as stable as ICS, and that is why you have to root your device and flash a custom ROM, to the phone to get Jelly Bean. Other than that, your phone is pretty much up-to-date, seeming as ICS is the latest stable build, for the Samsung Galaxy S III, worldwide (Sammy)..
I'd suggest getting your phone rooted/flashed and that you choose a custom ROM, you find your phone much more attractive, then

No need for CAPS, IS THERE?!
Right, maybe it's because there AREN'T any, that are compatible with your providers.. So, get a custom ROM, that way, you're pretty much always up-to-date.. And before you get snippy, calm down and actually state, what you want AND need..

Stock rom does not void warranty .
Custom rom or root does void warranty but can be removed .
Ask phone provider for your update or use CHECKFUS .,
Sim Locked does not mean branded it means locked to a carrier .

There's still no root for .15. You'd be better off going to the Razr M forums and following the development going on there.

I'm telling you, there's no way to root right now, and you're better off following the device specific section of this forum. You'll get better info than you will get in this general section.
