Miui.us site doesn't specify cdma or gsm, has anyone tried to flash this, might be a desperate attempt for me to get some aosp on my 3d gsm. obviously I know theres always been a divide as gsm/cdma so I can't see how it would work, if the boot.img contains the kernel, now source code is out, could we put the sense kernel in? Not sure where to go as, I know sense kernels didn't use to work on also roms on my desire. Any ideas how to get aosp anyone?

This has been brought up on the miui cdma rom thread before. You might want to msg one of the devs I believe he mentioned making a GSM version for beta testing. It was a couple weeks ago I think. Hope this helps you out bud

Bigrushdog , miui genius, is working on a new CDMA build for 3D. When it is done, I will see about porting it to GSM. If anyone would like to be involved in that, please pm me.

From what I read the 3d won't work and htc have closed the source. I wouldnt care too much. I love the speed of cm7, the look amd a whole lot more.
Would be a bit annoying to own a 3d phone with no 3d.... Would be cool if you could dual boot then use 3d. I think that may be the only solution. ( I remember reading this could be done)

The Backstory:
After some ROM Tesing for Evo 3D GSM (Leedroid, Warm) I'm not satisfied with battery life (I also tried different Kernel/ROM combinations). Doing Internet Research I found and got all hyped for ViperRom, tried to install it and discovered (as you might know) it only runs for cdma version.
Looking for GSM Version i only found this thread:
No viperRom for GSM
and discovered that development was cancelled in August 2011.
Coincidentally I found a little thread about Synergy Rom replacement, where I asked the viperRom developer team. The answer is already posted above.
I have been running the cdma rom since I rooted back in version 1. Very good rom, is the best out there

One of the hard parts for us would be that neither viper or myself have a gsm 3d, so we'll have to depend strongly on testers. I'll talk things over with him and see if the demand is high enough

Hi guys i have a question i have HTC EVO 3D GSM rooted S-On (via HTCDev) i tried couple of ROMs like virtuous Eclipse RC2 and anrylarom 14 ICS they both are pretty awesome with everything working except Wi-Fi (maybe i was doing it wrong but i tried on both ROMs but neither of them have Wi-Fi) so anyway i have a question what is the best ICS ROM with 2D Camer (if there isnt 3D id dont care alot) bluetooth WIFI dialer and i wouldn't mind sense 4.0 those are the most important features to me if there is a good ROM with those feature you know please help me and thank you for your help.

i tried the Newts One S for the HTC EVO 3D but i couldn't flash it for some reason every time i try to flash it,it says operation aborted,i think cause its not for the GSM version only for CDMA if there is another way to flash it (beside CWM) please tell me and i dont really care about 3G/4G or 3D.

DO NOT flash CDMA stuff on GSM phones (or vice-versa!)
Both the mentioned ICS u have tried, have working WIFI...
Did U flash the firmware?
Use virtuous' sense 3.6 rom if your GSM Newts sense 4.0 or the virtuous 3.6 CDMA equivalent.
3.6 for functionality, 4.0 to see whats coming.
With you being S-ON, why don't you just run alpha rev if your h-boot is the right one, if not then downgrade.
Attain S-OFF and if your GSM i know that Virtuous' sense 3.6 works very well, everything works and it's very quick, although the best in everyone's eyes isn't the same thing.

I'm just curious that when Jellybean update arrives on HTC One S, would there be a port to Evo 3D possible? All the Sense 4 ROMs atm are ported from One S only. So.. I hope it's a doable thing.
It is possible. Back when the vm ics ruu leeked, devs were able to sprintify the ruu into ics roms for us. It will more than likely will not have 4g and 3d at all. No source code yet. There's a thread in general that talks about what htc devices are getting jellybean. That would be a good place to look through.
