My GPS locks instantly on asop.
Have you installed the network location apk? (Protek first post has it.) If not install it. Nandroid your current setup. Flash a sense rom and aquire a gps lock, then restore your current setup.

It does this often when i exit maps, exit browser, exit tapatalk. usually when I'm running an app for a while it does that too. Sense would do that on my incredible as well. I don't think It's a ROM thing, maybe just an HTCsense thing coupled with usage. It gets annoying. I've ran the 2 ROMs on my phone so far. Uberbamf, and latest synergy nightly. Both behave the same and both have system tweak tools. I flash, i wipe. Is there anything I can do to keep sense in memory with those tools? Or do I limit the way I use my phone? I'm guessing there could be a solution besides flashing an aosp ROM (which I know some would suggest) Or using home replacement app? I don't care for any of those options. I just wanna enjoy my sense more.

My bolt did the same thing. Just use launcher pro and you will be golden.

Yea i know that but i want to use sense. Has there been any advancements in the developer community for sense UI performance enhancement?

I have been having the same issue with preview 1 of Uber BAMF but I think I read it was fixed in preview 2 and/or 3. I've just been lazy and haven't updated.

ive flashed other roms but it confused me on
INFORMATION: READ THIS!!!!
NO MATTER WHAT ROM YOU ARE COMING FROM... ENABLE A GPS LOCK PRIOR TO FLASHING!!
can someone help me on the steps on how to flash this rom
THANKS!!!
oh and do i have to flash a radio, and how do i do that?
What this means is flash a sense based Rom. Open up Google Maps and verify your position on the map. Once it locks on, use Rom Manager to flash the new Rom.

There is a GPS fix that a guy is needing help testing out in the Developer Forum here. Look for it. It only has like 5 replies with me being 3 of them. I haven't had a chance to look at it much. But his GPS fix can be applied to any ROM and added a few more satellites to get you better positioning.
This weekend i tried to use my gps with google maps and it wasnt working at all. I did come across this video on youtube for making the gps work im not sure if this would work for teh thunderbbolt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fqn_G1xzeY
Cm7 is kind of old IMO....... I would use a different Rom such as thunderstick or bamf..... I'm using thunderstick and never had a problem with gps

Ill take a look into that but so far this is the best rom I have used with no issues minus the gps. I would really love to try and fix the gps otherwise I can live without the gps navigation that isnt working. Most other roms ive used battery life isnt as great as ive seen using this.
I believe i have read somewhere on here that if you boot into recovery and make a backup of your ROM you can then restore an earlier sense room. Once restored lock the Gps in using maps or gps status from the market. Once it's locked boot directly back into recovery and restore your backup you just made and Gps should now work.

Can't find any Sense ROMs that seem to work - tried FasterFix from the market, that didn't work well.
If it helps, I'm on Thundershed.
Every sense rom the gps works

GPS problems are a known issue with Jester's new rom (at least for some users). Quick tip: it worked for me when I had the sense bar and settings. It stopped working for me when I flashed his aosp patch. So you can try a clean wipe and install, update to .15, and not flash the aosp patch. That should get it working for you.
